this coat has a weird fit as someone mentioned. It does not fit like it looks in the picture. I should have bought the xxs probably but i would not because the inside feels stiff and the sleeves look awful on my skinny arms. Petite sizes dont help at all. The chest is the same in petite as it is in regular. So how is it petite?

This item regularly popped up in advertisements on my social media feeds. I loved it and thought it'd be perfect for fall in New England. I wasn't sure what size and decided on my regular size (medium). Sadly it was a tad too big and the coat in general was just too much material, too bulky and long. A smaller size would've been too snug in the midsection when zipped. Overall unflattering on me. It's a little pricey, but it would've been justifiable if it fit and flattered.Great quality!

I wanted to like this coat as it was very cozy and warm ; however, it was very unflattering to my figure and made my hips and chest looked even larger than they already are. It could benefit from a waist-cincher.

I love the look of this jacket and the price on sale was right (especially compared to another competitors jacket that is very similar). The color is great (I got the cream) and it seems really well made, unfortunately the weight of it was too heavy and it just wouldn't work for the season I wanted it for. I agree with another reviewer that the lining felt rigid and also that the arm length is a little short.

I like the coat on the model as it looked as if the feminine shape/ cut would work with my bodytype. I have an hourglass full figure. It added pounds on frame with thickness / pile of the fleece. Coat is well made and looks quality and is warm but my opinion is that it would only flatter a woman sized small.

I would have loved this warm coat but it's too wide at the bottom so it looks like a triangle. It does not look like the picture.

When you are wearing this with a very thin sweater or tee shirt the fit is true to size. Even though the material on the outside looks like a cozy fleece and the blue/orange is so cute, the material inside is very thick and rigid. I was surprised - it does not have much give so it really fits in the shoulder area. The material inside the coat does not seem breathable and it has a slick feel, because of the climate where we live I decided to return. The climate here is to humid for the thickness of this coat.

Beautiful coat but the fit was not consistent with my usual LLBean orders in the past. Sleeves were a tad short and the bottom part of the coat had too much bulkiness. Loved the material of the mountain pile fleece but this one just didn't hit the mark. Returned and refunded.

This long fleece was not soft to the touch. In fact, I it seemed rather stiff for a fleece. The lining appeared to be cotton and caused friction when putting it on and taking it off. I really wanted to like it, but had to return it.

This fleece coat is warm, cozy, with deep pockets that hold your car keys safely. It is wind resistant and the hood is warm and does not smash your hairstyle. However, the zipper is beyond bad. Unless you line it up perfectly, it jams. I have had it for years; but, rarely zipped it; after our cold winter, I am ready to give it away due to its TERRIBLE ZIPPER!!

Really wanted to love this jacket. But it had a strange shape in the lower section that really stuck out at the sides. The interior is a stiffer material than I expected and the hood was huge.

Did not fit well. It was tight across the ribcage and seemed too long. Sleeves were too long. I loved the color and style from the pictures. It just did not fit right.

Unfortunately I returned this coat for refund. I ordered size Medium even though measurements said I should order a Small. It was too tight across the shoulders, and the bottom half was really wide. I didn't reorder.

I wear a Pxxs in LLbean coats. I was so happy this came in Petite sizes as I'm 5'2" 100 lbs. This coat is sized tight in the shoulders and the chest. I'm in a cold climate and I layer if I'm not going to be outside for a long period. I thought this would be great for an in-between coat but I can't wear a sweater with this, just a tee shirt, so I can't layer. Also, the top of the hood is unusually large at the top of my head. Great potential!

I love llbeans quality, this didn't hold up. The fabric was like another reviewer said "dog beddish" it wasn't soft. The fit wasn't flattering. I returned it. I'm 5' 120 the small did fit with room for a sweater underneath.

This looks deceptively warm but the wind goes right through it. The fabric on the inside is knot very comfortable either. I don't recommend jt if you're looking for a warm, cozy fall coat.

Loved the cozy look of this jacket! I'd expected this piece to have a bit of give to the fabric, but found it rather stiff with no give. Wasn't comfortable when I bent my arms as I worked when driving. Sadly, returned it.

Didn't care for the coat, as the color wasn't mauve but more of a purple. Like the other reviewers stated, the lining was too stiff. It also looked a bit long on my mom who's 5'3". We had to return it. However, I have ordered other things from Land's End that were fine. This just wasn't.

I love the design of this fleece: the color,the length is great as is the depth of the pockets. Well sewn as is most LL Bean merchandise. However, it has a major sticking point for me. The fleece itself has a backing of really heavy almost neoprene lining that is directly attached to the fleece. It is extremely heavy and cumbersome to wear is not warm and cozy which was what I was expecting Also, it is not their usual sizing. I am normally small to medium and this runs snug . I am so disappointed in this and will be returning it

I have the Women's Bean's Sherpa Fleece Coat, which i LOVE. I thought this coat was the same except it has a hood. It's not. The lining is stiff and uncomfortable. Very disappointed.

The coat was too stiff. It stood away from my body. The lining was uncomfortable as well. For the money, I expected better. I returned it.

This coat is NOT good for any windy day even light wind. You should NEVER wear this when it is a windy day. Every possible wind comes to your entire body. That is how you will feel. It is very stiff and not soft at all. That is okay. The coat is cute but you look sometimes funny because of textile (too stiff).

Loved the color and quality of this jacket. Unfortunately, the proportions are way off. The top half fit but the bottom half was way too big and ballooned way out. Not what I expected from the pictures. I am 5'4", 116 lbs ordered size XS. I have never had this problem with other jackets.

I bought this about a month ago. I was excited to wear it for Christmas but it was small. It wouldn't meet in my bust.area. It was pretty but I wish the lining was better.

Cute fuzzy jacket - the green is a nice color! Unfortunately the lining is that sponge type of insulator that is nonbreathable and claustrophobic. Back it went.
