This jacket gos everywhere with me: evenings out; to the grocery store; hiking with my labrador retriever at daybreak; and to church! It is surprisingly warm, for its light weight, perfect fit and stylishness! No, it does not have the abrasion resistance and storage capacity of my Baxter State Parka, but it does have pockets inside and out. For most occasions, this jacket is all the protection I need.

My favorite jacket. I wear it all the time. Warm and very lightweight, hood is easy off and on, zipper makes it very convenient to close and keeps the cold out. I have two in different colors. I have only one complaint and I hope LLBean is listening. I was prepared to buy another one this past winter, but the colors were all so awful. Please make prettier colors for next winter.

I love the light weight jacket. I bought it for our winter trips to Europe and I haven't tried it there yet but have worn it around home on a cool day and it was really warm.

I wanted this jacket for 2 years...should have bought it sooner, but I appreciate it even more now. I am 5'1", 115lbs, and purchased a Small Petite. It is light in weight, easy to move around in, and it keeps me warm.

I was a little skeptical when I first got the jacket as it feels so light and thin but it keeps me warm. I wish I had bought it sooner. I would definitely recommend it if you're on the fence and if it's on sale, it's definitely worth it.

Works very well on long hikes on the AT in the winter. Warm, water resistant

I love this jacket so much! It is perfectly warm in most cases. I haven't warn it in anything less than 30 degrees but so far, it has kept me warm and isn't heavy or bulky. I ordered an XS and S and kept the XS small. There is still plenty of room for a sweater or sweatshirt underneath. I am a pretty short person and the sleeves are usually a problem but they are perfect (for reference, I'm 5'3" and 120 lbs). Love this jacket!!!

Comfortable and light weight. Love the way the hood keeps the wind out. Didn't order it in time for football games, but will certainly enjoy it next year!

The only drawback of this jacket is that it rustles more than average. I love how light it is, though--lighter by far than my old down jacket. It's also surprisingly warm--fine for an Adirondacks spring. I haven't tried it in the rain yet. I'm about 115 pounds and 5'6". Once I ordered the smallest size, the jacket looked great. One size bigger made it look weird.

I LOVE this jacket. Thank you LL Bean for making it in a XLP!! I'm 5'4", 175 lbs and thought I'd never find a down jacket that fit me and felt great to wear. This one is it.

This down jacket is wonderful. I bought it for all around use. It is best suited for moderately cold weather. Very nicely made and light weight.

This has become my favorite jacket! It's light weight so I can fold it and stash it in my bag and when I need it it's perfectly beautiful. I have gotten so many compliments about it. It has a hood that covers my head and hair and looks very nice on me. The size and length are also the right medium size. I'm 5'4" tall and 150 lbs. and it fits perfectly well and contours my shape to give me a good figure. It's also very warm when the temperatures are in the teens. I highly recommend this jacket!

I love my Ultralight 850 Down Hooded jacket! I purchased it in November 2021, and have gotten so much use out of it. It keeps me plenty warm. I have worn it in 17 deg weather so far, in snow, and rain, and it was perfect. So light and comfortable. I do wish it came in the Deep Marine Blue. Now I am going to purchase the same jacket without hood for those cooler spring and fall days. I highly recommend this jacket!

Lightweight but very warm. The contrasting color of the zipper gives it an updated look. I like how you can cinch the hood really tight around your head so it stays put in windy weather. So thankful that LL Bean makes petite sizes (unlike other big outdoor wear retailers). I'm 5'2" and 135 lbs. The sleeve length is perfect and it's roomy enough for a bulky layer, but I haven't needed one because the jacket is very warm. Very pleased with my purchase.

the coat is warm, comfortable and stylish. Not too bulky to wear when driving.

Old ski jacket was so thick, but this one is lightweight. Absolutely love it.

This jacket is practically perfect in every way! It's warm, looks GREAT on me, and has a comfortable fit. I wish it came in "Tall" sizes, as I could use another 1" in the sleeves (I'm 6' tall).
