It did not say in the description, but in addition to the double zipper entry there is a velcro closure for when you don't want to zip it, which is nice. I bought this for travel so zippered pockets were a must and I like the access of the chest pocket. Also a must, was velcro at the wrist - however, they must think women's wrists are 10 inches around! You cannot get it truly snug around the wrist due to the velcro placement, which defeats the purpose of keeping rain out. And the arm sleeves are ridiculously long! Also, I ordered a large and would consider myself an average weight, although curvy, and the fit is snug - not enough to order an xlarge, but snug for what I would consider a large size. I will test out the waterproof part on our trip.

It met expectations, an excellent raincoat for summer and early Fall.

Purchased this for a trip across the pond to the UK in March. It folds up well, takes up little space, is light weight, doesn't wrinkle. The hood negated me having to carry an umbrella. It worked well for me.

I haven't bought it but I a looking for a coat like this but in a brighter color. You need to make us more visible in dark rainy weather! I think maybe some reflective material to make more visible. I also like snaps to easily close the coat without having to zip the coat. Thanks

Dressy enough to wear to church and sporty enough for other venues

This coat is definitely "slighty fitted". It's not as relaxed as the Trail Model Rain Coat that it replaced. Don't really understand the need for the drawstring waist. I'm still looking for a waterproof, breathable, packable coat that you could layer over 3 layers if you need to, like the old Trail Model Rain Coat.

Arms are too long for petite size. I did not like all the Velcro. I'm not a fan of any Velcro on clothing. I ended up giving the coat away.

It seems flimsy. I live in Oregon, so I need a good quality raincoat, and this isn't the one for this price point. Based on feedback from others, I sized up to a large and this wasn't necessary. The blue color is not very attractive. Too many negatives.

I have had this coat for 3 years and it works well in a New England "shower". It does pack well for travel as others have said. I travelled to Vietnam recently and monsoon season lasted longer than expected. The jacket could not hold up to the downpours. Someone in our group had the shorter version and she claimed to stay dry. Maybe water resistance wears off over time?

The coat has a narrow cut. Although I am small in stature, I ordered a size Large so I could wear it over a heavy sweater or jacket. It would barely close when I tried in on wearing a cotton blouse. I then ordered an Extra Large, which under normal circumstances I would be swimming in. The extra large satisfied my need for more upper body room, but was still quite narrow around the hips. I believe the coat is designed for a tall slim figure, even in the extra large size.

Owned a Trail Model hot pink coat for 10+ years. I needed to replace. This new coat was too tight in the hips, not crazy about the color. Liked the look and length, tho. I returned. I will look again for hopefully for a more color choices, like the jacket.

I like this coat but the description says it is foldable into its own pocket. That sounds great but nothing at all was packaged with the coat describing the method to accomplish that. Is that information available?

The jacket fitted too small. I had expected it to be roomier. Please offer in larger sizes beyond 3XL.

Nice look and quality seems to be good. Didn't test it in the rain however. Sleeves waaaay too long, to the end of my fingertips!! Also decided after trying on that I prefer a longer rain coat to keep midi dresses and pant bottoms dry.

I've had this coat for a year. I love the length, coverage, hood, and longer sleeve length for my long arms. It also keeps the rain from penetrating thru. The zipper has become difficult to line up at the bottom. *Sigh* Really? A $100+ coat that has zipper issues within a year? I also don't care for the velcro holding the zipper flap closed. Most of the time, it just gets caught on the mesh lining that you then have to rip apart. Snaps would have been much better.

I ordered up 2 sizes to accomodate a fleece underneath. Very tight thru the hips and the armholes are way too small.

Thinner than I expected. Have a hard time with the zipper. It fits well, but I was thinking of returning it. Not what I expected for the price. I will hang on to it as a secondary raincoat

I bought this raincoat to replace an LLBean Gortex raincoat that I purchased many years ago at a Bean's outlet store. The Pros: The material is lightweight, waterproof and windproof. You can easily wear it over layers. I like the pockets, especially the small upper pocket for my phone. The hood is adjustable, cinches well and can be "velcroid" into a "collar" when not in use. The jacket is packable and washable, although I did not try these features. The zipper is two-way. It comes in my size (petite). The Cons: My first impression was that the color was drab. Despite being a small petite size, the sleeves and hemline were at least an inch too long. It was not at all stylish and the fit was rather boxy. It could easily be unisex outerwear if it was shorter. In the end: I just didn't like this raincoat and ended up returning it. I bought the H2Off raincoat instead (which was more expensive unfortunately, but has style, comes in a more appealing shade of blue and I will enjoy wearing it).

I was really excited for this coat, but unfortunately when it arrived I realized the reviews about the arm were correctthe upper arm area is extremely tight! The arms seem a little backwards having the lower portion of the sleeve looser than the upper. I got this in 1x and it fits perfect everywhere (even wearing a layer underneath) except for the upper arm. I contacted customer service to get the size difference for the sleeves between 1x and 2x. They were very helpful and said "The armhole circumference of the 2X is 1" larger than the 1X, the upper arm (1" below the armhole) is 3/4" an inch larger and the elbow circumference is approximately 1/2" larger". I haven't placed another as I'm afraid the upper arm may still be too tight. I was shocked that the arm was tight as I've never had this issue before with jackets. Over than that the quality seemed nice and I liked the length of the jacket.

I loved everything about this rain coat --packability, length, comfort when I moved my arms--BUT you cannot wear both a ponytail and glasses and use the hood. It does not cover my face when I have a ponytail (which is all the time), and so rain splatters my glasses. What's the point of having it if I can't keep my glasses dry? A hood for women needs to be deep enough to accommodate both of those things simultaneously.

Lightweight good longer length. My only complaint is length of sleeves! They are about 4" too long. Even if I try to roll it up they are way too long. I'm 5'7" and they are ridiculously too long. Hey Bean do something about this. I may return it.

I was looking for a lightweight water proof raincoat. This is NOT waterproof, water resistant, perhaps but after a 20-minute walk in light rain, I was completely damp underneath. Very disappointing. For the money, and the fact that it is advertised as waterproof. The fit is fine, but what's the point if it's not waterproof.
