Didn't like the way the lower portion went out, probably because of the pockets. Love the style. I returned it and waiting for refund.

I always buy a medium in Bean coats and they are usually perfect for me. This medium fits like it is an XS. I would like to try a large but it seems like that would not be large enough. Such a cute coat. I will be returning it next week. I was excited. Now I am disappointed.

As a pretty fit person, I have wider shoulders and hips but a small midsection. This coat is very thick in the waist so it was pretty unflattering. I wish it had a drawstring in the middle. The material was comfortable but ultimately I returned it.

Not great - was way too small for me - lining very uncomfortable. I gave it to someone else. This is an example of imported workmanship. Disappointed.

Lovely, woodsy shade of brown and a nice "fleecy" feel but I had to send it back :( 1. Zipper did not want to just zip up and I gave it three tries. (Each time it would come off track and take one side of the coat up with it.) 2. The chest felt too tight when I lifted my arms. (I am 36C - 140 lbs.) 3. Sleeves are 2" too short. (I am 5'10")

Not soft. And it's so small. I could barely zip it and it's so tight in the arms. It looks like it's been worn.

I bought this coat with great hopes - it looked so cute on line. However, when it arrived, I found the fleece to be rougher than I expected and the seam that runs across the front, on top of the pockets only accentuated my middle aged tummy. Not for me - returned,

I wanted to love this jacket! I watched it for months to see if it went on sale. When I finally decided to purchase I was so excited. Unfortunately the arm length came just to my wrists. Who wants a winter jacket that doesn't keep their wrists onto hands warm. Most have the built in half gloves. That would have made it for me. But for the price I will be returning. I needed to love it to spend that much.

Apparently the manufacturer of this garment does not realize that women have breasts. And the fleece is really tacky.

Love a tunic full zip fleece from the beloved sweater fleece, sadly no longer available, to this new style. This version, however, is quite bulky which is why I'm returning it, besides the fact the medium runs small and the large was huge. Sizing is off.

This coat just looked awfuL but I am eager to buy something I Love at LL Bean,-it's such a First Rate company.I know with my next purchase I will hit it exactly right and will be rating it 5 star.I didn't like the overall cut of the coat.The Waist was too Large.

Sleeves are short not for tall women. Did not like the color.

I bought this coat/jacket in the creme color in a size large. I am 5'5" and 157 lbs. I am afraid that I will be returning it because it doesn't meet expectations on a few fronts. First, the sleeves are too snug, making wearing a substantial sweater underneath difficult. The New York City cold just seeps in through the broad seams in the unlined sleeves, so ultimately, although the item "looks warm" it really isn't. Second, the coat does not drape well and has a tendency to bunch up in the back along the waist area. Third, the coat is cumbersome to put on -- especially because the zipper tends to catch on the fleece. So, even though I received a few compliments from neighbors on the item when I took it on a trial wear, it really is not up to the quality and comfort that I have come to expect from LL Bean. Sadly, back to the drawing board for me!

Coat runs 2 sizes small. Returned immediately. Awaiting LLBean refund/response.

It is not nearly as warm/wind resistant as I thought it would be. The cold air just comes straight through. The one thing I do LOVE is the length. But thats it.

Coat did not fit appropriately. The sleeves were small but the bottom was very large.

I didn't like for meI felt like a Goodyear blimp! I think it would be great for women who don't need plus sizes.

I was disappointed that the size I needed felt too small and confining. The product was returned to LL Bean.

This coat is very cute and the fit is flattering, though that's as far as it goes. A light Breeze goes right through the coat and if it's windy? Forget it - not at all warm!

I really wanted to love this coat, looks cute on the site and even in person on a hanger. When I tried it on it just felt wrong and awkward and not as warm as advertised. I ended up not buying it and then I received it for a Xmas present. So I'm stuck with it and want to love it but I can't. I use it for dog walking. It just fits awkward and isn't flattering at all. Waste of $150 for a dog walking coat.

Very stiff. Not soft at all. Expected this to be soft but it is not.

This is the second item of outerwear I've bought from LL Bean in the last couple of months where the arms were very small and the body was TTS. I couldn't even get the arms over a thin sweater - I do not have broad shoulders. The sleeves were very skinny. I am a size small in clothing and I order medium sized outerwear so I can fit it over a sweater - which is exactly what I did with this jacket, and this was way too small. The shoulders were in the correct place though, so I can't size up to a large because the shoulders seam will sag off on the sides of my shoulders. The workmanship of the fleece jacket otherwise was beautiful and I loved the soft interior, as well as the coffee color. I am sad to have to return it.

I wanted something soft, warm and cozy. The feel of the outside was like an old carpet and the wasn't even where this jacket lost me. The inside was so stiff and not the material I was expecting. It was thick, scratchy and had no give. I'm pretty disappointed. Had the right materials been used, this could have been amazing. I'm not one to return something right out of the package... I understand how a material wears and a stiff canvas shoe doesn't scare me, but I saw very little potential for this.
