It weighs so little that it feels like you have no jacket on at all. It was very warm and I needed to unzip it during a walk trudging thru the snow. Temperature outside was 29 degrees. Can't wait to see how warm it will be cross country skiing in the very cold weather I.E. single digit weather and below.

This is the warmest jacket I have ever owned...perfect for NH winters. Sleeves are perfect for my long arms, and hood is just right - not too big. Love this color too!

Very nice and extremely warm!! I love the length of the arms too! Wind does not blow thru at all! I have been wearing it hiking and walking dogs with the lowest temp of 21 so far and I am totally comfy!! You will not need a ton of layers at all!

The Ultralight 850 Down Hooded Women's Jacket is comfortable, lightweight and provides more than enough warmth in cold weather. Also it packs easily for travel. I have another 850 Down Hooded jacket from several years ago in another color and it has performed very well. Would highly recommend.

I've had the coat about 3 weeks testing it out and I would say when you put it on you think you have on a light jacket but when you go out and it's only 30 you are warm and very comfortable. I have not tested it into the teens but I am in Michigan and that will be coming very soon. So I'm hopeful it will continue to please. I will be traveling to California in a couple weeks and leaving Michigan and going to the desert night will be my true test. So I leave here all bundled up and I have to have a coat on at night in California. It should pack well because it's very light and it packs into that little pocket. I think it's a great little jacket but it hasn't really been cold yet in Michigan so time will tell. But I am happy so far.

I needed a warm winter coat that can help me survive the Maine winters, and I am delighted at the warmth and the light weight of this coat! A long inside pocket is just big enough for my hiking maps! Thank you!

I took a chance on this coat. I walk my dog in all sorts of New England weather and I wasn't sure this lightweight pink coat would be up to the task. But, I love it, I love it, I love it! I wear it all day, out with the dog, getting in and out of the car and doing errands and it is just great. It is a lovely pink!

It's great. Runs a little small ( tight in body) so I just ordered a size up. Love the color !!

I really like this jacket. It is light weight but warm. It packs down well to fit in my backpack. The hood can be pulled tight around my face when it is cold and windy.

I feel true to size; I bought extra large so I could layer. Great for colder nights and moderately cold sunny days. Two inside pockets: one huge pocket on the bottom left and a narrow one on the left paralleling the zipper, good for phone, keys, ID etc. Two outside zippered pockets and left one has an inside zipper so the jacket can be stored inside the turned out pocket. Another plus, I love the color. Very lightweight and down which is only material that my eczema allows me to wear. Only negative is that if the the jacket is hung on a hanger it has to be zipped up because no snap or Velcro closing available in the neck area. There is a loop for hanging on a hook.

I purchased the Dark Plum color. Like the other 4'10 reviewer stated the diagonal striping is very attractive for us shorties so I imagine it will look great on anyone who wants to look taller. It's a great fit. I purchased a Petite L because I like to wear layers in the cold damp Pacific NW. I like that it hits me a little lower on the hips so I can keep my hips warm. I get lots of compliments on the color and styling. Even though the jacket is a little pricey, I will purchase another color next year.

I love everything about this jackethow lightweight and warm it is, the fit, the color, the interior pockets and hood that actually stays up. My only complaint is that the pocket zippers keep catching on the arm seam stitching. I'm afraid it's going to rip one of these days.

Super warm and great fit. So nice to have the petite option for coats like this. I'm 5'3" and 125 lbs and ordered the Petite Medium so I could wear layers if need be.

This jacket is super warm, blocks the wind and repels water. It's perfect!
