I love these jackets, they're warm without being bulky. I have a few of these jackets and like the new colors that come out and always fall for the bright cheery colors. This one is so pretty and Sugarplum is the perfect name for it - it's not what I was expecting - it's prettier!

I am an L.L.Bean Student ambassador at Cornell University, and this is my favorite puffy jacket I own. The Ithaca winters are FRIGID, and even though this is a light jacket it keeps me extremely warm. It is so cozy, and a beautiful color.

I love that this jacket is very lightweight, yet warm. I ordered a medium and it fits comfortably over my winter sweater tops. I like the color even better than it showed on the internet. It's a beautiful ocean blue color that is less bright than it showed on my computer.

This jacket is very warm, extremely lightweight and fits so well. The sleeve length is perfect, normally sleeves are too long. The hood is very comfortable and attractive, normally hoods look like you've pulled a sock over your head but this one is warm and attractive. The zipper is also easy to use which I appreciate. The pockets are deep and hold my gloves, buff and my phone! It's pretty much the perfect coat for me!

Really like this jacket. It is light-weight yet warm, has decent pockets, including for a phone. The fact that it can be packed into its own pocket makes it ideal for traveling between warmer and colder areas (I live in Northern Alaska). The color is great & I get a lot of complements on how it looks.

Comfortable, lightweight, and looks great! Does seem to run a little small, so order one size up! I wish had. Very happy with it.

I love the fit and feel of this coat. It is attractive, has a gorgeous rich color, feels extra soft and light. I have not worn it in the cold yet, but am hoping it will keep me warm with the 850 down. That being said, I wonder if it is worth the extra $100 compared to Bean's new down jacket with fleece lining that has the same temperature rating, but think the slippery lining will make it more comfortable over the fleece tops I usually wear in winter. The color, though, wins hands down on this jacketwish it was available in a longer version.

Perfect coat. I bought a size up so I would have adequate room in the shoulder area.

Fantastic jacket. I have worn it daily since I got it. It is warm and very breathable. I wanted a fitted look so I went with small. I am still able to wear a thin sweatshirt underneath.

Much warmer than down sweater which I live in. This will be great in dead of winter!! Great treat!

Needed a jacket that was easy to throw on and go! Most of my coats are longer so I was looking for more of a jacket than a parka. This jacket is perfect. It's light but warm and looks very flattering. Love the blue and have already worn it several times- very comfortable. Highly recommend!

The size petite (s) is roomy but allows plenty of room for several layers beneath. Usually in the winter this jacket is my third layer for outdoor temperatures in the 30's-40's. I liked the 850 down jacket in Dusk Blue so well, I purchased another in Black for next winter.

I was replacing my old jacket of this style and love the update. The sleeves are slightly longer and the hood now has adjustability. Also, the inner pockets are more functional for me. I carry my weight in my hips so I just have enough room. The navy color is so I pretty, very in style.

Lightweight but warm.

Exactly what I wanted! This jacket is light weight but warm enough for WI winters. It is well made and has a flattering fit. Rather pricey, but sure I will be wearing it for many years.

I ALREADY HAVE A LONG DOWN FILLED MID-CALF LENGTH PARKA THAT IS INCREDIBLY WARM AND A LIGHTER WEIGHT WAIST LENGTH COAT THAT ISN'T WARM ENOUGH FOR COLD WINTERS IN PA SO I WAS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING IN BETWEEN. THIS FIT THE BILL PERFECTLY. IT KEEPS ME WARM IN THE MID-20'S AND IT PERFECT TO WEAR WHEN I HAVE INDOOR SHOPPING AND DON'T FEEL LIKE SWEATING IN MY PARKA. I LOVE THE COLOR AND CONTRASTING ZIPPER. I WISH THE OTHER COLORS HAD CONTRASTING ZIPPERS BECAUSE I PROBABLY WOULD HAVE GONE WITH SOMETHING OTHER THAN BLUE SINCE I HAVE A FEW OTHER BLUE COATS ALREADY. EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THIS COAT!

I returned a 1X Dusty Blue 850 Down Jacket without the hood for this similar jacket. So glad I did. The color is more exciting, the size is perfect and the bonus is being able to throw the hood on in bad weather. Thank you LL Bean for an outstanding jacket.

After reading the reviews I purchased a medium which I never do and shouldn't of done (I have wide shoulders) I returned it for a large, which was super easy and painless, and I can honestly say I love it! It has kept me dry and warm (even to the point of steaming after shoveling snow) if you are looking for a light weight super warm jacket here it is, I would highly recommend it to people who freeze in 30 degrees or below temperatures!

I had a similar jacket same color that lasted me several decades but the stuffing started to come out of the seems So I talk to customer service and they told me the 800 hooded jacket would be similar and is much improved My old jacket was more for not so cold weather but this one with the new filling is so warm and I wear it all the time now especially in the car and it's fantastically warm and light
