It's lightweight but perfectly warm. Love the color and fit.

I was looking for a nice, lightweight vest - and I found it! Although it's been a bit too warm to wear it yet, I know it will get lots of wear this fall with a long-sleeve T or thin sweater in the fall. My last LLBean vest that I purchased YEARS ago finally started to wear; I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find a similar one. Thank you!

I've learned that because of my body proportions (my torso is disproportionately shorter in relation to my entire body height), for this to sit right at the hips, I needed it in Petite. It fits perfectly - does not fit snuggly to my upper body, which is what I wanted, but wears close enough to my body to keep me warm. Great for layering, especially hiking on a crisp morning - where it's cool to start, but as you start moving, things warm up. Love the subtle blue/grey color, too. Great quality - highly recommend.

This was my 4th attempt to get a light weight puffer vest that fits. Bingo! I'm glad I kept trying. A very welcome layer on a skiing trip in March. Love it!

Thank you for advertising this vest as a true to size fit. Other vests that I have purchased from other on-line outlets have not been true to size.

I have already gotten a lot of compliments on this vest, it's nicely made with sturdy material and zipper - looks like it will last a while. The carbon gray color is handsome, it's a good value for the quality, and the fit works well for me. I have a somewhat pear-shaped though active figure, and in the past few years have struggled with vests often being too tight for my hips relative to the rest of the fit. I usually wear between a medium and large as a result, with a large for straight-cut or slim-fitting tops, but the medium fits well in this style. I own a couple of LLBean Primaloft vests, and the fit is similar. The vest has a polished enough look I'd take it traveling or wear it to a casual workplace. It is however not a super warm vest, it's best as light to medium weight mid-layer. I'd consider it a 3-season vest rather than winter vest, but that was what I was looking for so it wouldn't be too hot indoors.

I was looking for a vest to wear over a hoodie in cooler weather, but didn't want anything too bulky or cumbersome. This one exceeded my expectations. Would certainly buy it again and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for the same.

Great vest. Great running vest in cold weather. Gives just enough warmth.

I bought this as a fashion piece to wear under the barn coats that I have purchased. Add a plaid shirt and it's a cute casual look even though the closest I get to a barn is in passing on the highway.

I love this vest! I normally wear a petite medium in LL Bean. This size is a snug fit for my curvy figure with this vest, but I wear thinner layers underneath and this is the fit I was hoping for. I think the large would've been perfect had I needed a little extra room for thicker layers but I prefer a more fitted vest. I LOVE the collar and how it sits up a bit. I may order more colors!

Great fit, somewhat fitted not floppy and wide. I got the tan and it pairs with khakis very nicely. It looks put together and professional. I'm a HomeCare Nurse and wear it to work. It gives me mobility in my arms while working with patients, I often don't have a place to take off my coat. This vest keeps me warm in Northern Michigan and allows me to get my work done. Excellent I will by the black one too!

Well made warm but not too thick so excellent for layering materials were good quality and should get plenty of wear this winter!

A good, comfortable vest. One of the other reviews that said it was a trifle long is correct. Still, it's wearable and seems to be well made.

Warm around the house. Comfortable. Bunches up at my neck when sitting because it is a bit long for me. The old style with a double zipper where I could open the zipper at the bottom when sitting works better for a short girl like me.

I love my mountain classic puffer jacket! The vest, though, seems to be exactly like the jacket but without sleeves. It would be a much more attractive vest if it were a bit fitted, if the seams went diagonally instead of straight across, and if the collar were not so high ... in other words, if it had a bit more style! The weight is wonderful, it's so light, and it's warm, too! It just needs to be more stylish.

Very stylish vest but I found it runs a little bit small, I will have to exchange it for one size up. I like the tasteful LLBean tag on the top, it's very stylish to show the name of a good quality brand. The reason I took one star off is because the pockets should be lined with fleece. This vest has the look of a puffer, but is thin so it is a comfortable, flattering fit and doesn't make you look like the Michelin man!

Quality and styling are great. It runs a bit big though which I didn't expect.

This vest is well made but it wasn't as thick as I wanted. I returned it and received the fleece lined primaloft vest as this will be warmer for our cold Montana winters. The return process was easy.

I'm 5ft 10in tall and weight 155 lbs, wear a 36DD (a little snug in this area). This item is very thin, much more than I expected. However, I live in Texas so it will be fine but I will be using this more so to wear indoors verses outdoors and working out while at the gym. I do like it and will be ordering the other color.
