I loved this jacket - simple, lightweight, hood is a plus. I typically wear a 20W, am Pear shape and ordered the 2x. It fit great everywhere but was a bit snug around my hips. I was able to zip it but would not have been able to wear a sweater underneath. I returned for a 3x.

It's a gorgeous coat and very comfortable and I will keep it but if you live in really cold climates this is not the coat for you. It will work for me OK with a layer underneath until bitter cold hits and I do have other coats for below zero. So gorgeous coat but not as stuffed with down as it appears in photo.

Nice jacket but not as nice as the one from two years ago! This one is to bulky!

The sleeves are a bit too long. We haven't had a very cold winter so I can't really judge how it is in true winter weather. I love the color and love having a hood without fake fur!! I would probably rate it 4.5 because of the sleeves

Very comfortable. Warm. Lightweight. Waterproof. However for this price: Only one inside pocket. Would be nice to have another with zipper. Jacket zipper is not 2 way. No inner sleeve wind protectors.

The color is fabulous the weight light the only thing is the hood does not tuck away or come off.

Very comfortable and fits great. I have the green colored coat. I would have given it 5 stars but I've found that it staines easily.

This is the 2nd time I am posting this review because it's been a month and my review is yet to be published. The "Dark Red" color name is the worst choice name ever. Who was in charge of this? I expected a rich red, but it's just about the brightest shade red it could possibly be! Oh well. Not worth the hassle of a return. Plus the quality of the jacket and the fir is super.

Very lightweight but warm . The fit is too big but as this is to be my emergency jacket for my car it's OK otherwise I would have returned it . The sleeves are nice and long which I like but they are quite baggy, again, OK for an extra jacket. I'd order down a size. I do overall really like the jacket

I have only worn this jacket 3 times since I purchased it but I'm very happy so far. The material is very soft and light weight. It is amazing that such a light weight jacket keeps you warm. Love that it is down-filled, has a hood that is not bulky, the sleeves are the right length and they are fitted. The bottom of the jacket is kind of wide but it has drawstrings to pull it tight to keep the wind out. I have gotten several compliments on the green color!! I do have a question for LLBean. In one pocket is a zipper that says STOW but no explanation what it is for or how to use it?? I did purchase this jacket for a trip we will be taking and I was hoping it would pack easily without taking up much space. It definitely will do that!

I bought this coat several years ago to be my dog walking coat. It is very warm but because it has black fabric on the inside and the red fabric is kind of thin it looks dirty everywhere there is stitching.

I am a petite medium, I couldn't close the coat to zip it. There was too much of a distance between the two sides for it to be a matter of a return for the next size.

Bought this jacket solely because it was on sale so had to serried for orange color. The full price is almost $300 which is far too expensive.

Good design. Nice hood. On the other hand, this parka is made with a very thing nylon fabric. I kept it but had a seamstress put cordura "cuffs" put on the arms from the wrist to just above elbows. Much better and will last longer. Had I not done this, I suspect this jacket would have lasted about one season. The fabric needs to be a more durable nylon.

Its not as warm as I anticipated. Not sure that it will be sufficient when I travel to colder climatess.

I wanted an upgrade, but the new XS is considerably larger than the one I bought 10 years ago, and not a true XS. It is baggy throughout the entire body (especially in front), and wide in the shoulders. Not athletically inspired anymore. I will return the new one and wear my old XS until it falls apart or I find a suitable replacement. For reference, the jacket is 11 years old, and I have been purchasing LLBean products since I was a teenager.

Very lightweight and comfortable. However, not as warm as other coats from this similar style.

The jacket is what I wanted. I did know it was going to cost me, but I didn't realize that the quality of the zipper would be so cheaply made for the amount of money I paid. The jacket I was replaced fit perfect. Size medium. I had to get an extra large to replace. I guess Bean sizes for elf's sizes.

Overall this is a nice stylish warm coat. I am disappointed with the purchase due to the stitching on the left upper arm. The stitching is tight appears to have been double stitched. I will be returning the coat.

I have this jacket in the un-hooded version from three winters ago and have loved it. I wanted a hood, so ordered this in the Petite Small. While it fit well in the body and the length was fine for my 5 foot frame, the sleeves were way too long. I agree with another reviewer that they are too long for a petite and loose fitting in the wrist area. There is no mechanism to cinch them for a tighter fit. Unfortunately, I cannot justify the cost for a jacket that doesn't have a great fit, so will return it. I did get the dark red and it is a very nice deep shade of red. Overall, it feels a little thinner and lighter than my old jacket

The jacket is well made but the sleeves were so long! I had to return it.

Disappointed by the lining! I wanted to like it but I don't know who decided to use navy blue or black as lining on a yellow jacket. It looks as if the color bled through especially at the seams. The jacket looks stained. I'm not sure how it passed quality control.

Three years ago, I bought this same jacket, plum color but without a hood. It's toasty warm, love it very much. This year, I decided to purchase the same jacket in blue and with a hood. When the jacket came, I noticed that the down filling of the jacket was thinner and seemed flimsy. Disappointed

Beautiful gold color for sure but very thin (not the warmest) runs large, and changed color in creases after one time of wrapping around my waste. For the money I was disappointed.

Lovely color and fabric, but arms are too snug, as is the body. i always purchase 2x and it is a perfect fit, but yours are too snug.
