My son loves this shoe! Offers him a great foot bed with comfort from the foam and stability from construction of the shoe.

I wish there were more options in 13.5 mens , besides the Kawaii and this shoe and like two other shoes .

I love this shoe. However, there are two things to note: it runs a half size - maybe even a full size - too large (for me it's a half size). I wear a 9.0 standard or 9.5 standard depending on the brand. I ordered a 9.0 in this shoe. Too big. I would buy another pair and likely order an 8.5. Only my cowboy boots have an 8 in the size. No other shoe. Very strange.
Second: this shoe is VERY comfortable. I could walk and run all day in them. But they are not for sprinting. Glad I don't do much of that. They very soft but not obnoxiously soft.
Other than those two things, can't wait to buy my next pair. NB got it right. Only actual problem with the shoe is its sizing.
COLOR: the green is NOT pastel as shown on this website. It is much closer to a lime green. I still love it but I was hoping for a mint shade when I ordered it and got "Hey look at me!" green instead.

Comfortable and plenty of room for my feet. Good cushion and stability for my bad knees. Great color selection. Would have given 5 stars, but the high price is a downer.

I have had several pairs of New Balance in the past (880, 1500, 1400...). I was looking forward to trying the 1080 for my long runs and I am not disappointed. They are very comfortable and the adaptation time was very short. They are the perfect complement to the shoes I use for my higher intensity runs. I took the same size as usual and they fit perfectly.

I am 6' 2" and 215 pounds and these help me land soft and the foot bed does not break down. Love this shoe!!

These are great shoes right out of the box my joints were starting to hurt and I checked to see how old my shoes were and turned out to be 6 years old ..when you run on the beach shoes tend to last longer but I think I out ran the last pair !

This shoe is the best I've found . I've spent quite a bit on running shoes and for work . NB is great . Some sizes are a tad small , but they have a simple return policy .

The 1080 line of New Balance running shoes are my choice, the v12 is living up to its predecessors. So far, my only criticism is the lack of a larger variety of color choices.

Good shoe, but does not appear to have as much padding as the previous version

I ran over 350 mile on the the v11s and was hoping for the same with the v12. The shoe feels flat and lacks the absorption I was expecting. The v12 seems to fit a bit large than the v11 did and after long runs the outside of the bottom middle of my foot is so sore that I limp. I tried to remedy this by inserting my own insoles and the pain moved to my heal. The lack of comfort is not consistent with other NB freshfoam shoe I have run in.

I like this shoe a lot so far. I have feet that are just wide enough to be uncomfortable in standard width but Wides often seem to be a little too roomy and feel unstable. I like the more elastic mesh upper on this shoe because it solves that problem. I have been running in the 11 wides for several weeks now and love this as a recovery run shoe. I also like to keep at least one more maximalist shoe in my lineup. To change up my mechanics and prevent injury.
New Balance is better than others about this but the colors I would have wanted sold out very quickly in wides. I kind of hate the color I ended up with. Another minor complaint is that the foam on the midsole seems excessively wide extending much further out to the sides than seems necessary. As a result I occasionally feel the shoe brush mu opposite leg which is something I haven't experienced with any other shoe. I have a Marathon in 3 weeks and its a little too cushioned for the actual race in my opinion but it has been a solid training shoe for those Tuesday runs after my Saturday long runs.

I use this shoe as an every day do everything kind of shoe and they are extremely comfortable. I can wear the shoe all day long and my feet don't hurt. They are extremely comfortable. I also have a pair solely for the office. And I wear my every day shoe to the office take them off and put on the regular shoe I've got the same one 1080 X and at the end of the day my feet and legs do not hurt. The only thing I would change about the shoe is the tongue the tongue is rather thin and can be a little bothersome.

would have preferred a little more support as well-it is hard to do both

I've been running in the 1080 since V6. I've liked most versions; but not this one. I was fitted at a national chain running store for size 11.5 D, which has been my size for decades. In the 1080 V12, I like that they changed the heel counter (I don't notice any heel slippage) and the toe box is wider than V10 and V11. I don't like that the throat of the shoe is wider and I have to tighten the laces to the point that the upper material folds over itself. Also, they reinforced the two eyelets near the tongue with plastic and this causes an uncomfortable pressure on the upper part of my foot. But this pressure could be the result of me having to tie the laces tighter than usual. Lastly, the Fresh Foam X felt great at first with high, responsive cushion. However, after only 80-85 miles, the shoes feel dead. I have even recently noticed the bottoms of my feet feeling sore after my last two runs of 5 miles each. In my opinion, this shoe is not worth the price, especially considering the increase in price. (I weigh 165 lbs. and run 15-17 miles a week on a "rails to trails" trail made of crushed limestone.)

I'm past the point of serious training, but still try to put in somewhere between 20-25 miles a week. I don't really do any real speedwork anymore, just mostly decent paced runs. I've also been dealing with some plantar fasciitis for the past few years. The shoes have been great for me so far. Super comfortable and protect my feet well. As most say, order a half size down (I usually wear 10 but got 9.5). I've been very happy with my purchase. Definitely a little bulkier than I'm used to wearing, but this is my transition to less speedy shoes and to being more mindful of my body. I could see these still being great long distance trainers for serious runners, if anything for those longer slow mileage days. The fresh foam feels great!

I do like the upper but for some reason I get numb toes. I would return them but I've worn them for a 12 mile run so looks like these will sit in my closet.

For context, I've been running in an old pair of runners for a long time so anything would have been an upgrade but WOW. These are extremely comfortable and I've got so much more spring in my step.
I heard they run a bit large so I went to local retailer for sizing and was glad I did, normally a 12.5 but 12 was a very good fit (ALMOST too narrow but the upper is very forgiving so they are very comfortable)

This is definitely an awesome comfortable shoe! I'm a big fan of overall training! I lift weights, box, walk, mountain bike ride, and try to maintain at a solid over 250lbs, and this fresh foam shoe is by far the best & most comfortable shoe I've experienced. Thank you so much for this awesome pair of shoes!!!

Undoubtedly these are popular shoes, and receive almost universally positive reviews. For me though, I have the same problems with these shoes as the previous pair, lace pressure. They are uncomfortable on the top of foot regardless of the lacing system I use. Perhaps a little more padding top of shoe would alleviate this.
