These shoes are too light on top; the fabric binds and feels super thin. I know this is a part of the design but it is not functional.

The soles bunch up horribly making the shoe extremely uncomfortable. As soon as the shoe is wet and you're running a downhill, the soles quickly became bunched in the toes and now the sole is ruined.

These look amazing and i was super excited when i go them to wear them. I went on a 6 mile run, and by the end i had a big blister on BOTH of my achilles tendons. I could feel it rubbing through my sock while running after about 3 miles and thought i was going to have to run barefoot back to my car lol. I'm not sure if it just has to do with my socks? I was wearing the normal mid-height nike socks. Either way, every time I out them on now i can feel the padding line scraping on my achilles tendon and its just insufferable to wear them.

I bought this shoes based on the recommendation from Jeff Pelletier and it was a disappointment. The quick laces was not secure enough and my feet was slipping inside the shoes, especially on the trail, almost twisted my ankle last time. There was almost zero cushion on the heel which hurt my feet a lot even after a short 5 miles run. Now it became my walking shoes.

After being so impressed by the excellent S lab pulsar SG, I bought these as a shoe to take to longer distances in racing and training. However they're unwearable. The gaiter feature is more rigid/tighter than the s lab version, and digs into my ankle and Achilles. The sole feels very tippy, and unless you're on very buffed trails, they feel like an accident waiting to happen. The ride is actually quite harsh and I couldn't see myself going further than 20km in them, if they didn't cause me pain that is. So disappointed.

I loved version 1 so bought version 2... however, I struggle to get my foot into the shoe opening!!!! Seriously, almost five minutes of trying to get my skinny foot in, but once in the shoe fits fine. I also cannot fit the lacing into the pouch. I have to assume this particular shoe off the line was an error. Once on I love the shoe, but getting it on is a completely different issue. Never had this problem with a Salomon shoe.

My left shoe insole , moves to the back of the shoe, there is something funny about how the insole is not staying in the right position. Since the first time i wore them, i have use them a few times and I have to be replacing in the correct position the insole, not funny.

I've run three 14 mile sessions (each with 2000 ft total climb) while training for a trail marathon. First two sessions were good; however, after 28 miles of breaking in, the STIFF fabric of the upper was injuring my pinky toe above my right foot, especially when bending the top of the shoe during pushing off. Loosening the laces slightly reduces the pain but compromised the overall fit of the shoe. The laces holds mid foot but heel and toes don't get a good wrap, especially since uppers isn't cushioned. I was hoping the Pulsar Trail bootie-like integrated tongue upper would be comfortable like a sock -- unfortunately it is not. This shoe seems designed roads to light trail that are mostly flat, especially since the shoe fabric and midsole does not help prevent twisting ankle. Also I would not use it for a race since I don't get good propulsion since the midsole cushion is too firm. On the fourth session on the trails, the pain over my pinky toe was so bad that I abandoned my run after 5 miles and decided to discard it. I did not even get 50 miles of use.

Unfortunately, I cannot wear these shoes because I can't get them on my feet. The opening for the foot is solid, no tongue insert, and it's too small to get my foot into. I will return and don't let anyone buy them without trying them on in a store.

I bought this pair of shoes less than a month ago and it is causing blisters on my left foot in same area(arch of the foot) every time i go for a run with this shoes on. Left shoe's lining is thicker than the right one. I not happy with my purchase.

I've gone through 5 pairs of Salomon trail running shoes in the past, so I learned to trust the structural design. These are bad. Returning. Unstable. No heel support, meshy stretchy fabric vs. steady back of the heel construction in previous models. Unstable. The yellow color turned out to be clowny bright orange, so photos are incorrect. Meh.
