Nice looking vest but the size small was surprisingly big on me. It definitely runs large so suggest sizing down unless you plan to wear a very bulky sweater or sweatshirt underneath.

This is a nice vest, but I would not call it a puffer vest, because it has a thin layer of synthetic insulation, appropriate mainly for indoor wearing. It ran large.

This vest fits great! You can layer it or wear it alone. A little thinner than I had initially thought but still comfortable. Good for spring weather or Fall.

The gold buttons and zipper look quite nice, but from a quality standpoint this vest is lacking. I had bought it to replace a previous LL Bean vest and found that this is a much thinner material that does not provide much warmth. The vest itself is very boxy and quite long for a petite - there was minimal difference between this and the regular.

This vest was baggy in the armpits, a little puffy for me (I'm already overweight), though it did seem to fit me if I added extra layers underneath. The decision truly came in the design of the pockets. I love zipper pockets so my phone will stay put. The snap pockets didn't work for me. I decided to buy a different Bean vest with zip pockets. Vest was well-made and warm.

Nice color. Very thin and light weight. Unlike photo, the waist area is not defined. It is barrel shaped. Not flattering to my figure.

pretty color, but I found the vest not to be very warm unless you are wearing layers. I purchased a large and the armpits were huge, then I returned it in a medium and if I were to wear layers, it would be too tight. Order two sizes and return one or both to save you time and shipping costs if you don't have an LLB card. This vest is best suited for spring and fall.

A nice vest but not warm enough for MN. Vest is thin and wouldn't consider it a puffer. At 40 degrees was still cold so when temp drops further didn't feel it would be helpful. Returned it and ordered the remake of a version from the past.

I received this today and there is nothing to it. By looking at it I'm not sure this will keep me warm but I will wait until I try it and I'll update me review

Attractive vest but I found it to be a bit stiff and too bulky for wearing around the house. For outdoor wear it is great.

This Mountain Classic vest and coat collection runs small. I can typically wear a regular or petite xxs small with LL Bean products, but not in this style. For me it was too tight in the chest. I didn't love it enough to exchange for a larger size. It is thinner than I expected.

I don't like the snap pocket closures. Zippers would be better. Love fabric&color.

I expected it to be thicker, I don't feel like this is classic at all. It's a nice vest but I was looking for something warmer. I've bought vests in the past from LLBean and for the first time, I'm a bit disappointed for quality vs. price.

It's a nice light weight so good indoors, which is what I wanted. However, it's much longer than I expected, which makes it difficult to sit in. I'm also disappointed in the zipper quality; it doesn't run smoothly and catches the fabric half the time.

My vest purchase should have been fine. In the past I have purchased four others in various colors. But this puffer vest had no "puff", no stuffing/insulation, so it was totally flat!! How did that ever pass inspection? I had to return it.

This vest had a very odd fit to it. There was no room built into the design for a woman's breasts. It was styled more for a man's build. I have many tops, hoodies, flannel shirts, and prior vests from LL Bean and I always buy the XL. I have never had a problem, but this vest barely zipped up over my chest with a t-shirt on and yet it was spacious in the midsection and hips. I am only a C cup. Additionally, it was very thin, with hardly any stuffing in it, which would be okay Fall weather but not for Winter here in California. I had to return it.

Ugh - why would I want to wear a Bean label on. my chest or o my back. Sorry I boutght this.

The vest is so thin and fit very poorly. Definitely not worth the money. The worst part is that I had to pay for shipping both ways.n

I thought this product looked and felt cheap. I returned it.

This was so thin and light compared to the last two years' models I bought, definitely will be returning and not very "puffer vest" like!
