I take a 10 1/2 wide shoe. The 880 V11 was one of the most comfortable shoes I ever owned. For whatever reason, V12 is tighter and not as comfortable. I say this after trying 3 different colors of V12.

I was disappointed as these where the first NB shoes I've purchased that were not consistent with the company's sizes (and I've worn five different models about 10-12 pair of shoes over the years that were the same size).

The New Balance Fresh Foam X880v12 shoes were a disappointment. I normally wear 11 1/2 Med comfortably, and could hardly get my feet into the 1st shipment. I exchanged for a size 12 Med and they were still too narrow and tight. I walked around considerably in my house to see if they would feel any better, and they did not. Both the 11 1/2 and 12 shoes were to small and too tight. The basic shoe construction, in my opinion was inferior to other products I have purchased. The material was basically a cheap plastic weave material and would not "give" or expand at all while wearing. My feet and toes felt "crushed" wearing these New Balance shoes. Sorry, but this product is way overrated. I used to this New Balance made a nice shoe, boy was I surprised. I returned both pair and asked for a refund.

I'm 63 years old, have orthotics, been wearing NB shoes for as long as I can remember, except in recent years, NB shoes have been a big disappointment, the fit has not been the same, don't know what it is, sorry I took a chance in ordering up a pair of 880v12's, For a decade I wore this one particular NB shoe and then for whatever they discontinued the model, have not been able to find suitable replacement, will continue to wear other shoes from other manufacturers,

The descriptions need to be more accurate instead of just trying to make a$. I own 5 pairs of NB shoes and they need to be accurate on the firmness and stability of them shoe. People with even minor foot problems will appreciate it.

I have had these shoes for 3 weeks and I wish NB would make the v11 again. They are not comfortable as the previous generation. The wide fit was better as well. I can't wait for v13 to come out.

I've been wearing New Balance shoes for 20 years. Never had an issue with them being too small/snug. This pair definitely runs smaller than any other pair of their shoes that I've ever owned. I started wearing them thinking I'd get used to them since I've always had such great luck with New Balance. Big mistake! Now all I can think about is how tight they are.

I have been on 880s for years, and generally wear them to the point of failure by the outside right fabric separating/tearing. But the two pairs I ordered three months ago have *both* broken down early, the first after less than a month (under 300 miles). I don't want to change brands, but this is ridiculous!

These run way small. Sadly, I've worn them so I can't return them. I'm out $135 because I have to scrap them. Totally unwearable in the designated size.

I bought these shoes believing that they were going to be the best
but it was a disappointment I believed in reviews and nothing I saw regarding the 880 v12 was true, they are beautiful and made of good material
I ordered medium but they are very tight, they are very narrow, the room of the toes is uncomfortable, very closed, that is why I always buy new balance 8.5 just right, they are very tight even if you buy a number and a half more or wide, they are too closed and they are not padded at all or balanced, no cushioning, they are spectacularly rigid, I put them on at home to walk and it gave me a cramp in my little toe and pain in the bottom, another thing I bought a topo ultrafly 3 and they have good space in the feet are designed for the human foot, they are wonderful I ran with them 3.2 miles and it's like flying, really; but the 880 v12>> are not at all padded instead for these I will opt for a topo ultraventure 2; but thanks to God and zappos that is very cool with me it solved my problem!

I normally order the 880 line, I see they changed them again but this time they are not as comfortable and feel cheap. Normally they fit true to size but these came wider then normal. I wouldn’t recommend these until they redesign them again and hopefully they fix them.

Love this model and brand but this pair has the plastic shoestring eyes separating from the left shoe

Shoe is heavy and fit was too tight in toe box. Only wore once and would like to return. Have bought many pairs of New Balance over the years.

Sole of shoe is too flexible for me.
I need a shoe with a firmer feel like the 990v6.
And it runs small.

I was disappointed and had to return the sneakers. I ordered my usual size which is a 9.5 EEEE. Unfortunately, they were very tight and I had to return them. Normally it is a no brainer. I fit in all of the 9.5 EEEE with no issues.

The shoes are completely unusable. Trying to deal with New Balance customer service is impossible. They either do not respond or they blatantly lie. Save your money and buy something else.

I've only had the shoes for 45 days and they are already falling apart. The letters on the sides are peeling off.

I love the shoes but the size is not true to fit. I always order 14 x-wide but these were short in length. Will send them back

i've worn NB 993s for years. A great shoe, but had to return the recently purchased pair to NB for replacement due to an insole issue. Waiting with fingers crossed for the new pair.

I bought these due to their super padded heels which are great for running. Unfortunately the plastic in the toe box cracked and rubs against my big toe every step causing blisters. Unwearable now.

I tried on a different color in a store. The 11.5 wide size fit well. I ordered the black here in that size. They did not fit the same. While the shoes said 11.5 wide, they fit like an 11 regular. The shoes I received were also dirty, prelaced and had clearly been returned before. Oh, the shoe laces are too short as other reviewers have said. I'm a long time New Balance customer and can't find shoes in a color I like that fit. The odd colors fit fine. Something simple like black is mismatched and way too small. New Balance needs to get their act together AND please add a color or two that's more mainstream. A sizeable chunk of your customer base doesn't want wild or pastel or... colors.
