Fits great, keeps you dry, packs easily. It comes close to the knee so has decent coverage but last model was just a little longer and protected clothing better. Though it "stows away" in its own pocket, I've folded it to avoid being scrunched up when I am ready to use it. Easy to roll it and pack in carry-on bag so it's always handy.

This coat is perfect for light rains and travel. It is roomy enough to wear with a light sweater under. I like that it can fit into a zip pocket, although I had to call to learn how to do that since there were no instructions in the package. I wish this came in more color choices.

It fits perfect. You can even gather in waist if needed.

We are traveling to Europe soon and I wanted a lightweight rain coat to pack. I purchased a Petite S and find it to be very roomy on my frame. I wanted a roomy coat because I have a fleece that I will wear under it if its cool. I'm in my mid 50s, but personally like the drawstring waist because I don't like a boxy look on my small frame. The coat is almost knee length on me.

A nice long adequate raincoat. At a reasonable price. Not sure how breathable it will be but I bought it for dog walks and traveling, not hiking

Quality construction, plus very lightweight. I especially like the small zip pocket on the left breast (great for keys). All other pockets zip close as I prefer. Suggest adding reflective tape and more colors.

Fine coat, I followed the advice of other reviewers and sized up and it was HUGE. I am 5'2" 160lbs and the large and xl were too big. I didn't try the medium.

Enjoy the long length and appreciate the Velcro option for front closure because the zipper is a little difficult to zip. Wish it came in more colors but overall very happy with the design.

The rain coat is great quality. It's made well and looks good. I know I will get a lot of use from it and it will be as good as advertised. I know I can trust L.L. Bean products to be the best.

Replaces ny favorite LLBean raincoat . Not quite as fabulous as the one I bought 10 (15?) years ago as the fabric has completely changed I also have not worn it in a deluge, but hope it is as good as the original.

So far, so good. I wore it in a downpour and it kept me dry, which is exactly what I wanted. I consider a rain jacket practically useless when it's raining hard, and it's hard to find a knee-length coat like this, so I'm happy LL Bean offers it. The only reason I gave it four stars is that there's no color selectionjust black and navy. A warmer-weather raincoat should come in some nicer colors.

It is a lovely raincoat but to expensive for my pocketbook.

I bought this to replace a similar raincoat I have had for many years, which was a large. I called and asked about the measurement at the hips and was given a number that was the same as my old model. Unfortunately, when it arrived and I tried it on it fits very snuggly in the hips. I have since bought this same raincoat in an XL to have more ease in the hips My hips measure 43".

Worn in very serious rain conditions. Amazing. Kept me dry. Comfortable. Flattering. Light weight. I put my own Puffer shell for warmth. Love this jacket keeping it. However, the inside lining on my bare skin feels like you are just rubbing up against a tent the whole time. Don't like the feeling of that at all. I will see if I get used to it in the summer. Wish I didn't have to though.

Fit and design are perfect. Love the length. I wear them with knee boots. The pair are perfect for the windy rainy days. The length eeps my legs from getting soaked..

It's very well made but a little narrow across the chest for me 5'4" , 125 pounds , bought medium . I'm hoping to wear a sweater or sweatshirt under it for layering on a trip

Like this raincoat, and I folded it into its pocket when I recently traveled. When I took it out, it was severely wrinkled and still is as I write this. Hope they fall out at some point.

Perfect for Autumn showers and walking my dog! I can wear over a medium-weight denim jacket or sweater. Love the zippered pockets. Although the chest pocket can hold my phone and ID, I wish it was a bit larger to also hold my keys. My rating should really be 4.5; I'm ready for Spring, too!

I've purchased llbean coats before in petite and they fit great. This coat did not seem to be petite in sizing, though it was marked petite. Other than that, coat is nice.

I wanted a rain jacket that was a bit longer, and like this one except for one issue: it goes down to my knees, but there is no pleat to allow movement for larger steps. My legs were being stopped by the bottom of the jacket. Other than that it's a great jacket. I am 5'6" if that might help other purchasers. I sent it back.

The navy blue fabric is nice and the zippered pockets look useful. I ordered the petite medium so I could layer underneath. But the coat was too big overall. The Velcro along the front placket is "grabby" and I did not want to deal with it every time I wore the coat so I returned it.

Reg L was tight in shoulders and middle on me. also had very long sleeves. So petite xl fit much better At 5'4" 168 Zipper a bit tricky to get started and a little crinkly. But not deal breaker. Like the color navy n light weight of it n having a hood Haven't tested in the rain yet. Hope it's breathable as don't want to overheat. I will use this for dressy and outdoor wear. Decent real waterproof coats are hard to find. This was a good price too

Nice light weight raincoat. You need to lift the bottom zip up for walking. The velcro is not strong enough to hold the raincoat closed without the zip. Snaps would have been better.

I like the length and coverage the raincoat offers. I am also impressed with it being a multi weather coat. I have worn it in various temperatures. I would say that it adjusts to different temperatures, excluding winter. I am not so sure how it would be on a hot summer's day. The sleeves were a bit long, but I folded them over at the cuff and it added more style to the coat. The hood is a bit big, but will keep you dry in a downpour. My biggest complaint is with the zipper. It is a task to get it to work smoothly. I have the same issue with the down coat I purchased a few years back. I think LL Bean could do a better job in the zipper department. Overall, I do like it and wished it was offered in more colors. I purchased a small and wondered if I should have gotten an Extra Small. After wearing it, I do like the size, as it affords me the opportunity to layer up underneath, if I choose. I have received compliments on it, and am overall, pleased with my purchase.

Love the length and the lightweight nature of this rain jacket. It did feel a little damp inside after an hour in the rain, but my clothes weren't wet.
