This shoe feels like spoon. It’s soft and well made but there is no arch support. Nothing.

The shoe was ok, but not great. It seems that some of the area on the shoe where the laces come out was not entirely closed. I felt this to be an imperfection in this particular pair and should not be taken to be something across the board on this model.

This is my third pair of Fresh Foam NB shoes. I am disappointed in the comfort level. I've worn them all day for about 10 days now, hoping they just need to be broken in. Not so.

Really liked these shoes. The only reason for the three star is after a few months I started noticing a popping/cracking noise, seems like an interior rigid piece of the footbed must have broke, so it would make this noise every time i took a step. Has progressively gotten worse.

The shoes are a little tight around the top of my foot. I wanted extra wide but they didn't have them in that shoe.

Fit not good, my feet don't feel supported when I'm out walking around. Material feels too light, cheap.

I've had many pairs of 1080s. I've generally liked them, but had one shoe (of one pair) totally fall apart on me after very little use. NB made no attempt to make it right. Better luck with yours!

There are a few things I don't like about this shoe compared to the V11. For starters the upper is overly protective around the ankle. The padding is too thick for no reason. It rubs around the ankle. The tongue is also too cushioned. It could be a bit less. All this would save weight. Now for the cushioning. It is less squishy than the V11 for sure. A bit on the firm side which takes away from what fresh foam was all about. I feel that this was a step backwards for this model. Someone explain to me what this model is good for? You are better off with the Fresh Foam More V3. Not the V4, that's a brick. R & D needs to get their act together.

I wear a 9 1/2 running shoes, these felt like a 10 or 11 size. I did like the toe box.

I've run in 1080s for 5 years probably. The changed the heel, made stiffer and more importantly the fresh foam is not so fresh. It's like running on a regular hard running shoe. So disappointed.

I used to feel like I was running on clouds when I laced up a new pair of 1080s. This version seemed more like running on shoes with 200 miles behind them - not nearly as cushioned as I expected. And pay attention to the larger size warning. I should have tried at a local running store vs buying online from NB as the turned out to be clown shoe size. Maybe not quite that bad but much more space than I expected. Still fine shoes with a nice wide toe box, just not up to the very high standard I expect for 1080s.

Loved the shoes, very well made and comfortable, until the arch began to set in. It's far too high and makes the shoe practically unwearable for those of us with low arches. Really disappointed.

I use these for walking and exercising. I find that they fit but do not provide anywhere the same level of support as my regulars shoes, your 990's. I find my feet, metatarsals and bunion in particular, are sore.

Hi - good sneakers - I have some foot pain and the soles are nice and soft - especially with an insole. However the padding around the back wears out after 100 miles. Needs to be way more durable material

V10 was much more flexible around the ankle and had a much softer feel. Also the V12 runs too long.

Hi, Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed in this version of the Fresh Foam 1080. I find this shoe very rigid and not nearly as comfortable as the Fresh Foam 1080 v11 I had previously. The positive is the show seems more durable and may last longer but it is no where near as soft and comfortable on the feet. I would have rated the previous v11 five stars.

I have purchase three pair of the New Balance Fresh Foam 1080 v10's in 12.5 2E. I purchased the 1080 v12 in 12.5 2E thinking they would have a similar fit and feel. However, the shoes in v12 feel short and narrow. They fit like a 12 or 11.5 in length and like a regular in width. I was immensely disappointed so I am returning them for a refund. .... Another online purchase gone sour with regard to fit. Guess I will just have to shop in the store from now on.

New Balance is my go to shoe. Have an interest in HOKA One's but will look for these in a store.

Using as exercise and general wear. Shoe advertised as 2E. Design not conducive to wide feet. Shoe could be wider. Would recommend ordering 1/2 size up if have a wide or otherwise nonstandard foot.

These hurt the arc of my foot and rubbed against my ankle when I ran. Had to return them for a different brand.

I like these shoes. Comfortable. But expensive and the tread wears out FAST. Probably makes sense to buy a cheaper shoe if it's going to wear out over a similar time frame.
