DISGUSTING! POOR QUALITY! SENT IT BACK! I was a strongly committed lifetime supporter of LL Bean products, once known for remarkable and superior quality.. Over 55 years ago I visited the old warehouse in Maine as part of our summer visit there. I remember the creaky wooden floors, the camping gear and outdoor stuff. Sadly, when this rain coat came in the mail and I touched the "fabric" I was horrified by the cheap, plastic feel of the cheesy construction material. Up until recently, LL Bean meant paying just a little bit more, but it was always well worth it. There is nothing worth it about this "generic" run of the mill garment. It could have easily come from any number of the many much cheaper, less prestigious companies. The good old LL Bean exceptional quality is long gone from the LL Bean of now, and it is just a lot of nothing.

Petite L was too long, yet too tight across the chest. Hated the plastic-y lining. What a disappointment. My search for a spring raincoat continues.

Very thin material, runs small in hip and sleeves are long! No shape at all

The cut has changed from my last purchase of this longer raincoat. Can't tell us the cinch waist is part of the problem. I left it fully open and found the cut under the arms is now too snug. That's a shame as last rain coat was perfect .

Wanted to buy the same raincoat that I bought my daughter 4 years ago and they don't make it anymore. This was their replacement of that coat and it is nothing like the raincoat I bought her. It has a completely different cut and feels flimsy in comparison. Not worth the money.

I bought this raincoat to replace an old LLBean raincoat I have but it wasn't as nice. I loved all the features except for the fact that it has no lining which the old one did so I returned it. It's really unfortunate this new model isn't as substantial as the old one because they're both easy to roll up and pack, wear it to the store or in the woods, it's nice looking and versatile but the new one is chinchy.

A friend recommended this jacket highly. Based on the LL Bean size chart, at first I ordered the Petite Small. That was enormous. So I took a gamble and exchanged it for the Petite XS. That size, too, looks enormous, especially in the shoulders and under the arms, even when you consider the possibility of wearing a sweater under it. Even when I adjusted the waist, it looked like I was wearing a sack. I'm not ready to trade function for zero form, so I am sending it back. Now I have wasted extra shipping and also the two weeks it took for the second one to come. I will not be ordering any petite clothing from LL Bean again.

This coat is a very thin nylon and does not look at all as robust as it does online. I never would have paid $129 for something as cheap looking and as flimsy as this is. It most definitely does not look like it would keep a raindrop off your body, but even if it would, you would need layers underneath it to give you any warmth. I'm furious this was so misrepresented and that I have already thrown away the packaging and slip. When I opened this, my thought was I must have bought this on sale for a summer rain. I didn't remember buying this until I looked up my purchases. I'm livid,

I am very dissapointed in this product. The wrist gatherings were so tight and the material so ridgid. It could not be worn comfortably. The whole jacket felt tight and not designed for movement. I have two other rain garments from you and love them although they are showing age, hence I was looking to swap with new one. I will be returning the jacket as soon as things open up and I feel safe traveling to store.

I needed a rain coat and I saw this one on your website. It's a very thin material with no lining and when it's a cold rain like you get at this time of year in the Northeast you need to wear layers, otherwise you freeze. I purchased a large specifically so that I could wear layers under it and I still freeze. I don't think it is worth the $80.00 that I paid for it.

Please bring back the knee length stowaway coat and insulated coat for women. Those items were classic, durable, waterproof, windproof, warm, breathable, lined, lightweight, and basically perfect. Nothing you've offered since has come close. This is yet another poor substitute - loud, hot, feels like plastic, prominent logo.

I just got this raincoat today and have been looking forward to having a go-with-everything black coat. However, I was instantly turned off by the prominent logo on the left front and never tried it on. I marked "true to size" because I had to click something to submit the review, but I really have no idea how it fits. It's still in the sealed plastic bag it came in, and it's going back tomorrow. There is only one other raincoat I would have considered, the Meridian, but it apparently has a cranky zipper. I've already had to deal with quite a few of those. No thanks.
