Bought a petite as always. The sleeves are a mile too long. They are supposedly held up by Velcro. It gets caught on everything. What's the rationale? Sadly I returned it. Such a gorgeous jacket in clover. Would have loved it.

The sleeves on this jacket are way too long. I am 5'4" with average length arms and the sleeves in a petite were about four inches too long. I tried two different sizes and both had extra long sleeves so they were sent back. Also, the velcro closing will catch on anything when not fastened. I wanted to like it but could not. I was replacing an older version and those sleeves were perfect and no Velcro.

The jacket fits well but is not waterproof. I wore it in a light rain and my shirt and back were soaked. I returned it for a refund, which LL Bean made easy.

The jacket is fine when it's a light rain or drizzle but I became soaked when walking during heavier rainfall. I walk daily, rain or shine, and was hoping this jacket would provide much needed protection during storms. It did not.

This jacket is terrible and does not measure not up to the quality I expect from an LL Bean Garment. The fabric is equal to a plastic poncho I can purchase at a dollar store. I will be retuning it.

The trail model rain jacket no longer has a relaxed fit. Also, there is no snap at the bottom of the zipper. I have three of the previous models, but wanted a different color. Very disappointed. Returned.

I wore this jacket for the 1st time today in the rain and was soaked through all three underlayers. It's wasn't even a downpour, just a slow gentle rain. This jacket is not waterproof. I wouldn't even consider it water resistant. Big disappointment.

Purchased to replace our older ones. We are gardeners, so important to keep somewhat dry. When I received these, I couldn't believe the quality was nothing compared to our older ones from LLBean. I immediately sent them back. Sooo much thinner material.

I was looking for a rain jacket with interior pockets and an exterior phone pocket for upcoming travel, and this was the only style that fits the bill and packs into its own pocket. It's a big miss on the part of the ecommerce team that the "Key Features" description does not include the interior drop pockets, as this is a great feature. PSA for other ladies out there, this jacket has a total of 5 pockets. I bought a Petite Medium, which is my usual size since I like a roomy fit. Unfortunately, the sleeves were a full inch longer than the other Petite Medium I purchased previously (Cresta Stretch Rain Jacket). I even tried to cinch the wrist velcro as tightly as possible, to no avail. The subsequent bunching looked terrible, so I had to returned it. The Petite sleeve length needs to be addressed for this style. If you are a short woman with long arms, this style would work for you. Otherwise, you would have to get the sleeves altered for a proper fit.

The color is beautiful & fits perfectly. Just ran it thru the wash & washed up beautifully. Can't wait for cooler weather so I can wear it.

I have had this coat for 2 years and it can keep me dry in a light mist, it is a good windbreaker, it is stylish and looks nice on, and is true to fit. Unfortunately, this is a RAIN jacket and it will not keep me dry in anything wetter than a mist. My husband and cousin have this same jacket in men's version and their coats keep them dry so maybe mine is a dud? I've hung onto this coat because it was expensive but it has never held up to wet conditions. Every time I wear it, I'm disappointed and soaking wet. I contacted LL Bean customer service shortly after purchase and they gave me a hard time about the waterproofing concerns I had. Really disappointing for a company that prides themselves on customer service. If you want a windbreaker, this jacket will work for you. If you want a rain coat to keep you dry, keep looking or bring an umbrella + change of clothes. For reference, I'm asking this coat to perform in a range of conditions from walking from the parking lot into a store or my office to a multi-hour hike in the rain.

Rain jacket was too small and I ordered one size larger than I usually wear. I returned it and didn't exchange because I wouldn't have gotten the exchange before I went out of town where I needed the coat. It also felt like I was wearing a plastic bag, and wasn't breathable.

Garment arrived in a Bean plastic bag. It was crumpled up in that bag, not folded in new-garment packaging. When I called LLB to question this, the response was that what I ordered was unavailable in the warehouse but was located in a store and pulled from a hanger. Whoopee! How many times was it tried on? By whom? How often did it land on the floor? UNACCEPTABLE from LLB, especially for an expensive item. Then I decided to try it on. I requested XL since I usually layer. This garment was about the size of any other company's Size 12! Needless to say I simply requested a refund. Years ago ordered many items from LLB. Still have and wear some of them. Never again!

This jacket is an absolute joke if you get caught in anything heavier than a light sprinkle you are soaked. For $99. I can't believe this.

I returned it as it was not roomy enough through the hips. Not all of us are slim hipped, and I'm one of them. I would be lovely if you took that into consideration with some of your jackets as so far none I have tried have enough hip room.

Purchased for my mother-in-law. The outer fabric and lining are very plastic-like. It feels like a rain poncho. Not worth the price. Fits true to size.

Zipper came apart on first time zipped. Repeat attempts did the same thing. Also arms too tight and jacket overall too small for 2x size, which is my usual. Returned

I usually love the things I purchase from LL Bean; however this jacket is an exception. It is tight in the hips and did not keep the rain out. Returning

I love LLBean clothing. This raincoat is too tight on the hips and the arms were over 4 inches too long. Very disappointed!!
