Plenty warm and fits as advertised. The fleece lining portion will sometimes catch on fabrics when you put the jacket on but that's not too much of a problem. Like the green colour; hood is good. Would give anything to have an inside pocket.

For the price, it is good! It keeps u warm and not heavy.. only downfall, after washing it twice, i'm starting to see the feathers slowly coming out and if you are wearing dark colors it gets stuck on your clothes.

It's not too thin or too thick. Perfect for spring and fall. I just wish it had an inside pocket. I also wish the LL Bean logo on the jacket was stitched instead of ink stamped.

I like the jacket. It is very warm. I normally wear a size 14 but exchanged first large one for extra large so I had some wiggle room as jacket is a bit fitted. In regard to the fleece type lining in the shoulder area other reviewers complained about, if you hold onto your cuff when putting your arm through the sleeve it isn't a problem. It will take a bit to get used to the zipper fastening on opposite side than I am used to. Much nicer zipper than my last down jacket. All in all, I am happy with this purchase. I am sure I will appreciate the attached hood when our Michigan weather turns colder again.

Love the coat. It is warm and the hood is perfect. The only thing is I wish it didn't have fleece lining in the top/shoulders. This makes it harder to put on smoothly over sweaters/hoodies. That is the only negative, but the positives outweigh that.

Beautiful color (green) and fits great. Love the fleece lining! Only thing I would change is swapping the polyester for nylon. Wish I'd seen that earlier.

This is a lovely, warm jacket. My only issue is that when I slide my arms in the sleeves, the lining is pushed to the outside at the wrists. I have to pull on the inside of the shoulder to get the lining back into place.

Bought XL jacket and few weeks ago. Fits well for the most part. I must buy XL to get the sleeves long enough when a company does not offer tall sizing. If there had been a tall L, I would have purchased that size. Sleeves are long but narrow. Jacket in general in narrow. The inside fabric while warm, it doesn't allow the jacket to slide off. It sticks to my shirt and the jacket is harder to get off. Love the green color. It was warm with near 0 degrees. I wish LLBean consistently offered tall sizes. Otherwise, I typically shop elsewhere.

Very warm, pretty, well made jacket, BUT the fleece they put as the lining is HORRIBLE! Makes it difficult to get the jacket on, such a shame because the rest if the jacket is awesome. I purchased the pune color and it is very beautiful!

Looked at this jacket last year at our local outlet. Decided against it, though I loved the color. The fit(L) was a bit off for me...I wanted to layer it. Fast forward to a month ago, I found it(XL) at another outlet for 70% off. Snatched it right up. It is great! I can layer it, cinch it around the bottom. I wear it skiing on a cold, dry day and it is perfect. Cannot beat that price. I will echo the review that thumb gusset are needed, thus the 4 stars. I am 5'7" and 160lbs. XL is roomy. I normally wear a large.

I wish this came in a blue color. I got the black, and it looked awful on me. It's a nice jacket though. Very soft and cozy.

This is a great jacket, and I love the forest green color. I almost always wear a Petite Medium in LL Bean clothes, and this was tight when I wore it over a medium weight sweater. I'm going to return it for a Petite Large.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the fleece inside the coat ruins the experience and makes it difficult to get on and off quickly. The fleece causes a friction with clothing. This would have been a great jacket otherwise. Sad to have to return it. Also, I found the sizing to be a little off. I bought 1X and the waist was too small in this though I have no such problem with other LL Bean items in this size.

Provides warmth without too much weight. I purchased a large since it did not come in tall sizes and the sleeves hit at just the right length. I does fit slightly snug as a women's cut.

This is a lovely jacket. The color green is so vibrant and it's very comfortable to wear. It's perfect for those in between weather times when it's in the 40s, 50s or 60s and rainy. I do notice a feather coming out here and there though so I'm worried about the longevity of the jacket.

The fit is very good , comfortable and the fleece in side the body of the jacket was a surprise. The fleece does not go down the arms so it's much easier taking on and off . I've not worn this jacket in cold temps yet so not sure on the 5 th star ? The color of the inside liner matches the out side color . Important to me . I would recommend this jacket

This puffer jacket is wonderful. It's warm, water resistant, and fits great. I love that it has a hood and zips up high to cover part of my face on a windy day. I only wish that it had an interior pocket.

I really like this jacket but it's slightly fitted. I usually wear a SP but got the S Regular. While the fit is good, there is no room to wear a sweater without it being too snug. So I tried a MP and found the body fit well but the sleeves were way too long so I returned both.

Very good except would prefer nylon lining throughout. Cotton lining in upper half causes long sleeved tops' sleeves to ride up.

I've been loving this coat for a few months now and love it! I do wish there was a way to cinch the hood tighter in windy weather though

Very warm. A little tight in the arms for me and sleeves too long in a large, but did a size change to petite XL and that worked.

Love this jacket. Wish it had a 2-way zipper so it would not bunch up when driving.

This is cut very close so there's no room for a layer underneath, which would have been nice. Zipper pockets on the inside of the jacket would have been very nice. The deep green color is beautiful. When it's zipped all the way up, the neck covers the chin and mouth which is nice. Thank you.

I had to buy a warm jacket with a hood and zippers for a relative in memory care. The jacket had to be a style she always loved - the thinner puffer style; have zippered pockets that will withstand her pulling them up and down constantly (due to her illness); have a roomy hood easy for her to put up and take down; and most importantly, have a lining that wasn't a thick fleece due to sensory issues. We tried more than a few jackets. THIS one ticked off all the boxes. The lining reminds me of a flannel level thickness and it's nice and soft and warm. The zippers? Never become caught and she can even use the main zipper easily with her elderly fingers. The hood is perfect. If you're looking for a tight hood, then this won't work for you, but the hood stayed up on a windy day and kept her ears toasty. And of course, it looks great. It's a 5 star jacket for most but us older folk like a longer jacket. If this model was 6 inches longer, it would be amazing.

Size is smaller than what I usually wear. Did not close totally in front.
