Product would have been nice, but sleeves were way too tight and I sized up - to better accommodate wearing a sweater underneath. No room

The jacket fit beautifully but the sleeves were to tight. I put it on with a T-shirt on and the sleeves were so uncomfortable that I couldn't wait to take it off.

The inside is patch-worked together and was not comfortable. It was also very roomy, almost like a sack. I returned it.

It's ok, but I wish it felt a little more cozy. Now that I own it, I wish I had purchased the shorter one. Just being honest.

Nice quality and warm but poor fit. It is constricting and tight across the shoulders. Medium on a 5'2" height, 130 lbs. frame

The coat itself is wonderful, soft and cozy, but what good is it if the zipper is broken !? I sent it back for a refund. For as much as it cost there should not be anything wrong with it.

The outer fleece isn't soft at all. It feels very rough and fuzzies fly everywhere. Quite disappointed with the fleece quality. Inner layer is thick enough to keep warm.

Overall the coat is great. Some how the logo was stitched on upside down. Tried to contact costumer service but they claimed the only available color was the brown. But shows otherwise online. Feel quite silly wearing it now and would just cut the logo off but fear that will damage the coat . All in all great coat but just sitting now that Ive had to explain multiple times to strangers why the logo is upside down.

Not very happy. Looks much fluffier (Sherpa) in the picture. The inside is unfinished with seams showing. Looks much better in the picture than in person, it is warm though.

This coat is well made but the sizing is way off. I always buy medium mock neck tops from LL Bean so why would a woman's fleece coat in size Large be too small, beats me. I guess that's what happens when clothing is made overseas. Absolutely too tight in the shoulders. Very disappointed and will be returning it.

I like everything about the coat except zipper. Came apart at the bottom, is now jammed so I must return for a replacement. Unable to try it on!

The coat was not at all what I expected. It stiff was stiff & spongy. Not at all what I think llbean represents.

It fits small in places and huge in places. Why do they think plus sizes have "average" upper arms (it's tight there) and are shaped like a bell? Fits ok on top, and stomach, bottom flares out 2 extra sizes and side view of me looks ridiculous. Next smaller size would be too tight everywhere but around bottom. I thought this would be a good warm alternative to a down jacket. Lined with neoprene, smooth, does have some give. Sherpa is really not very thick at all but I look like a bear in this coat. Sadly ( because I thought it'd be so cozy) and for this high price, I will return. LLBean- in your photos of models wearing clothing items, do side views also.

Not as expected; very odd fit. Long and shapeless...tight across the shoulders with uncomfortable lining. Ordered two sizes and ended up returning both.

Runs large and long. The inside was already pilling when it arrived. I'm 5'6" and typically a M and this was quite roomy.

Way too small and fleece looked crushed. Not up to LL Bean's usually very high standards.

Runs really small and you have to pay to return it. I even ordered up in size and it runs way too small in the back and arms.

Weird fit through the shoulders and sleeves are too short. My proportions are average and I don't normally have trouble with the way coats fit but this one went back.

It is very cute on the outside, but the lining is a hot mess, or rather, there is no lining. The inside of this jacket is a cheap polyester fabric that is itchy, and all of the intricate stitching of the pieces of the jacket together was accomplished by a zigzag satin stitch done on the outside of the coat with the " bobbin " side directly through to the inside, and that stitching is itchy, too. I know the description of this jacket says it is meant for light layering, so what that means in practice is that you can feel all the interior stitching when all you are wearing is a pair of leggings and a turtleneck. Also, I own a lot of LL Bean clothes, and as a 5"3" 120 lb gal, I usually get a medium for a large roomy fit. This jacket also runs small through the hips, so I would have needed a large to achieve the same fit. The manufacturer needed to add an actual soft lining ( flannel? ) to protect the wearer from the weird fabric/stitching & size it the same as most LLBean apparel.

Other reviews mentioned how warm this coat is. I wore it outside today, 52 degrees with light breeze. For me, this coat is not warm. I was chilled and I was wearing three light layers. Admittedly, I do have a hard time staying warm. I normally wear a medium but ordered a large in anticipation of wearing a layer underneath. In the chest area, the coat was large enough to allow a medium weight layer although the sleeves were tight and would not allow an extra, medium weight layer. The lower section of the coat was tight. I am over 60 and I am not shaped like a stick. The cut of this coat is better suited to a thinner, trimmer person - not a person with curves of any kind. I will be returning it. I have found that the Hi-Pile Fleece product is much warmer than this product but it does not come in a coat style.

The inner lining is rough to the touch and the coat is stiff. Not the quality I have come to expect from LL Bean
