These were the same model shoes that i always order; however, they were extremely large and they slipped when I walked. Not sure if they changed the shoe or made the Wide version wider than before.

The insole was very comfortable, overall it felt pretty stable. What I could not get pass by is the toe guard that evidently every New Balance running shoe has. Just that part was too uncomfortable.

I purchased these shoes for gym work. Am currently wearing an 840V4. Have always worn a size 10 in NB shoes for years. My toes are at/near the end of the shoe. Exchanging/returning for a 10.5. Laces could be longer.

It a great shoe but it's a size toosmall

The show feels comfortable from the get go and the laces work really well (they stay straight: they don't twist) but I wish the shoe had a bit more cushioning. Maybe the next version will provide that?

I ordered size 11 wide. The shoe is wide, but the insoles seem to be standard width, causing a gap that my big toes hang over and rub on. Still wearable, but insoles are defective & uncomfortable.

It has a weird fit to it. Not comfortable.

Like the shoe, as I've ordered probably ten pair of 880s. These run very small, and for the first time have to send hem back for re-sizing.

I use the shoes for exercise walking and they work very well for that. I like the feel and look. Could not tie the shoestrings with a bow--too short, and the half-bow kept coming undone. Very annoying. I had to purchase longer shoestrings, adding several dollars to cost of shoes. Cannot understand why a brand like New Balance would skimp on shoestrings. Had same problem with last pair as well, but could use matching shoestrings from an older pair of shoes from another brand.

I love how comfortable these are for running and other activities however after 3 uses the soles pieces on the bottom started coming off not sure if I want to spend the money on these again

I have a both the v12 and the v11 version... both in a 4E, but the v12 is much more narrow in the same size and width. Quit changing aspects of shoes between versions NB... 4E should always be 4E

I bought a pair of the same shoe prior to this purchase, but different color . Love the first pair. The shoe I received fit different and the laces were very small. Very uncomfortable.

I got a size 12 wide but it looks like they are shorter than a regular 12 because often my nail touches the end of the shoe. I should have bought a 12.5 instead.

The laces are too thin and too short

I contacted NB because my older 880's developed unfounded wear and I wanted to fix them, not replace them. Instead of advising on how to fix the issue, they sent me a voucher. Still have problem.

This is my eighth pair of 880's and I love them. However, the shoe laces are too short making almost impossible to tie when laced to the top. I would love it if New Balance would send me a pair of longer laces for my steel colored 880's.

I've been wearing the 990's for a long time and have never had an issue. This shoe style is a half size too small. When attempting to exchange the color I wanted was no longer available.

I have bone spurs first try on not bad sturdy shoe comfort not bad but then started to look further what's with the painted soles makes them look dirty. the tounge no gussets no shoe string lugs don't lock down on your foot blocky looking and what's with the paper thin insole that was the deal breaker other brands have nice insoles same comfort same quality half the price I wanted to like them but they are going back

Big fan of the current version 1080s and have worn 880s a few generations ago. Tried these on at home and they felt big and bulky on my feet. Much more shoe than how they looked in pix. Bought standard width shoes as always but my forefoot felt like it was swimming in the toebox. Decided to not actually run in them, since I know they weren't going to work. Sticking with my New Balance 1080v12s and Rebels v2.

I recently purchased a pair of NB Fresh Foam X 880v12 runners. The runners looked great and fit exactly like my other three pair of NB runners. What upset me was that the laces were simply too short for the runners. I believe the person After numerous phone calls to NB I was informed that they simply didn't have any longer laces in the special colour I needed. I told them to simply remove other laces from a larger pair which would have longer laces. Nope, NB refused to do that. In fact, they refused to even try to solve the problem. Tell me, what job is the customer service department supposed to do? Anger very good NB customer and refuse to try to get me another longer pair of laces. Ridiculous.

This is probably the 3rd New Balance shoe I've purchased and the first one I returned. Got the same size as before but this time the shoe was too tight in the toe. Shoe appears to have a squared off toe so maybe that's the issue (?).
