The Trail MTMORLY2 is a better shoe than the Hierro 7 , now that I have owned both .

Since the v5 the hierros have gone down in quality immensely. They are more foamy feeling/ less durable. As well as the shoe being less thick, they are very narrow. I love the hierros but i wish they would bring back the v5.

The shoe is really nice but the sizes of New Balance foot ware have been leaning toward smaller than my typical experience purchasing NB products. And that encompasses 30+ years. Had to send them back.
I purchased a different NB shoe instead and it ran small. First world trauma, yes. Lesson learned: Upsize by half.
New Balance is still a great product!!!

I bought these for my son. he'd only worn them a week and to 2 cross-country practices and the toe of the shoe started fraying. It's easily noticeable and looks like the shoe is coming undone.

This series of shoe climaxed with the Hierro v5. The v7 is a horrible let down but it’s kinda indicative of what’s happening with New Balance as a whole. Sizing is smaller and width has noticeably changed. Comfort is no better than $20 Walmart shoes. Durability is severely lacking and so is quality control. I’ve worn New Balance since the ‘80s. This is most likely my last pair.

The shoe felt like a “seconds an missed” shoe toe box was wayyyyy to short length wise an depth wise . Will not buy again !

So disappointed in this shoe. The description stated it had a composite toe. I even asked customer service and they too stated it had one. I need it for warehouse work. When they arrived, no composite toe to be found. Immediate return.

Female ordering male shoe for width. Ordered 2E width and felt like medium width - toes were numb after wearing 30 minutes. Ordered in the purple color, which I liked. But might be too bright for others.

These shoes fit oddly on my son. His foot seemed the room off the edge. The worst part was that after 2 months, the material on the toes started shredding. Fortunately, Zappos happily refunded my money

I ordered 2 pair size 2 tennis shoes, this is what happened when I tried them on and this is for both pairs:
the right foot had a little too much space between big toe and end of shoe THEN I tried on the left shoe and I had to struggle to get the shoe on. Once I got the left one on it seemed be ok -- very unusual -- I have never had this happen!!!
I am going to drive to my nearest New Balance store (which is 23 miles one way for me) to exchange these 2 pair for some that fit.

These v7's look cool but are hot garbage! Fell apart after 2 months. Customer service said "sure send them back" we'll refund you. I said ok send me the label you promised they replied "get bent."

Terrible experience. Wrong size to begin with, called customer service to help me with a smaller size, then was sent an even larger size than the previous shoes that were too big. Returning them completely at this point. Waste of time and money.
