Jacket is beautiful and very warm. A major issue is NO inside pocket. All jackets and coats should have one.

I prefer an open sleeve with inner sweater cuff,or velcro closure-otherwise
the jacket is very comfortable and warm.

Nice jacket and color. The white fleece lining of the standup collar invites makeup stains (lipstick, sunscreen) Sadly not very practical for frequent wear.

I love these coats so much this year I bought two (One jacket and one coat for dog walking). That being said, as some have said, these are not the warmest coats, but for weather to the mid 30's they're my pick. The fleece lining boosts the warmth factor up a bit, which is why I bought them. the unlined packable jacket isn't warm at all, more like a puffy windbreaker (which I still love). My only wish (minus one star) was that these coats had the same amount of pockets the packable coat does. I LOVE all the pockets on that coat!

This is a very nice jacket. However, it's not really made for winter since it's not really that warm. Additionally, the sleeves are a bit too long. Usually my complaint is that sleeves aren't long enough.

I would prefer it to be less snug. Lining feels nice and soft.

Bought as a house sweater. House is chilly in winter. Close fit. Smooth quilted material slides into coat sleeves without friction. Decent colors. Warm. Double zipper would be nice. It's a little tough to roll up the sleeves when doing dishes but overall very satisfied.

Stylish, Flattering & Comfortable. I'd have given it 5 stars if they had a nice Sage or Forest Green. The lighter colors offered show the dirt quicker when you brush up against cars . Hides the butt when you wear leggings .

I bought this for my Mom. I had to return the size L and buy an XL, which is crazy because she usually wears a medium or a large in everything. When she first wore it, the inside fleece left red residue on her pants. It took a few wearings before it stopped. But she likes it now.

Nice lighter weight jacket. Sleeves are a bit long.
Fleece inside not up to L L BEAN standards.

Very nice light weight jacket. Fits nicely though runs small. Had to size up. Would recommend this jacket

I got the vintage lavender color in XS size, it's very pretty.
It's a light jacket perfect for fall season in California. The length is perfect, also liked the cuff on sleeves.
Overall, it's great.

Agree with others who said this jacket runs small. I bought the PL, which is what I wear in other LL Bean jackets. While the sleeves and length are good, it's a little tighter than I would like across the bust. Keeping it because I bought it on sale and didn't want to pay to ship it back.

Perfect for late fall and early winter moderate temperatures. Seems to run a bit larger than size. But a comfortable feel and attractive color, not a fitted look, but great for layering.

This is the perfect jacket for October. I got a size larger to layer. It seems to be warm, it has not been too cold yet though. I wish it was a little more substantial - especially the lining - seems a little thin and polyester-y.
But I do have a heavier jacket for when it is colder!

Really nice quality jacket but could use a few improvements. I found myself between a large and a medium, leaning towards medium but the armpits and chest were a bit tight. I'm 5'6", 157lbs, medium build. I usually wear a size 8-10. I took a chance and tried the Petite Large and it is a good fit. The previous reviews are correct in that the armpits are too tight, at least in the regular medium. The petite isn't much bigger yet you get a lot more room in that area. The length of the body and arms are maybe an inch shorter between the large petite vs the regular medium, yet you gain an inch more in the arm width at the top and an inch in the width across the chest. It's about a half inch wider at the bottom. Nothing felt to tight or too short.
I would love to see an inside phone pocket, draw strings at the bottom to keep the wind out, a two way zipper and a detachable hood. Draw strings are a huge help, not sure why they were left out.
I love the stretchy sides. I plan to use this at the barn so I'm constantly moving and lifting. The fleece inside will be toasty. I can see why they couldn't add it at the sides and still have it be stretchy. I'm OK with that.

The product is wonderful, as always. However, when I received the mailed package, there were no tags on it, and I found a tic tac in the pocket which indicates that it had been worn.

Warm and comfortable. Perfect length. My only secret wish is that it had a 2-way zipper.

I had high hopes this jacket. Unfortunately, when it arrived, I was very disappointed. The quality of the product was not what I expected. The fleece lining almost looked like it was worn, very cheaply made. This is the second time that Ive purchased a jacket and have been disappointed with the quality. Im not impressed with the quality of L.L. Bean products lately. Its too bad, L.L. Bean used to be my go to store when I wanted quality. I dont have confidence when I place orders now. If I want something,

I am very happy with my new jacket. Its a good fit, the color I wanted, and its actually warmer than I expected it would be when I wear it with a turtle neck sweater. I live in Maine.

I bought this jacket big for upcoming shoulder surgery. Easy to put on (no fleece to slow down my arms), lightweight, comfortable. Great for layering.
I wish it had a light weight fleece or flannel in the pockets -to keep my hands warmer when without mittens). I also wish it had a more tightening toggle /drawstring to close up the bottom of the coat. I also wish there was a hood attached. Don't get me wrong - I really like this jacket. It's just not "complete".

Bought and loved this same jacket several years ago; decided to buy a second one. Surprise! The cut is slightly more shape-fitted now. Since I am medium-tall and high-waisted, the jacket no longer works for me. The more fitted waist does not sit at my waist nor do the hips, so the jacket is too tight in several places. When jacket shoulders are lifted with waist and hips sitting as intended, the jacket does "fit". So, though Medium is the correct size, the fit of this jacket is unfit for certain medium size customers. It is a more dress-like fit than expected in serviceable outerwear and seems a trend at present. Unfortunately, this makes it hard for those with a short or long torso to find outerwear suitable for their quite normal body type. Large is too big overall; not an option.
