I bought this jacket about a year ago. I want so much to like this jacket, but it does not come close to meeting the warmth range which is claimed. Yesterday it was 40 degrees when I left work, and this jacket wasn't nearly warm enough. It definitely has a cold feel to it. When I buy a jacket, I'd like it to keep me warm.

LLBean has been a favorite for many years. Their clothing is usually reputable but this jacket falls short. Ordered a petite medium but sleeves were longer than usual and cuffs were constructed with inexpensive elastic. Needed a nice in-between jacket but for the price I expected more than what was delivered.

Quite a nice fit. Good warmth. Lightweight but has ripped easily -so only two stars. Very delicate fabric. Very disappointed.

Usually love your products. I didn't think this one was up to your standards. The color was darker than the picture and the fabric felt stiff.

I am an average/athletic build, size 8...and this jacket in the small was very tight around the bottom and the medium was huge. The mid section was also pretty bulky and the arms were long. I was disappointed as I was really looking forward to this coat. If you are tall and thin, this is a great jacket! The thickness and feel of the coat were perfect...bummed it didn't work for me!

Salesperson sold me on coat's special high tech material, but I was cold in 40 degree weather. Would never wear without a very heavy sweather.

I needed a dog walking coat. I wanted something easier to manage than the heavy thinsulate jacket I bought from LLBean years ago. I went out today with it. 34 degrees. overcast. light wind. Wearing a hat, scarf, and gloves. Not warm enough. Sending it back and going to try something warmer.

Ordered and returned. It fit well but the shiny material looked horrible. I feel like I had a reflector on. The material could be a mat material I would be interested.

I live in Austin TX & it is usually hot/warm. Today it's 42 & I wore this jacket to the grocery with a turtleneck underneath. The jacket is just not warm!! I'm very disappointed but not surprised as it is thin, thin, thin. Also, I got a Large-Petite, but the sleeves are super long - - unwearable long. The jacket fits except for the far too long sleeves.

Poor quality! Ll Bran used to stand for the best in quality not anymore!

I am disappointed with this. I bought it to be a mid layer for hiking and xc skiing, but it simply isn't warm at all. It doesn't work as an insulating layer, regardless of the base layers, so it does not serve the purpose. I hope to return it.

This jacket is a disappointment. Fit is very good and color is beautiful. Bought for a fall trip to Canada because it was Packable and perfect under a rain jacket. I've worn the jacket 4 times. The zipper is faulty and opens from the bottom after you zip it up.

I bought this a few weeks ago and find that it is no warmer or more useful than a windbreaker. It is a LOT more expensive, however.

I have this jacket from 10 or 12 years ago and I love it. It's a petite large, it fits well and it's held up great. I wanted a fresh one to put in the rotation. I ordered a petite large and the shoulders fit, and the hips fit, but the waist is too tight. I exchanged it for a petite extra large and the coat is way too big overall. So I am out of luck and looking at other brands But not many brands make petites. Please bring back the old fit.

I followed washing instructions for this coat and the down separated inside the lining and it is no longer an insulated coat! Very very disappointed! Can no longer wear! Paid a lot of money for it 2 months agok

"Slightly fitted" means "doesn't fit". I am short, with a middle-aged belly. When you change the cut to be more feminine, less boxy, I can't wear them any more. The waist line of this jacket hit a few inches below My waist line. A Relaxed Fit Petite Large might be an almost fit in the gut, but Slightly Fitted is more than slightly too small and too low waisted. I tried the XL Petite but it was too huge. Sadly, I had to return both of them.

Why does LLB only make primary colors in mens jackets? Women want cherry red too!! These muted colors always look outdated, even when the jacket is new. I like LLB's quality, but please give me something to wear in the cold streets of Boston, Chicago, and NYC when the winter wind whips between the high rises! please and thank you!

This is the 2nd productI've purchased in a Petite size. Disappointed AGAIN. Let me start by saying that Petite does NOT mean fat! Some of us are slim P's. The sleeves are 2' wider than my arm and too long. LL Bean, what do you think it means that we are petite? Our arms are shorter, duh!! I will never purchase from this company again. You should NEVER have sold out and outsourced to another country. This isn't worth the cost.

This jacket arrived and fit really well. I thought it was thin, definitely thinner than past versions, but had hoped that improved technology allowed for thinner weight. Boy was I wrong! The next morning it was 28 degrees. I went out and was back inside in 3 minutes grabbing my old jacket (a competitors version of this jacket). I have fleece warmer than this! It was like wearing a nylon shirt. I returned to the outlet and looked for a warmer jacket. There were so many of these that had been returned and sent to the outlet! The clerk said they were focusing on using sustainable materials. That's great, but it's wasteful if they aren't useful. I ended up ordering a jacket from a different company.

Plus size runs really small. Very light coat for the money. Returning.

Nice jacket but runs a little smaller than your usual sizing.

I loved the color, light blue, and needed a lightweight down jacket and was sooo disappointed at the fit. It was uncomfortably tight across the chest. I should have listened to other reviews that said the same thing. I'm fairly slim, and have never had a jacket that was too snug. I didn't order a larger size because the sleeves and hip area would be too big. Sadly, I returned it.

So thin! There's no way this will keep me warm unless it's 70 degrees. I was shocked that it was so thin. I returned it.

Ordered a size that normally fits me with ease. However this is far too tight across the shoulders and short in the arm length.

Zipper malfunctions zipper is crooked, not in allignment ..difficult to zip Bill Setzer
