Great jacket! Keeps you warm without being bulky. Love it

I bought this jacket after getting a Columbia jacket on sale. It was a great deal, but I never liked the way it felt (dug into my chin if hood wasn't up). This jacket is much softer and very comfortable. I originally bought a medium and switched to a small. The small fits pretty well. Very happy with the jacket.

This jacket will be my favorite winter jacket from now on ! It fits perfectly, is warm, and very light, what is not to like. I am 80 years old, so with L.L.Bean's quality it will last me for the rest of my life !! I am even grabbing for it when the weather isn't quite cold enough, because it is so light weight. I love it.

I thought I had received the wrong jacket because it is so lightweight. It keeps me warm at 30 plus degrees. The icy-blue color is beautiful.

SIZE DOWN! I originally ordered my usual size, XS, and was swimming in it. I exchanged for an XXS and it fits perfectly. Extra light for the warmth it packs, great quality, and flattering fit with a slightly longer back. It's roomy enough to wear a fleece or heavy sweater underneath, if needed, but I've also thrown it on over a thinner layer and haven't felt drafty. I don't know why I waited so long to buy this, it's a really great jacket at a reasonable price point!

How could a jacket that's so light still be warm enough for Michigan winters? Somehow it is! I bought a size Petite Large and it's plenty roomy....just right I think. Also love the "spruce" color.

I love this coat!! It fits, the red is gorgeous and it kept this Texan warm in Denver snow and wind;plus it was lightweight to pack.

This is hands down the warmest jacket I have ever owned! I love how light it is - not bulky at all! The fit is also true to size. I'll be purchasing one for each of my kids and husband!

When I first put this jacket on I was skeptical about how warm I would be because it is so light it feels like you are not even wearing a jacket. Shockingly, I was super toasty warm and the hood fit nicely around my face when the wind kicked up. Would absolutely recommend this jacket to anyone looking for a warm winter coat that does not restrict your mobility.

I order a petite. In the past I've gone with XL. I live in Alaska and wear layers. This time the jacket ran bigger and longer--change of style with raglan sleeve and longer cut. I exchanged my usual XL for a petite L. Now the fit is perfect. Warm cozy. Lots of compliments! A fellow at the coffee shop tried mine on and ordered his on the spot, in a men's size of course. Though he looked pretty cute in the women's petite. Oh. I like the color. Mine is the bluish green.

I am in love with this jacket. It's very warm and lightweight, but my favorite part is the length. It's seems a couple inches longer than similar jackets. That little extra length makes it more flattering, and makes it much warmer than shorter jackets. I purchased the Carbon Navy color and really like how the contrasting zipper 'pops'.

This is my third 850 down jacket. I purchased the earlier jackets two years ago and have worn them constantly during our cool and wet pacific northwest winters. Two jackets should have been enough! :) However, I wanted a brightly colored visible jacket for winter walks. The "dark red" hooded jacket is perfect! It is definitely not dark red, but a bright visible red. I accent with a black wool scarf , a pom pom wool hat, and black gloves. I'm between a medium and a large, but prefer the large for layering with a vest if it is super cold. I like the lightweight cloudlike warmth - very cozy!

I currently attend college in Maine and this jacket has been a life saver while walking to class this winter! The 850 down insulation keeps you warm and comfortable while outside in the Maine winters. High recommend this if you are looking for a simple, very warm jacket.

This is a weird one. I love this jacket. I live in this jacket. It's comfortable. I got a regular xsmall..it's toasty without the bulk. The thing is, I've gotten a couple of them at this point. I'm not the most gentle on my clothes. I have a dog and we are outside everyday roughing around. This isn't the most rugged jacket. It tears easily and I've even once burned a very small but annoyingly feather-leaking hole into it. I love their return policy, it works well for things like this but I'm 20 minutes away from the store.

Fits well with room for heavy sweater without looking bulky. I love the longer backside because it covers while bending and adds a simple curve. But why wasn't a double end zipper put in the jacket ???? Please bring them back.

I have had previous versions and loved them and this is no different! It is warm, lightweight and comfortable! I have plenty of room without looking like a blimp. It is well made and I love the new features. Well worth the price!

Seventeen degrees this a.m. where I live. I wore this jacket for the first time, and it is great! Warmth without weight, nicely fitted, and room for a layer underneath.

This ultralight jacket is simply great. I love that it is made for +25 to-25 degrees. How much more perfect can it get? The fit is fabulous! Thank u for it! The carbon blue color is gorgeous!

So lightweight ! So warm. Hood is good. Juniper is a great color. I have room for a sweater under it without having it snug.Sleeve length is good.Interior chest pocket is perfect phone size.

This is the coziest jacket. Can't wait for it to be cold enough to wear. LOVE the bluegreen color too; so pretty.

I very much like this coat. It's comfortable and I purposefully purchased a larger size so I can wear thick sweaters underneath of it. My only disappointment is that it already has a pinprick hole in the sleeve and some of the stuffing wants to come out of the coat.
