Very warm, even on 27 degree morning in MA today! I love the fit, I'm just giving it 4 stars because I'm concerned about the hems on the hood and sleeves which seem a bit flimsy and I'm not sure how they'll last.

I'm 5'2" and the petite hit my waist at exactly the right spot. I generally think of myself as a medium but the medium was too small. The small petite was perfect. The hood is barely noticeable from the front - it does not detract from the look of the collar. It's incredibly comfortable - virtually weightless.

This is my second down sweater and I love it!! The hood is a must and this color is amazing! Love the light-weight feel of this jacket yet it is very warm. I'd buy another!

All I need for 95% of my winter days in Maine! It's plenty warm and I have space to layer underneath if I need to, but more often I find myself unzipping to cool off. If a Petite had been available at the time of purchase I would have gotten one as the sleeves are a wee bit long - but with the cool stitching and styling, no one can tell. I wore this up Thorndike Trail to the top of Ragged Mountain the other day and it was misty/foggy/rainy - I stayed dry. Once I got home, the jacket dried quickly.

Nice to have a high quality technical jacket for layering that has petite proportions. Love the down & the cut.

Bought for my daughter. Weight to warmth ratio excellent. My daughter wanted something very light; doesn't like heavy feeling coats.

I love this jacket! It is light but warm and so comfortable. I like having the hood. The color (green) is luminous and the jacket feels very elegant for something just to wear around.

Love this down sweater - I have versions with and without hood, and they are great for 45-60 degree days with light layers under. Less bulk than a regular dorm jacket, but perfect for chilly Texas winter days when we have em

I have used this for hikes under my down coat when the weather was in the teens and also worn when I am going to be removing a heavy coat to be inside. Attractive fit. Love the color. This will be used a lot over the coming years.

Awesome jacket. Fits great, warm & flattering. LOVE. I'm five foot four and 130lbs and took an XS regular. In other brands I'm usually a small.

I bought this coat in red, and it's STUNNING! It's light as a feather, and yet sooo warm! I wear a size 3X and my clothing is usually neither small nor light. When I picked up the package I could barely believe my coat was insideit was so light. Then when I opened the package it was so thin, I thought surely it couldn't actually be warm. I'm happy to say I was very wrong! I wore the coat to go walking on my lunch break. I was only wearing my scrubs (tissue thin) underneath. Within a few minutes I was actually perspiring!. The coat is comfortable. You can barely notice that you have it on. Not bulky or constrictive in any way. And honestly I can't say enough about the gorgeous red color. It's a beautiful shadelike the color of a holly berry. If I could rate this more than 5 stars I absolutely would!

I love this jacket. It's perfect for the change of seasons and for warmer winter days. It's light and warm and looks good. I wear it a lot, even though I live in a winter climate.

After searching for a down jacket with small baffles and a hood, I settled on this one. It turned out to be a great choice. The fit is perfect, enough room for a sweater or sweatshirt, and it is nice and warm despite its light weight. There is no insulation like down for cold weather and this jacket provides the warmth without the bulk. Love it and you can't beat the price.

The Ultralight 860 down hooded sweater is my go to jacket for all excepted the coldest days. It machine washes easily and drys in low heat in the dryer in a short time (frequently faster than polyester jackets).

Very warm and light. Perfect for traveling light. Wish it had included stuff bag; stuffing in its own pocket is not practical.

I bought this specifically for playing late season golf. I have the 850 jacket and that one is a bit too warm (but great for everything else). It fits perfectly. The hood is a great addition. Plenty of 'swing room' even with the hood on. Highly recommend!

This is a nice transitional jacket for fall. I love it for cold morning or evening dog walks. The hood fits well without pulling. When the temps dip into the 30s, I use my Bean down vest over the jacket.
