OK, but sleeves are way too long for a petite size jacket

The jacket was well made but not what I was expecting. I expected a lining to block the wind as well as the rain and was disappointed there was not lining. I will use it but need to buy a second jacket for the purpose I bought this.

Fit was good but the green color was not nearly as vibrant and pretty in person. I returned for this reason

Two things: first, the color is a much darker red than depicted in catalog or online. It is more of a burgundy. Second, the fit. I wavered between a M and a L, so I took the size quiz. It said I need large. I have extremely long arms, yet the sleeves came down almost to my fingertips. The coat was large enough through the body that my daypack would have fit under it. I returned it in September to exchange for a M and was told it is back ordered and won't be sent until January. Disappointing.

I have always felt the sizing for upper arm area is too small. The rest of the jacket fits me well with room to spare, but if your a larger size and have arms proportionate with the rest of you, the arms are definitely not going to allow for any layers. The 2x is perfect for me to layer a sweater, or thin sweatshirt and still have room. If I size up, the arms would still be too tight and the rest of the jacket way too large. I have this jacket in the insulated from a few years ago and I can wear something thin to to medium thickness with the arms only being slightly tight. I recently ordered the insulated in the same size and it was plenty big through it, but the arms seem to be even smaller now, it was uncomfortable over a T-shirt. Unfortunately I had to return.

I bought this jacket and am sorry that i did not purchase one with a thin, soft lining. The feel of this jacket is not comforting, feels cool and unforgiving.

Not very much to it. I thought it would be thicker

I bought this about a year ago and have worn it just a few times in light rain. Recently I wore it in heavy rain and it doesn't work at all! It's too thin and soaks right through!

Purchased to replace an older Bean jacket, which I loved. The fit is perfect, but for the wrist adjustment. When I wore it for light rain, it felt uncomfortably damp on the inside. Please consider a more substantial lining for this model jacket.

Rain jacket does not reach below hips if you are tall 5'10". Typical length shortfall at LLBean. Material very light weight and flimsy not sure how much protection it provides from rain.

This jacket suffers from an overabundance of velcro. All the pockets, the zipper placket, and the sleeves have large pieces of velcro. If you don't use the velcro, it catches on things and collects fuzz and lint. I especially dislike the 4" long pieces on the sleeves that are completely unnecessary. I'd like to remove some of the velcro but it's on there pretty securely and I'm afraid of ruining the jacket. Also would have liked a cotton lining. In humid weather, this jacket is a bit uncomfortable.

Fits well but if it's raining and high humidity, the sleeves are sticky & hot. A cotton lining would have helped.

Great jacket but for some reason doesn't have a two way zipper.

I've worn this jacket for over a decade, having bought around three in the same plus size. I absolutely love the jacket, but the one I just picked up has noticeably smaller upper arms. I usually wear a thin fleece under it in the fall, early winter, and spring, but wearing only a t-shirt, the upper arm is snug. My old jacket of the same size has a much roomier upper arm. I hope in the future the cut of the sleeves is changed back to what it used to be.

Does not keep you really dry. Thought it was suppose to be waterproof.

Let led the style and color very much. Jacket didn't fit me through the shoulders (too tight) so I ordered a men's medium.

Great lightweight rain jacket but it's not long enough.

I've owned several trail model coats in size large and have had plenty of room. Since I didn't care for the basic black and navy colors I figured I'd order the jacket since it comes in some nice colors. The jacket was beautiful, I loved the color and it was made well however I could barely zip the zipper. It looks like the sizing has changed . I was so disappointed it didn't fit.

The jacket was nice but I prefer a little heavier fabric. Thought it was "flimsy" for the cost.

Nice windbreaker. Love the style/fit. It is definitely not waterproof.

This rain jacket is fine, but runs very large. Haven't worn it in a downpour, but in light rain without an umbrella it kept me dry. It is well vented. The pockets are large enough and zippered, which is nice. While the body fits well with a enough but not too much roominess, the hood is too big, the sleeves are too long, and the wrists are too big even with the velcro tightened. These aren't deal breakers for me, but are the reason I docked it a couple of stars.

I thought the jacket would be a heavier material - it's more like a windbreaker. So I was disappointed thinking it would be good for fall wear, but not really warm enough. So for the price of nearly $100, it is far too expensive.

I bought this jacket based on another LL Bean jacket of the same size that I already own. This jacket definitely runs small. Although I never wore it (being returned), I feel that I would sweat in it.

I would buy this, except it doesn't have a 2-way zipper.
