Comfortable shoe comparing to v6 and v4. Toe box is slightly different, dealing with some blisters on my big toes. Overall a comfortable shoe.

Tongue doesn't stay in place. Vibram soles wore down about 4 months in. Wore a hole through the top about 6 months in, and 11 months in the side is now wearing. Overall comfortable and nice looking but these became lawn mowing shoes really quickly.

Good show for hiking. Plenty of grip. With that in mind the shoe is a bit noisy on concrete/laminate /tile which I wear to work. The fresh foam 1080V is the most comfortable shoe ever for walking but it isn’t cheap. You get what you pay for.

Unfortunately, too narrow in the toe box! One of the rare times when a NB shoe was tight on my size 16D foot.

These shoes are not safety toe for work. They are/were advertised as being safety shoes. These are trail running shoes with a reinforced toe to protect against injury while running on trails

While very comfortable and stylish, these shoes walk very loudly on all hard surfaces, including sidewalks. Also, the heel foam folded down almost immediately. Not like the last version of these shoes. I preferred them.

The overall impression is good but after a month of usage for running 2 times a week, both shoes started to refract at the top and some kind of synthetic lines appear on both sides of each shoe. I can recommend it if you are planning to buy new pair every 2-3 months

I purchased issues after having previously worn a pair of fresh foams. I really love the look of the shoes, but after a few runs I felt that they did not provide enough support and that I was feeling calluses after less than 10 uses.

Chose the Hierro V7 for the available size 13. length is OK but the fresh foam sole collapsed after 3 weeks I plan th use a sole insert to make the shoes comfortable.

I used to wear a 16 B or N and in the past several years I had to size up to a 17 D/standard width. In addition, there are VERY FEW CHOICES in my size. I think I lucked out with this shoe because in spite of the D width it seems to fit reasonably well, just a little fabric pucker at the front laces ties. I'm concerned about how well it will last but time will tell.

I have owned 5 pair of hierros so far, 2 of each of the two previous versiond. They have been my go-to shoe because of the wide toe box and generous cushion, but the v7 are different. First, the wide versions feel quite a bit narrower than pevious iterations. Second, the length seems to run a half a size smaller. Very dissapointed in the dimensional changes, the materials still remain top notch. If you're a wider foot try and find the 6s on closeout and if you can't, size up!

I had to rework the heel counter as it was kind of smooshed somehow. I put a shoe tree in it and left it for a few days. Seems ok now. Very comfortable and lightweight.

Been using New Balnace Hierro for years. I buy 2 pairs at a time because they are so good. V7 are not as rugged as previous versions. Good enough for street/track but on my first trail run I could feel every rock and bump. Maybe a result of "shrinkflation" or a new environmental design. I've already ordered another shoe from a different manufacturer. Really too bad.

No structure or support. I have purchased probably 50 pairs of new balance trail runners over the years as they are one of the few that make a selection in wide. These are my least favorite. No matter how I tied them my foot moved around a lot and the shoes felt squishy. On a backpacking trip I got blisters around the perimeter of both heels after 2 days. Which is a place I never get blisters.

They felt great in the store and wearing them around the house. They kill my feet once are started walking outdoors with them. Can't return them as I wore them outside.
