I have a 3/4 length jacket but it doesn't have filling in the arms and lower body. When it's really cold I needed more so ordered this jacket based on reviews. It arrived yesterday and today I wore it in 20 degree weather to test its warmth. I take a 40 minute commuter train ride to get from home to downtown. The trains tend to be cold as vents are open to keep air circulating. Walking to the train stop I felt warm and comfortable so the first test was easily passed. Being on the train I continued to be kept warm on my arms, thighs, knees and body even though it was cold. That was the critical test as I have arthritis in my knee and cold temps make it worse. This jacket solved my issue exceedingly well! My knee didn't hurt while I stayed comfortably warm all over the entire 40 minute ride!

I adore this coat. It is by far the best, warmest, most comfortable coat I have ever owned. I own a Sherpa lined LL Bean robe, and this is like the coat form of that. It is just dreamy. I do not know how I lived so long without it. I like my coats roomy so I can fit bulky sweaters underneath and not have to worry about them tugging while I am driving, and this is a great fit. So many pockets too! I am in love.

I love this jacket. Very warm and cozy. I'm in between a large and an xl and I chose the large and it fits great. The other reviewers are right about the pockets being low. I'm 5'9" and they sit around my hips.

Could not be happier with this coat, the length is great and it keeps me warm in single digit temperatures- would highly recommend.

This coat is SO warm!! Cozy sherpa linining. The fit is relaxed- slightly oversized which I love for layering. Nice big pockets are useful. Zipper is easy to operate. Can't say enough good things about this coat!!

I am pregnant and was in need of a new coat that zipped up from the bottom and also had extra room in the middle in addition to zippers on the side. This coat has it all. I do agree with other reviewers that the sizing does run big as pretty much everything else in the size medium in LLBean I can no longer zip. Hopefully this coat will keep me nice and warm the next few months of my pregnancy!

This is a very warm but lightweight full length coat. The hood really adds to its warmth.

Extra warmth in chest/hood, rain and ice just bead off it. Great for walking my dogs but also for everyday New England living. I just love it.

My daughter loves it! She has a 37 inch chest and hip measurement, and the small fit perfectly. She's 5'7", and the regular length works well for her. I was surprised at how stylish it looks on her. Very good college coat! Navy color is not too dark and looks great with her red hair and skin tone.
