Unfortunately this was tighter than a previous Llbean jacket I bought. For cooler days, I would need to wear a sweater with this and it's too tight. Had to return but ordered another jacket

This is a good lightweight winter jacket for temps here in the 30s or 40s if I use with separate fleece jacket layer underneath. I contacted LL Bean for the exact jacket measurements and ordered a small for 36 bust and 37 hips - fits perfectly, even with an extra layer. Medium would have been too large for me. The lining of this jacket is cozy but fuzzy, even after washing. It can leave fuzzballs on sweaters (like my cat) - but not a big issue. Overall I like the jacket and LL Bean has good customer service, in my experience. Thank you.

My 26 yr old daughter is picky about clothing -- a little boho, a little gothy -- but also always cold. She actually likes this jacket!

For reference, I wear a 16W or 1X in most brands and am 5'7". I tried a 1X on for size in the store and was really surprised at how flat and tight it was across the bust. I needed to size up to 2X to make sure it would fit over my bewbs, even though it is a bit too big everywhere else. Bust darts or gussets would really help give this jacket better shaping for women with average to full busts. The jacket is warm for being so lightweight. It's a great jacket for running errands when you don't want extra bulk, but still need a scarf and hat kind of weather. I wish it had an extra inside pocket or a double zipper up from the bottom. I got the blue and think it's a very pretty neutral color that goes with a lot of outfits.

This is a great jacket. Love the color and the fit. My only disappointment is that it does not have a hood.

Love everything about this jacket. The warm fleece-lined collar, the color and the LL Bean quality, it also has stretch panels on each side for a little give! I gave it 4-stars because it runs small. The sizing at Bean's has been very inconsistent and I find their women's out wear runs small.

Wanted a lightweight jacket that was easy to pack and provide warmth for trip to WY. The jacket fit the bill; however when I put on for the first time I noticed a small rip in the upper arm area. Because noticed while on vacation, there was no time to return.

I love everything about this petite jacket- lightweight, warmth, great fit. I gave it four stars because it needs an inside pocket for my cellphone. I am 5'4 and 138lbs. Size petite M is perfect. Thanks for the petite sizing LL Bean

This jacket is even cuter on than I hoped it would be, slenderizing and flattering. I wish it were a little warmer, but I had room to spare for layering. I highly recommend it and would buy it again. I bought it for a trip to Breckenridge, but will get a lot of use out of it in the southeast where the temperatures are rarely below freezing.

Loved the style. It fits well and is comfortable. Great for those winter days above 32. Below 32 its is not as warm as needed.

Well made, nice quality, but it runs a little small I think. The sleeves were pretty snug, plus they were too short. They didn't come all the way down to my wrists. I also didn't care for the elastic around the sleeve cuffs. I ended up returning it. And they charged me $6.50 to return it.

Comfortable, stylish jacket that is good for warmer winter days. Good that I bought a large so I can put on an extra layer for the colder, windy winter days.

Great jacket, love the color. It is fitted through the waist for a nice silhouette. It was too small though. Had to return it. Larger size unavailable :(

Received my "storm teal" primaloft jacket yesterday. The photo on the website was a pretty shade of dark mint green. This was one of the reasons I bought the coat. The one I I received my jacket yesterday. The jacket I received is a very dark green or teal. Not at all like the photo. It looks a lot like "pine green" I saw in another coat. The coat is fine but I am very disappointed in the color. Trying to decide if I want to keep it.

Nice and light weight. Provides sufficient warmth. Flattering fit just wish it were a tad bit longer.

I purchased the teal color. Love the color, was expecting a bit of a heavier, weight jacket. Very disappointed that it was very small for the size. I have ordered multiple items from LL Bean in the past, always in a size medium. I ordered a size medium this time and it definitely ran small. Have to return it and order Size large. Definitely not true to size

Nice lightweight but warm enough for seasonable Massachusetts weather. Just wish it had a hod.

I love this jacket and it fits me perfectly, but there are a few caveats. First of all, I am 5'4" and 116 pounds, so I'm slender but I'm also full-busted and hipped (if there is such a word). So, often a jacket will fit in the shoulders but then be too tight over the bust, or good over the bust and then falling off my shoulders. In this case the "small/regular" size had sleeves that were at least 1 inch or more too long. I then tried a small/petite (and I virtually never wear petite) and it fit beautifully. It is tailored, which is what I like, but I can also fit a fairly thick sweatshirt under it. [Note: the drop down questions associated with this review did not offer "petite" as a size range, so I had to answer "regular" but it is petite.]
All that said, I got this jacket to be, essentially, a glorified sweater. Something I could wear over a shirt in the spring or fall (indoors or outdoors) and quickly slip off if it warmed up a bit. Using the jacket/sweatshirt combo I have worn it comfortably outside down to 45-50 degrees, but I wouldn't wear it under any colder conditions. By itself I'm not even sure I'd wear it below 55-60. It's perfect for what I wanted it for, but it's not going to be a very warm jacket, if that's what you need. (And if that's what you need, get a real goose down jacket, which is going to cost significantly more than this.)

I really want to like this jacket but I don't think I can get past the disproportionately baggy arms. Color is nice, I like that the jacket is light weight yet cozy from the fleece lining. Undecided if I'm keeping it. I may try it on with some heavier sweaters and see if that makes me feel better about it.

I bough this jacket in a medium for my 83-year old mother, which is the size she usually wears in LL Bean clothing, but the jacket was snug around the middle. We exchanged for a large, which fit better because she can wear a lightweight fleece or sweater underneath. Sleeves are a bit long now but that's okay. She likes the weight of the jacket and the fleece lining. Good jacket for our Northern California winters.

This jacket is comfortable in the material and lining, looks really nice on, and should be perfect for chilly but not really cold weather. However, it runs snug. I mean really snug. You definitely can't fit a light sweater under it. I always wear a L in LLBean (tops, jackets, everything) with plenty of room. This one, in L, is too tight in the chest and abdomen to wear. It LOOKS good, but that's because it's masquerading as a corset! Also, the colors are not good. The Navy has a funny tint - it's gray/blue with a tinge of green. The lavender is very muted - it would be good for a light skinned blonde maybe. The silver is nice, if you look good in a very very light cool gray.

This is a great jacket for the cold then warm days in Colorado. Very lightweight and can double as a dressy jacket when needed. I just wish that it had a hood as my ears always get cold.maybe one that tucks into the collar
