Love this jacket, very light and warm. Roomy through the body and nice for layering, but snug in the arms. Part of the lining includes a fleece-like material, which makes it challenging to put on when wearing a sweater or fleece, generating static. Length fits over the hips which is great, but I wish the zipper were two way to relieve pressure on the zipper when sitting in the car. Overall, would recommend and buy again.

Comfortable and warm - soft fleece inside. Not too bulky. Great coat. Would be 5 stars if the hood could be removed or tucked away.

It's a basic winter jacket. It fits great and it's warm. I like that it has a hood. Downside is that there are no internal pockets, just the two zip pockets on the outside, and the fleece lining, although cozy, makes it a little slower getting on and off. Having said this, I do love the coat, the price was great, and I will enjoy wearing it this winter.

Love that the sleeves are long! I have longer arms and always have a hard time finding a coat that fits.

I like it because it's light. However, the feathers stick all over the fleece inside.

This, along with many other things I have purchased recently (within the last five years) is too tight. Its a large, I am not a big person (5'6" and 160 lbs). But every shirt, sweater and jacket is too tight and does not look like a large.

The quality seemed good (as expected from LL Bean), but the color was more dark teal than dark forest, and unfortunately the fleece color in the hood was different enough from the main jacket color to be jarring; it also ran small, which wouldn't work for me as I like having the option to layer. I returned this one.

Fit is too tight around bust line and jacket is difficult to get on due to flannel lining.

I was really excited about this jacket. Overall, it fits great. It's perfect for cold weather. It works great for being at hockey games as well. My 3 stars is that the material picks easily and the feathers inside start poking out. I had it on the first day and somehow the material in back was picked and feathers started to come out. While I'm glad I bought this on sale, it was still a fair price to experience the material being easily picked/torn to have the inner material trying to escape.

It is a nice jacket but not as warm as I thought it would be and I find the sleeves a bit tight across the shoulders.

I've owned this jacket for almost 4 months and worn it at least 50 times. I love the feminine, fitted style. In my opinion there are three design and/or construction flaws. The upper half of the lining is fleece. Down migrates through and sticks to the fleece then transfers to my clothing and makes my darker colored tops look linty or dirty. The down doesn't migrate through the smooth portion of the lining. The fleece extends into the upper sleeve. Clothing tends to catch on the fleece making it a struggle to get my arms through. It would be better if the sleeve lining were entirely smooth. Lastly, there seems to be excess sleeve lining that pops out at the wrist when putting the jacket on. I hate having to fiddle with the sleeve and tuck in the lining every darn time I put the jacket on. These three issues are annoying enough that I'm considering returning the jacket and purchasing the Ultralight 850 Down Hooded Sweater. I've owned that style in the past with no issues.

I'm happy with everything but the fit. I ordered a medium as usual but it is very tight fitting in the waist area. I guess I should have ordered a larger size. I tend to wear sweaters during the winter

Beautiful jacket but the top half of the lining is a flannel-like material which makes it hard to slip arm into when wearing a fleece or wool clothing. Bottom half is polyester which is smooth and silky and would be much better for easy on/off. I returned it.

I bought it a few weeks ago. I had to exchange it a couple of times because sizing issues. I was expecting the quality that I got in my previous purchases. The down is coming out of the jacket. It's very noticeable because is black. So I'm disappointed with the quality.

I ordered a small because previously I had ordered a medium sized but it was too big and had to gift it to someone who would fit her better, so this jacket fit kind of tight, I should have ordered a medium petite

I bought this coat because I was looking for another mid warmth winter coat in green. I bought the 650 fill with the intention to be my other 30- 50 coat. I like color and the dip in the front and back, the sleeve length is fine for me. Im a new Englander so again, I bought this with the understanding this is a mid warmth coat, my heavy winter coat is my Aritizia super puff. Dislikes: I dont like that the sleeves dont have thumbhole cuffs, for the price LL Bean should include them. They are standard on Aritzia and my Columbia. The shell is not water repellent so you have to spray it with scotch guard. As noted in many other reviews, the interior fleece is annoying, they should use a fabric with less cling or remove it entirely, it doesn't seem to add much warmth anyway. All in all, it's a good coat for a chilly sunny day but not good for inclement weather use.

After reaching out to customer service for help deciding about size, M vs L I went with the M but it was too small. And like others had mentioned the fleece inside the upper back made it really hard to get it on and off easily. I returned and didn't get the larger size which would have fit better but would still be hard to get on and off.

It wasn't that cheesy flannel'esque lining, It would be perfect. It does not feel good on your skin at all. Plus, it gets caught up on your clothing. I did size up due to the cinched waist and that was perfect

The green is the most beautiful color. But what was deceptive about the description was, it said fleece lined back and neck for extra warmth. Well, it was fleece lined back and neck AND front AND sleeves half way down. None of the fleece seemed to be attached to the body. The fleece in the sleeves made it particularly hard to put on. At first I thought it was just me any my sensitive fibromyalgia afflicted body, ( I was really aching in my shoulders after the second time it tried it on), but I had my daughter who is the same size as me and is perfectly healthy try it on and she had the same problem! The fleece is too loose and is in the sleeves. Unfortunately I have to reject it and send it back, it's not worth the pain it causes. Honesty in the description would have been great. What's happening at LLBean?

Well made as LLBEAN always is, but runs a little small. I ordered it online and may have exchanged it for a medium but it has NO inside pockets, which is very inconvenient.

The coat itself is great, it's warm and looks good on. The one bad thug is that the arms are too right. I ordered the size I would normally wear and I thought the arms were too tight especially if I was layering underneath. I returned the coat and got a bigger size but it doesn't feel any different. Tha sizing just seems off.
