Great transitional jacket for fall and early winter. Long enough in the back to cover your bum, but still short and flattering. I highly recommend it!

I read the reviews and decided to go with a medium petite. I am a size regular small in the llbean pullovers, sweatshirts, vests, and sweaters, and an XS in the flannel shirts. This coat is definitely fitted, so keep that in mind when purchasing size. I am right on the cusp with height and weight and am glad I ordered a medium. I wouldn't have been happy with the small. I wonder if I should have ordered a regular medium for length, but then the sleeves might have been too long. I'm going to keep the petite medium. The burgundy color is absolutely beautiful and this coat is one that you will look good in and not like an overstuffed marshmallow which coats sometimes do. I would purchase it again!

Love my new jacket. I wear a 1x and sometimes larger clothes can look frumpy but this jacket is a nice length and is somewhat tailored so makes me feel like I have a shape. It's the perfect weight, not overly warm but warm enough.

This is my new barn coat, at least until the temps drop. I love how it repels the water and washes up ever so nicely. I have washed it once a week for the past 2 months. It's as if your not wearing a coat but your snug and warm as the temps havent dropped but the rains came and it held the damp away. Its just a comfortable jacket/coat! I recommend it!

I have the thinner primaloft jackets which are great for early fall but this is my new fav jacket! It has super soft fleece lining in the body and neck areas but not in the arms so you can slide into it easily. I bought the XS in order to wear a sweater underneath, expecting to wear it in cooler weather (like now in Upstate NY). I love the cinched waist which is flexible and not tight..........very flattering and less bulky. The warmth factor is just perfect, and I am always cold. I bought the navy to wear with jeans and would love to have the burgundy, too!

I was looking for a coat that was heavier than a fleece, but not as bulky as my existing snow/winter coat, and this is perfect. Plenty of room throughout the hips and bust for wearing a sweater underneath. Long enough that it's not drafty around your waist, but still hits at my hips so it doesn't feel too long. Great jacket.

I love this jacket! The contour fitted style is so flattering for those who are short in height. The color is a little darker than what was showing on my desktop screen, however I still like the color. The arms of the jacket are lined- in previous years models they were not - so kudos to Bean for adding the arm lining for extra warmth.

I already have the puffer long coat and wanted something shorter for walking the beach at this time of year. This jacket is perfect, not bulky, but very warm. I love it!!

I bought this for my petite adult daughter. This fit her perfectly and she loves the green color and the quilting. It is warm and not bulky. She has an extremely hard time finding clothing that fits her well and looks adult. I'm so glad I gave this a try.

I love the style, color and weight of this jacket. I purchased in Spruce Pine and it's a little darker then the picture, but it's still beautiful. I love that the cuffs of the jacket are fitted around the wrist so that the cold wind doesn't blow up in them. However, I'm very disappointed that the sleeves are NOT lined with the fleece. I love the jacket so much I'm going to try to find a seamstress to maybe line the sleeves. I highly recommend this jacket.

Coat is a nice simple style, its lightweight but still warm, not bulky, cozy fleece lining, and there is still room for layers underneath. Make sure to find the right fit for you because it is slightly form fitting. I am a regular medium in sweaters and the size large fits perfect.

I bought this jacket for my daughter, thinking it was light pink. I was disappointed when it turned out to be lilac, but she loved it and it looked great on her. It is a perfect fall jacket and she wears it all the time.

I ordered this jacket with some trepidation --worried about the fit. However, I was delighted when it arrived and I tried it on. The fit is perfect -- I couldn't ask for any better. I like the color -pale, rather musky lavender --very much. All in all, this is the most satisfying purchase I've made in a long time.

Wonderful jacket! Just received it and I love it. Fits exactly as it should, and the fleece lining is so cozy! Wanted a warm jacket that wasn't too bulky and this is perfect! I'm very pleased with it!

The jacket is very warm considering how light it is. I can easily wear it in the house as an added layer and it does not feel bulky.

I didn't necessarily need a new winter coat (NC winters), but I couldn't resist the "vintage lavender" color. It's perhaps a little less on the pink spectrum and more on the mauve/gray side. It's still quite lovely and even my dad (who usually reserves his opinions) said that it was a very nice coat and he liked the color. It is very nicely made. I like the slight fit of the coat (not at all boxy) and the lightweight, yet warm and cozy feel of the coat. The inside is so soft and plush. And, I like how the wrists have a nice snug (but, not tight) fit to keep out any cold wind from sweeping up the sleeves. I've not had much opportunity to wear it as it is still mid-70's here, but, I wore it outside this morning when it was 55 and it more than kept me warm. I would highly recommend this coat. And, I've got my eye on the navy blue and the spruce pine colors to add to my coat collection.

This jacket is true to size and for those girls who are bigger up top it is not too tight. Great material, feels light but hopefully will be warm enough for Breckinridge in December

Purchased this jacket in two colors, Carbon Navy and Spruce Pine. Loving my LL Bean purchases. These are beautifully made inside and out. The slightly fitted style usually fits really well, this one was a much closer fit, not sure if that is because of the fleece lining, but because of the quilted stretch sides the closer fit was not a problem. Length is perfect for me approximately two and a half inches below low hip. Shoulders fit perfectly, sleeves are the perfect length. Cuffs are very comfortable. The zippered pockets are a great size and placed in the perfect position for easy access. Love, Love, Love

Loved the way the jacket fit except for one thing. Hated the collar. I like a smaller collar that stands up. The collar on this jacket was too big to stand up. I knew it would drive me crazy so returned it.
