I loved the new dusty rose color and ordered the same size I've been wearing for over 15 years. The new sizing is smaller! Had to send it back and get a bigger size. And the zipper is lower quality than my older rain jacket! Might be sending this larger size back because of that. But the dusty rose color is awesome!

I bought this a month & a little disappointed. For the price, I expected more. Realizing that it's a bit chilly when it rains, I think it could've been lined more for comfort. I know it's the cheaper price point, but it wasn't cheap.

Usually I'm a fan of LL Bean but not this jacket. I will keep it and occasionally wear it but I won't love it. I've tried to get the wrinkles out from packing and shipping. I washed it but it's still wrinkly. Ugh.

I've had this rain jacket for about 2 or 3 years now. I am happy to say that it HAS kept me dry! So it does the job I bought it for. However, I somehow managed to get a small tear in the lining of one sleeve, and that tear has set off a major shredding of the lining in that sleeve. I was afraid something like this would happen when I first got it. I feel like the quality/durability of the jacket is not quite what I've come to expect from LL Bean. I have what I believe is called a field jacket that is more than 10 years old--and it is in almost mint condition. I am disappointed that the lining of this rain jacket has not held up. I suspect the mesh-lining of the pockets will be the next to go. I am a little disappointed that the rain jacket uses velcro instead of snaps (like my older field jacket does). Velcro has a tendency to accumulate lint and other debris that makes it unstickable. While the jacket does keep me dry, it also makes me sweat quite a lot on warmer days. There's zero breathability in the fabric. But then, maybe breathability is not an option in a waterproof fabric.

Although I loved the color of this jacket, I just didn't like the way it felt on. I was hoping the lining would be more substantial. (An actual lining.) Sadly, I returned it.

Cute fit and I like the color, but the first time I wore it for more than a few minutes in actual rain my t-shirt was wet. I thought maybe it was a breathability problem and I maybe had perspired a lot, so I took it into the shower and ran water on it - you can literally see the drops of water bulging up through the surface of the liner and turning into beads of water on the inside of the jacket. Disappointed that I can't use it for its intended purpose- I guess it is just good for water resistance in a light rainshower. Was shocked to see other reviews mention that it was waterproof for them - maybe a quality control issue?

True to size, but to be honest it's way too pricey for what's it's made of. I was expecting a thicker material.

I live in a rainy coastal urban environment, and I wear this jacket in the pouring rain many times a year. It has consistently been wonderful. Totally waterproof, comfortable, reasonably attractive, functionally superb! Love the two-way zipper! However, When I ordered a replacement it arrived with a white logo on the chest (dark blue fabric), The logo stands out too much, so I very sadly returned it. Hoping there'll be a change in the near future.

Fit and fabric are very good. The quality of the zipper is not up to Bean standards.

With a sweater, the upper arms are too tight. I had to return it.

Jacket itself is made well and loved the color, but the sleeves for petite were WAY too long. Had to return

General construction quality and fit were OK but a little "down-market". The smooth plastic-y lining felt clammy, didn't breathe and the front over-flap was fastened with velcro on instead of snaps. My wife returned it in favor of a similar item with a soft mesh lining and snaps from another brand.

The fit was good. I was a little disappointed, I thought there was a lining inside. Haven't had a chance to wear it yet.

Actually 2nd jacket. 1 for every day. 1 for the camper.

The jacket has a nice fit with tapered waist and Velcro closures at the wrist and an ample hood. It's lightweight and packable, taking up little space in my suitcase. I bought it for traveling.
Unfortunately it wasn't truly waterproof and I got damp in a light rain with windy conditions.

Would have 5 stars if the hood design wasn't changed. Had an older one and the hood had a small brim on the front. Otherwise the quality seems the same

I ordered it a size up. It still didn't fit larger arms. Which meant it probably wouldn't have done well with multiple layers.

Very flimsy rain jacket but it does the job. I was expecting a rain coat that was more comfortable but I guess this is how things are made these days.

I like a lining in a jacket. This did not have one. The fit was good though.

The waterproofing and general comfort are good but the fit is poor. I'm 5'5" 118 lbs. Despite buying a Small Petite, the arms are too long and the top of the hood extends too far, blocking my vision both forward and to the sides.

This is a beautiful jacket and I was so excited to receive it. I tried it on and i felt like I was wearing a garbage bag. The inside has absolutely no lining, so if you are prone to wearing short sleeves or sleeveless blouses, this is not comfortable. I am returning it for that reason.

I sent it back. It zips on the left side instead of the right side. Plus, it was a little tight in some spots.

I may return it. The L wasn't quite big enough and the XL is huge. They are also too "plastically".
