The fit and function has worked well for me in Hawaii. The color is bright and fun also.

Jacket kept me dry while salmon fishing in a bad storm. I had and old llbean rainsuit that I loved used for years when fishing; this one is even better.

This is a cute jacket and I loved the color! However, the sleeves are weirdly long. The petite version is much better, sleeve-wise, but the jacket was then too short for my taste (I'm only 5'4" but I have a very long torso). On the plus side, it was roomy through the chest without looking bulky, which is a problem I often have with jackets. It's very lightweight/packable, so if you could get the fit right I imagine it would be great for travel.

Hoped LLBean had corrected the problem lining. Wore jacket 1 time for less than 30 minutes, and the lining is shredding & tearing where the hood attaches to collar.

I usually wear a size 4 regular. However, I ordered the petite small because I was concerned about the sleeves being too long. I love the fit and look but the sleeves were still a little long. I also would have preferred it be lightly lined but wearing a sweater helps in the cool or rainy days. I highly recommend this rain jacket nevertheless. I also ordered the orange one for my husband and he loved it.

This jacket is very attractive (a great shade of green, attractive cut, good construction, etc.) I like the interior and exterior pockets and the velcro closures on the storm flap. Waterproof - so far. Hood is okay. Sleeves are a little long for me.

The front zipper closure is not as smooth as I'd like, it gets caught in extra fabric and/or the Velcro closure that goes over the final zipped up front is cumbersome as well. The jacket is great for rain and shields well. I own a previous LL Bean Rain jacket and love it, I find myself going back to it instead of using the new one.

Nice jacket, definitely waterproof. But agree with others-its tight in the shoulders. Also would be nice if the sleeves had elastic on the cuffs in addition to the Velcro adjustment.

Beautiful jacket, beautiful color blue! lightweight And not hot at all even in the summer rain. Looks great with nice detailing. Love the Velcro around wrists and zipped pockets. Would highly recommend this jacket!

The Burgundy jacket is misrepresented online. Instead of a nice brick red as shown, I received a disappointing dark plum jacket. The jacket is also very fitted and does not allow room for more than a long-sleeve t-shirt underneath. I ordered my usual size, which was correct according to the size chart. The next size up would be too large. I will likely return the jacket.

I ordered (and then returned) an XS Petite - it was huge on me. XS petite is the smallest but is equivalent to a US size 2 (which I learned after the fact was larger than I expected). It was very long on me in both the arms and torso, and too wide in the chest area. Overall I just felt like I was all jacket when I wore it and it overpowered everything else as it was so big on me. Im really not even that small, Im pretty average weight for someone my height and have some curves (Im 5 ft). I wish there was at least the option to get it smaller than the XS as that is just not small enough - I could deal with the longer length, but Im small chested so it just didnt work. Its really hard to find petite clothing so it was just disappointing to me that the one place with petite rain jackets is still too large. Otherwise, the color was really cute and the material was comfy.

I have always lov d that I could depend on the quality of LLBean, but not this time! My other raincoat quit being waterproof. I have to walk to work in all weather. I too my time selecting and found less expensive but I wanted durable and quality. So I chose LLBean. I wore it yesterday in the rain for the first time and it is not waterproof! My clothes underneath were wet after a mile. I will return.

I loved my original rain jacket and it was a perfect fit. I ordered another one, because mine is so old it was falling apart. The new one in the same size is much smaller. I cant get the larger size, because the sleeves will be too long. Very disappointed . Returning the jacket. Would only recommend to a friend if they were tiny.

I went for a walk on a rainy day and accidentally walked into a large area filled with thorn bushes. I had no choice but to continue forward. I could hear the thorns hitting and sliding across my new Trail Model Rain Jacket. When I got home, I looked the jacket over and there was not one tear or snag. I love my jacket so much. That jacket is worth every penny I paid for it.

Im not sure what I was expecting for $120, but it wasnt a jacket that fit in a bag barely larger than a sandwich bag. The rain jacket may be great, but I definitely felt ripped off when I opened the package.

My wife needed a new raincoat and this one arrived just in time for the seemingly month long precipitation we're apparently going to experience on the previously drought-afflicted Central Coast of California. The coat looks good and I'm told it is very comfortable and effective at keeping its wearer dry. It was a very good purchase.

Fits great and shed water with ease! Great that is full zip and light weight so easy to store!

I purchased this during a storm to replace a life-time guaranteed one Id had a few years that was peeling apart. LL Bean no longer stands behind its brand and this will be my last purchase.

This jacket and my Bean boots make for dry warm rainy days!

This is the 3rd L.L. Bean rain jacket in this style that I've had in some 20 years. The quality is the same, and I love the color, but it fits tight (even though I've lost 20 pounds). I didn't return this medium for a large because the length and the sleeves fit well.
