Fits very well and is comfy. Material, stitching, and quality is great. Not quite as heavy of a coat as I expected, but still very warm.

Love this coat-it's warm and stylish! It's the one I grab when I head out the door most days. Perfect for errands or for teaching outside in the school garden. I really like the inner waist cinch-keeps me cozy without any drafts and gives some shape as well.

Immediately noticed the quantity of the zipper. Been pretty sad in other brands. The quality of the fabric and the finish of the garment is great.

Fit is great. Glad the (fake) fur trim can be easily removed.

This coat is beautiful. The material is a nice heavy cotton, gets some added weight and heft/warmth from the quilted lining, heavy enough to be warm but not so heavy that it's bulky. Longer in back, nice coverage, anorak drawstrings to make it a nice shaped flattering fit, pockets with side entry, hooded, not tight in arms. I have never liked a coat as much as I like this one (I got the green - nice medium green - not blue not evergreen). Perfect coat, very solid material and quality of make. I'll be wearing this for years - dressed up or down. Thanks LLBean. Love it.

Fits as expected. I'm 5' 3" around 160. I just got this for Fall. It's comfortable and one of many LL Bean costs/jackets I own.

This coat is very comfortable and warm without being bulky.

I wanted a jacket that was good for those days when the temperature is mild. Not the sub-zero days which are not uncommon in Minnesota, but days when the temperature is in the teens, 20's and 30's. This parka fills the bill nicely. It is perfect for running errands, shopping, going for walks, those times when you are inside shopping, but still wearing a coat. The quality and workmanship is excellent. I don't care for the fake fur around the hood, but fortunately, it zips off. The metal zipper is dependable, and the snaps are there for when you don't want to zip it up. The cuffs have a wrap-around strap that fastens with velcro, so the cuffs can be the size you want them to be. I am 5 ft. tall and the petite size fits perfectly. The arms are not too long and the shoulders are not too wide. This jacket is exactly what I wanted, and to make it even better: lots of pockets including one on the inside that is perfect for a phone.

Not sure where the bad reviews came from, because this coat is amazing! Super cute, keeps me warm on a 10 degree day with only a light layer underneath - without looking or feeling bulky, and very comfy as well. Would definitely recommend, and was planning on buying it in another color, but my size is no longer available.

I bought this for my wife as a Christmas present to replace an older LL Bean field jacket that she wore out. She likes the longer fit that has the same pocket design as her older jacket. With the hood, she said it feels more like a coat than her former jacket. I ordered her a Petite Large which turned out to be a good fit.

The BEST coat I've ever owned! Having a zipper and snap closure allow for versatility. Zippers on the side of the pockets and snap on the top provides versatility with storing items in the pockets. I stored identification and money in the zippered part since I don't need them often and want them secure. Then, stored my phone, gloves, etc. in the snap area since the items can be dropped in and easily pulled upward to retrieve them. The fabric is excellent, and the fit was the best I've experienced in a coat.

Gift for my daughter who loves it. She says it's warm and cozy.

Great for fall weather but you will need a warm fleece vest underneath for colder days. Love the look and all the pockets

I bought a Petite Medium and it fits perfectly. The arms are just the right length and I like the waist drawstring, making it more fitted when I want it

The coat is very warm and comfortable with several pockets to store, phone, keys, gloves, etc., perfect for any type of weather.

Overall, it's a really attractive coat. It's definitely not for winter....it's a great fall / early spring coat. There's not much in terms of padding for anyone thinking this is a solid deep cold pick. Fit is loose but not baggy. I could easily fit a couple of layers sweatshirt under this without being too tight. One con...the outer fabric: everything sticks to it. If you have pets, keep this one in the closet. I'm happy with this purchase.

Love this coat! The snap closure pockets are great as they are nice and roomy for my cell phone and gloves. The quilted lining keeps you warm with just a sweater underneath. Fit is true to size as it gives you room to move. I like that you can unzip the fur and can still use the hood! Definitely recommend this coat!!
