I am an older lady and somwhat hippy. I ordered up, and the fit is perfect. I live in the south so do not want a really heavy raincoat. The sleaves are a little long, but the velcro compensates.

It had mixed reviews so I was hesitant to order it but I like LLB raincoats and wanted another one

So happy with this purchase. Waterproof, lightweight, and perfect length. Would like some "fun" colors, however for a future purchase.

Going to Scotland in September. Wanted this to proceed me from the weather while on tour. It's perfect.

The first coat came from a friend who not did give me or kept her receipt. I worn it out. Loved this coat so much that I searched and checked the LLBean listing until I finally found one and purchased a new one immediately without any hesitation whatsoever. It fits very well and I have received numerous compliments on it. I had such a hard time finding a full length raincoat. Love it!

This jacket is hands down better than any of the other brands I have tried! The length keeps me warm & dry during the rain, so I can still take my walks. Pockets are deep & have zippers, size is right on! I LOVE THIS COAT! Thanks LL Bean! You are literally THE BEST!

This is the 4th one I've bought. I guess that tells you something. I had an issue with the sizing of my latest purchase. I originally ordered it in L as I previously had, but found it a bit skimpy compared to my others. I reordered the XL & am perfectly satisfied. My suggestion is, you might want to move a size up

I love this raincoat! I had one like it for 10 years and finally it started to fail as a raincoat. My only complaint is that you don't offer the fun colors that you used to. My old one was a beautiful turquoise.

I love that it's knee length. It is lightweight but keeps me dry. it is a little big but I bought it that way so I can layer in the winter

I perform field work (stream/forest preserve) for local watershed and preserve. I needed solid rain gear that would keep me dry while giving me enough room to bend, stretch, twist and stay covered. Initially I purchased a xs but it was too tight to wear over a few layers. XS would have been a perfect fit with regular clothing for sightseeing or general urban activities. LLB Exchange was easy. Small was the bigger size I needed to wear layers. It has plenty of pockets to keep some items I normally store in my backpack and need immediately at hand. Wore it on a very rainy day while performing stream reporting activities and hood protected my eyeglasses and I was totally protected (feet were protected by LLB mucs!). Although this will be larger than I need when I wear it in the spring - I will still be well-protected! It is perfect functional clothing. Zipper comes up from bottom as well so it works when you get in the car or sit. I've read other reviews that describe the zipper as "testy." I didn't find that to be the case with my trail rain coat.

I needed a good rain coat for the cold rainy seasons in Wisconsin. This coat works great. It's roomy enough for heavier layers and the length is perfect falling just above the knee. It also blocks the wind that comes with the rain. I can put it over my work clothes when I have to run outside and I'm able to move my arms without it binding or feeling too tight in the shoulders. Yet it has a nice slim silhouette and looks good on. And the sleeves are long. I have broad shoulders and long arms, finding coats/jackets that fit the shoulders usually has me buying a larger size. I didn't have to that this time. Shoulders and upper back are roomy and sleeves are long enough to keep the rain out. Perfect fit on this coat. And the arms, especially the upper arm area, is roomy also. This coat seems to be well made. Thank you LLBean for providing great fit, style, and practicality in a woman's garment. It's hard to find those 3 qualities in one item in women's apparel.

I have had an LL Bean raincoat for several years but decided to treat myself to a new one. This one is much lighter weight yet still gives me the same protection. I really like it and highly recommend it.

I've bough three of these. One for myself, and two for friends because I like them so much. You can ball the coat up and leave it in the car and the wrinkles fall out soon after putting it on! Also, I have three dogs and the doghair falls off. I buy a size up because I layer for the weather. It's a clothing staple!

I love this jacket! This is my second rain jacket with LL Bean and I'm so impressed! I purchased this one for my trip to Europe this fall (my first jacket is a lime green so wanted something a little more versatile colour wise) and was so thankful I did! It survived rainy, wet London no problem! I stayed dry, didn't get damp or the warm/wet feeling most "rain" jackets give you. The fit is really great, for being a tall woman its definitely long enough, gives a nice frame with the back being a little longer and fits well around the waist with the option to pull it in giving a flattering figure. Sleeve length is great too. Also the hood, major key in my books, long enough it doesn't keep pulling up while walking- stays down and keeps you and your hair dry! Totally recommend the jacket to anyone! Received a lot of compliments on the fit!

I wore the coat for the first time yesterday to be prepared for expected rain. I love everything about the coat.. including the Velcro closures, the zippered pockets, the length, etc. Altho it fit perfectly (not snug), I would have preferred a little more room, so I say 4.5 stars.

Perfect! Sized just right, sleeves right length. Love the length and the hood covers well without falling down.

I tried on the xs reg. & the xs petite. For me being really petite, the xs petite was a perfect fit. Good length for the arms & length of coat. This is my 3rd trail model rain coat & I still have the 1st two coats. Both are several years old & 1 is the 1st Bean rain coat I tried out. (This coat is not in the best of shape anymore) I can tell the new coat has many improvements. I like them & keep coming back for more because they are so light weight. Living in FL, you need that. I use them for pet sitting, walking dogs, etc. I own horses & these coats have been a life saver. My husband has a trail model rain coat too. So yeah, I would recommend to a friend!

I bought this to take to Brittany and was glad I did. I wore it over a cable sweater many days. Fit well. Good length. Packed small. Was a little sweaty inside when worn without long sleeves underneath.

I love the rain coat. its very comfortable. I like having a longer coat to keep my legs dry. also I like that it zips both ways, being a longer coat that is very handy. With all the rain that we have been having I am extremely glad I have purchased this coat.

I bought this in a petite medium to fit over an ultralight down coat which is thigh length ( also from LLBean). It is the perfect length...fits right at the knees and completely covers the coat.. I have not worn it yet...plan to use it mostly when I travel overseas. But I like the style, the color (blue..which is almost same color as coat), and that it has zippered pockets. Pockets are a bit low but other than that I think it is going to be perfect especially if you want to travel light... and you can just throw it in a backpack.Oh, has two way zipper. Velcro does not seem to bother clothing...like a scarf you might be wearing.

While I have not tested this raincoat in the rain, I really like how lightweight it is and how small it can be folded up. I want it especially for football games where it may have to go over a heavy coat and buying one size larger allows that to happen. I already own the LL Bean rain pants and they are truly waterproof.

I purchased the small petite. It fits perfectly. I love the coat, I find it very stylish as well as protective.
