Only lasted for 2 months until the bottoms were worn completely flat. Not worth the price for sure. Wish I could return them because I’ve never had such a bad experience with New Balance before

Shoe is way too tight. Not a comfortable fit.

I have been wearing the 1080 foam for years!
sadly, the design has changed, the shoe is much narrower! You have stiffened up the heal support.
This was my go to shoe, going through three pairs, a year, no more!

After walking just over a mile, these caused me to have severe pain on the outsides of both of my feet.

New left knee pain since switching from the V10 to V12. Problem solved when switching back to V10. Confirmed multiple times. 9.5. is more like a 10.5. SO HUGE my wife laughed at me! UNHAPPY!

The V12 is a bit longer but a lot more narrow than previous generations. For years I have worn a wide shoe and this if the first time I need to upsize.
Consistency of product should be maintained to prevent consumer confusion.

At the store these shoes felt great, and even on short walks. Longer walks i have severe lateral foot pain in my left foot. I have never had this issue with any other shoe before! Super dissapointed

This shoe is not comfortable at all so if you're buying it just buy it for the style because that's at least nice

The shoes were great. The reason I had to return was 100% my fault. I didn't realize I was ordering a men's 8.5 vs a woman's 8.5. The lack of return communication between NB and customer is HORRIBLE!

Great feeling shoe until I run over 2 miles. They become very painful as there's not much arch support. I have a neutral foot and I wouldn't recommend for others.

My son prefers NB for running. I bought him these and he hates them. They have no side support whatsoever.

Ordered size 10, pair came in with size 10 tag on. Left one fit Normal, but right shoe was at least an inch bigger in size. Paid 170+ for this pair with two day shipping and took 2.5 weeks to come in

The shoes have very limited color options. The colors are the same for long periods of time. No more custom shoe building is a bummer.

My first 1080 v12 purchased in May had a sole width measured at the toe box of 5 1/4 inches. The second pair just purchased measure 4 3/4. Similar diminished width at heal. Stability gone. Apparently corruption comes to New Balance?? Come on !!!

I should contact you because within the first week my son showed me the foam has already torn on one of the shoes. We've purchased New Balance for years and this has never happened before.

They were great at first but after 6 months they have fallen apart. The plastic has cracked in the heel, the material covering the inside of the heel has worn through and it pokes me when I walk in then. I've owned the prior models of the 1080 going back to v7. They have all lasted more than a year. I feel this one should have been the same considering I am less active now. Very unfortunate and NB feels that this is normal product life for the shoe.
Frustrated I,

My shoes were delivered and the inside sole of my left shoe had a hole in it. Not something you would expect from New Balance.

I have been wearing some model of New Balance size 10.5 4E for 25 years and the fit of the 1080v12 did not disappoint. In fact, with the upcurve at the toe the toe box is quite roomy and comfortable. I use the shoes only for running. The problem is that the outsoles wear exceedingly fast, especially the outside of the heels. The black portions wore through to the fresh foam in 100 miles. After 150 miles the pains of running on a worn out shoe started to creep in so I ditched them. What a shame.

I use them for walking, and some light running. At first i thought the shoes were a huge improvement over the 1080v10 and 1080v11. The heel was supportive and I was certain it would last longer than the v10 and v11. It felt like i was walking on water. 6 months later: the rubber sole has worn through significantly and the heel has completely worn through with cracking of the plastic to boot. I still have the v10 and v11 and they are in better shape. This should not have happened to the v12. It turns out, that there's a 6 month warranty policy that I was not aware of. Lucky for NB, I am 4 days past the 6 month mark and New Balance will not offer an exchange.
Frustrated,

The soles of mine are starting to come apart, after just over 2 months of wear. I don't even use the pair to run or anything in, just walk around campus. Attempted to contact customer service, sent pictures of where the sole is separating, as well as pictures of the shoes in general to show they're still in great condition. Was informed it's outside the 45 day return policy (which they're in great condition but I have been wearing them daily). I wanted them to send me a new pair and have me return their poorly made ones, but they refused. I have bought probably 10 pairs of 1080s in 8 or so years. Never again will I purchase another pair of New Balance shoes, after the poor quality of product, and even poorer quality of customer service.

Seems as though all the cushion is on the forefoot area. Heel had less cushion than my Nikes. Run very narrow as well.

Website said these shoes were larger and to downsize. I did and the shoes were too small and not wide enough. Returned shoes the next day and I have still heard nothing from NB about return. Very disappointing customer service.

I returned the shoes. The shoes look great, but I ordered the wide size & the shoes were narrow. I tried on regular D sizes various brands that were wider.

This is not a conventional running shoe. I thought it looked good but fit and comfort are a challenge
