I really like this coat overall. It provides the warmth and protection from the elements that I need in Northern Michigan. The sleeves were too long even though I ordered a petite and the zipper does not operate as smoothly as I expected from LL Bean and for the price. I think I will have to have it replaced long before the coat wears out; otherwise, I would give it a 5-star.

This is a warm and cozy jacket. I spend a lot of time around the ice rink and this jacket works for when its not Minnesota winter temperatures outside and you are active. I'm 5'2" ,125lbs and got the petite XS but the sleeves are too long. Even with a sweat shirt under it, there's a lot of room. I should probably have got the xxs but the shoulders fit just right on the XS and I'm afraid the XXS would be too tight round the shoulders. I'm making do because the store does not carry petite sizes and I was too lazy to return it yet again after having bought the petite small first. (returns by mail are not free). It is cozy though and the pockets are very deep.

Loved the color and the warmth. I am 5'7" and usually wear a size 6 so ordered the small. The arms and shoulders were tight so I opted to order a medium. A bit big, but not tight so I had to return the small and pay for the return. I think worth the added money.

I have the vest version of this jacket, and I am in absolute love with it, so I got this jacket. Unfortunately for me, they're a little different - but it might be fine for you. This has a lining/ coating on the inside of it that the vest does not. This would make it warmer and more wind resistant, but it also makes it less breathable. I wore this to work yesterday and that lining makes me go from cool to too warm and clammy on a short commute in my car. Something like wool just keeps me cozy without getting too warm and clammy. I do not like synthetics and I stay away from them whenever possible. Sometimes they're ok, particularly with fleece. The vest was a great choice and I thought this would be the same. I sized up and got this in a L, based on reviews and so I could layer bulky things underneath it - like the vest that's in this style, which is quite bulky. This jacket is too big for me in an L, and roomy enough that a M might have been ok for layering. But I think I'll probably just return it and not get another one, sadly. I really need a spring jacket but I think I'll have to get something else. It does look great. I got it in the pink color, which is unusual for me, but it is pretty and I got complimented on it (by a male colleague) as soon as I walked into my office. The only other options were white or black and I don't want either of those.

I love the color, nice fit. But for cold winter in Wisconsin is not good. The inside fabric is no really warm .

I love this coat but I'd rather it be a bit more loose fitting. It's so comfortable , great quality and a very good weight. I wear a medium to large and even the large is more form fitting but i like my clothes to be looser. I love it so much I would buy another in a different color to have more of them.

Nice but didn't fit, so it was returned. The cut was slim, and I needed a fuller cut. Liked the fabric and 2-way zipper.

So cute and cozy, and very warm! I did feel the cut was a bit odd, a little too ample in the lower half (I would have preferred the A-line to not be so wide and the base.

Great length and weight for wearing over workout clothes

It's soft, it's cozy, it's well constructed and it covers the bum! What's not to like? I did, however, end up returning becuase I'm just not quite sure how much I'll use it. It's not warm enough to be a full winter coat, but it's too warm and long to be a light active piece--just a funny in-between-er that I don't think I'll use that much except for 3 days in spring and 3 days in fall when temps hit the "brisk" mark but before the "hello frost" mark.

One sleeve was longer than the other, but I had to get them hemmed a little anyway. However even after they were hemmed the sleeves are just off. It's just a light jacket for running around anyway

It has a nice backing to the fleece that gives it some weight and warmth. It is a nice length, perfect for wearing over scrubs on the way into work as it provides more coverage than waist length coats and is comfortable for drive in. I can wear this coat into the low 30's and stay warm. I love how it is slightly fitted and the arms are long for me.

Gift for mom. She loved it! I think i want one too

This came yesterday in the mail. I packaged it up to send back ( I tried it on with a sweater). Today I opened it up and tried again. I'm keeping it. I would not pay full price, but it is cute. I wear mostly a 14, and the large is what I bought.

Coat was great except it ran a little small. Went to reorder and color no longer available. Very disappointed.

Very warm and cute. Sleeves are a little snug fitting. Can only wear a long sleeve t-shirt or very thin sweater under it. Kept me in cozy warmth in an ice storm.

Great length and I love how it gives me a nice seal from cold air when its zipped all the way up. I wish there was a little more fur on the inside for more warmth and the outside was a bit softer. I wore it layered with another fleece zippered sweater underneath and it kept me nice and toasty in 40 degree weather, but I wish it had that extra layering so I wouldn't have to worry. The inside is just a cloth to give it a nice finished look, but doesn't add to the warmth. This is a nice in-between jacket or perfect if you intended to layer anyway.

Keep in mind that this coat is cozy but body fitting. I think the lining is the cause, but I like having the extra protection. I wish I would of ordered a size up. I l love the double zipper.

Received this jacket as a gift and I love it! The fit is perfect and it's very comfortable. Perfect for days at the ice rink with my boys!

I bought this as a gift for my wife. She loves it. It's very warm and comfortable. According to her, the only thing missing is an inside pocket.

This coat was on my wish list for a long time, so when it went on sale I ordered one for myself and one for my sister, using rewards points towards the purchase. When it arrived I was slightly disappointed that it was thinner than I expected, and not especially soft for fleece. But the Medium did fit perfectly, so I kept it, and having a mid weight hooded coat to wear in rainy December weather has been really nice. My sister's was a little small, and she felt the next size up would be too big, so I returned hers. I was disappointed to learn that my rewards points I used were lost. Other retailers reissue the rewards or credit the points to your account, making LL Bean a less appealing option for online shopping.

I would have given this jacket 5 stars except for the fact that there's no snap or tie on the hood and it can't be tightened enough to keep wind out.

Not as soft as expected and the sleeves were too tight.

The usual high quality one expects from LL Bean products. Was disappointed that the fleece was not double sided. Returned.

Love this jacket it's very well made and would be so cozy, but it is too tight in the bust and too large in the hips for me.
