Fits weird. Way too small in the shoulders. Material is also much thinner than I expected.

The sleeve's are made for a monkey. This apparently is a commercial problem with LLBeans jackets. Yet they don't do anything to resolve it.

Aside from the fact that the size was too small, the material is extremely thin--- it feels like it could tear easily. I knew I was in trouble when I picked up the package and it weighed next to nothing. Outrageously overpriced for what you get. Back it goes.

I was replacing an older LLBean rain jacket and also buying one for a family member. However, the current product is *nowhere* near the quality of the old one. Although I knew from the description it would not have a 2-way zipper (much better for sitting in vehicle), I was surprised by the cheap zipper that is very difficult to work and then pulls apart after you finally get it to slide. The jacket material is very noisy, which seems unnecessary these days with so many different options available to make a jacket waterproof but breathable. The length is skimpy. Why would you want a rain jacket that does not cover your backside? Oddly, the sleeves seemed out of proportion, much longer than necessary even though the velcro-adjustable wrist is nice. The blue was lovely, and it had a good number of pockets with zipper closures, but unfortunately those features don't make up for overall poor quality. And the zippers on the pockets were the same cheap ones which seemed like they would also pull apart. I hope this is not the direction of LLBean products, because I purchase only things we really need, and we need them to serve a long time. That's why we looked at LLBean.

I really should have returned this rain jacket because of faulty manufacture. Every time I start to zip it up the zip catches at the bottom in the material on the right side because it overlaps the zip slightly and then I have to pull the jacket off over my head to try and free it. First time I ever had a problem with an LL Bean item. Really a waste of $100 because it's such a pain to put on! If not for the zip problem it would be a really nice jacket that looks good and fits perfectly.

This was a highly anticipated purchase. It looked good, fit well, and was going to last until college. We were super thrilled right up until she lost it a week and a half after it arrived. Do not buy for teens that easily lose their coats.

Runs small. Not true to size. Most plus size clothes dont fit. You won't publish this anyway because you don't publish negative reviews.

Flimsy material, sleeves would work well on Spider Man! Large and unflattering thru body. I am returning it and will look elsewhere for a raincoat.

Two years later, used only in summer, coat is not at all waterproof. It is nice as a windbreaker, maybe OK in drizzle, but not for rain.

This jacket is too thin and light. LL Bean makes a lot of quality things, but this jacket is not one of them. I would not recommend this item to anyone. Nice color, though.

It runs small in my opinion. The arms were tight at the top. I also that it was overpriced for the jacket as there is not much to the jacket. No lining, etc.

I already own a rain jacket from LL Bean. I used the same size to order the jacket and it didn't fit. So I returned it .

Sizing is way off. Incredibly small. I bought a 3x and it's snug all over. I have another raincoat (from llbean, different brand) that is a 3x and is so roomy I can wear a sweater and it still is swimmy on me.

This jacket was so ill fitting, and the material so flimsy, I could've bought this at a 99 cents store. Very cheap quality for the price of the jacket. I immediately returned it.

I love L.L. Bean. But their sizing needs to improve. I purchased this hoping that it would fit - as the git guide suggested it would. It has great length overall and fits me around, but the sleeves and shoulders are not adequate. The sleeves are not long enough and if I try to lift my arms to drive, there is serious pull and resistance. I wish L.L. Bean would make adjustments to more than just the belly area for PLUS size outerwear.

I have a closet full of LLBean jackets & coats from over the years. It seems they are cutting back on sleeve fabric these days. This is the 2nd rain coat I've ordered and the sleeves are too tight. I even ordered the jacket bigger hoping the sleeves would fit. Nope sleeves still tight like sausage casing and the body is too big. Messed up! I'm done with LL Bean

Extremely disappointed with this jacket. It's a bare bones, unlined rain slicker. Not worth even half of what it costs.

This would have been my third jacket from this line but I was surprised to find it was significantly smaller than earlier models so back it went!
