The jacket is a great fit and color. Just needs to be broken in a bit. It's a little stiff. I thought the outer material would be softer.

I liked everything about this jacket except it was a little tight when I had a sweater under it. Then it became uncomfortably tight. I sadly sent it back.

I bought this coat November 2022 but didn't have much chance to wear it and test it out until a recent quick getaway that proved to be a very rainy two days. I wore a lightweight fleece pullover under it in 50+ degree rainy weather and I was warm and comfortable. And the hood proved to be very useful. I ordered a regular and like the overall length but the sleeves are way too long for me, even with the Velcro adjusters, so I just turned the sleeves back and made cuffs. My biggest complaint is that the waterproof material is very crinkly and noisy.

Seemed a bit large (size Medium). However i really liked the jacket so returned it for a Small.

I just got this coat and I'm pleased with the construction and style. Fits a little snug at the hips but I'm glad it doesn't make me look like a line backer as most coats due. I like the features such as the two way zipper and plaid material in collar.

This a very nice looking and well made jacket. However, when the hood is folded and zipped into the collar the collar becomes too bulky and uncomfortable. I sew quite well so I was able to remove the hood and tailor the collar so that it fits better. With this modification I really like the jacket. I would recommend that your company consider a detachable hood that snaps on under the collar.

I haven't worn it in the rain yet, but the jacket is great so far. The sleeves are a little long, but not too bad. Then Velcro straps can be adjusted, which helps. I was debating on whether I needed a Large or an XL to accommodate my larger chest. I went with an XL and am happy with the fit. I'm 5'9", DDDD cup, 195 lbs for reference. My pictures don't do the beautiful green color justice.

A lovely jacket. Sleeve length is a bit long. Other than that it's fine.

Oh, I like the jacket. The only thing I would like it to have included would be an inside pocket.

This jacket is very fitted, anyone who likes a looser fit should go up a size. I purchased a medium, my normal size and I like the way it fits. The sleeves are a little long, my only complaint. This jacket has a light weight flannel lining, which is welcome in our New England weather. It sheds water very well.

I bought this jacket over a year ago and it has been my go-to jacket for spring and autumn days that are a bit rainy and chilly and on very cold days I add my LLBean down sweater jacket for extra warmth. I love the pockets and hardware on this jacket and I love the longer hemline. My only complaint is that the last time I wore this jacket on a short walk with my dog, I felt my upper arms and armpits gradually become wet - and not from sweat! When I got home and took off the jacket I was dismayed to discover that the shoulder areas and armpits and surrounds were wet from the very light rainfall - and my shirt was very damp as a result - but my actual armpits had not been sweating. I was disappointed that a water-resistant jacket had let me down despite the great fit and feel and the well-shaped hood. Now I have to search for a better rain jacket. Other than that, it fits great!

Perfect fit, stylish, great rain jacket. I love the cinched waist, multiple pockets, hood, lining and the exterior material is exactly what I was looking for. I wore it in heavy rain and it kept me dry. I love that LL Bean has the petite size option for us short ladies, so I can get a perfect fit. My one complaint is the color options, especially for the flannel lining. I kept the grey birch color because it had the most attractive flannel lining color/pattern out of all the color options. LL Bean is the capital of flannel, you'd think they could use a more attractive flannel for the lining of this jacket. The other flannel lining options were very masculine and unattractive in my opinion. Also, I would have loved an olive green option in the exterior color of this jacket.

Jacket is just fine but I had to return to get an XLG - I am 5ft. 3 ins & about 155lbs. What would a woman who was 5ft.8ins. order!!!

I truly love this jacket - it's just the right weight for spring and fall, and the water resistant shell works beautifully. The one feature about which I'm not crazy is the double zipper pulls. I'm finding the bottom one routinely gets out of whack and then I have to work for a fair amount of time to get the two zipper pulls back into alignment enough so that I can take the jacket off.

Fits great. Only drawback is the zipper. Since there is a zipper to open from the bottom, the two are hard to fit together.

I ordered this jacket to replace my second old Baxter State Parka - the new ones are quite expensive, and the Mountain Classic Water-Resistant Jacket was much less expensive. However, the Mt Classic Water-Resistant Jacket is very light - the lining is mostly polyester, as the Original Baxter State Parka '82 is mostly wool. It also runs small - this jacket was returned.

I bought this jacket to replace a much older LL Bean one of a similar style. Judging from my original, I ordered a medium, but had to return it for a large for a more comfortable fit. Pluses include a great color, navy, lightweight flannel lining with the inside of the sleeves slick for easy on and off, and lots of pockets. I am disappointed that the chest pockets now use Velcro rather than zippers and they are not deep enough to hold my phone and allow me to Velcro the pocket shut. My other jacket had a hood that would roll up into the collar, but the newer one has a more functional hood. If it's raining that will be an advantage. This jacket has a bit dressier appearance, so I'll save my old one for dog walking and yard work. Overall this was a good purchase.

I like many things about this jacket. It's long, sleeves are long, color is great, zipper is ok when you figure it out (Double zippers are a must, so it's worth the small challenge to get it started.) It holds up great against the wind. My only complaint is the same as others have had. It would be 5*s if the upper body and sleeves were roomier, making layering easier. Designers need to get back to thinking function along with style. I bought a size up hoping that would take care of it. No luck. It limits the heartiness of the layers. Other than that, it's well made.

Fits great and very comfortable. Keeps the weather out and it slight weight. The only thing I don't like is the open pockets are not keep and the opening is too big. It is easy to lose the items in your pockets so must be very careful. Also wish there were pockets inside to keep things safe.

It is just a little difficult to align the zipper properly to pull it up from the bottom; otherwise, I like the jacket very much.

Hoping for a thicker lining. I was wrong. I thought by the photos it had a thicker, warmer lining. My fault. Didn't return it because it still is a nice Spring/Fall all weather jacket. By using different under jackets it can be just right.

I had been searching for a raincoat for almost a year. I love the fit and flannel wool blend inside. However, I did wear this in a summer rainstorm. I stood outside for about 20 min in a moderate downpour and it started to get damp inside. If I had to be outside in extreme weather for a prolonged period of time and wanted to stay dry, I would not recommend this. But for quick dashes in the rain to run errands, sure.

Good length. Don't like fabric. Cold and stiff to touch, how about an anorak made out of fleece only,
Probably buy several in different colors. I live where temps are not too extreme, usually low 20ties to upper 30ties, no extreme like pics in your catalog.8
