Its perfect. Exactly what I was wanting for our daughter who is active outdoors in nature.

Im a size M. This was too snug around my hips. I like the style, so Im sadly going to size up.

I layered this on a cool day by wearing a sweater underneath. It is comfortable and totally water resistant. My old one was about 10 years old and I was ready for a color other than black. This is attractive and very versatile. The fit is true to size. I plan to enjoy this one for another 10 years!

Great quality. The XS Petite was perfect for my daughter who is 53 115 pounds.

I bought this rain jacket for a trip to Ecuador. It held up nicely in afternoon downpours with a light fleece under it.

I don't understand why the fit was changed from traditional to slightly fitted for the trail model rain jacket. Because of the fit I had to order a larger size. I normally wear Medium. I'm not thrilled with the way the jacket fits but there is not much I can do about it. In order to get enough room in the fitted area to accommodate a layer, I had to go up a size. Because of that, the bottom of the jacket flairs out and reminds me of an A Line skirt from many years ago. This is outdoor gear. When active, you need room to move and be comfortable. Please drop the slightly fitted and go back to the original fit.

I returned the jacket because it did not fit. I am concerned you have not indicated the return had taken place.

Love the softness, fit, comfort and packability. I had hoped to find that the hood rolled into the collar, but cannot find that anywhere these days. Everything else about the jacket is just right.

I wear a size 2x usually but read the reviews and ordered a size up. It was still tight in the arms, but loose everywhere else. I loved the color and style. It does look great on. It will still fit even if I loose weight. It worked great in the rain, so nice not to be rained on. Its pretty light, so you can use it year around.

Im 53 & 142 lbs and found the MP to be almost a perfect fit. If the sleeves ran just a little shorter it would be a keeper.

This jacket is very well made and has lots of neat compartments. I got green and it serves as a jacket on days that aren't rainy as well. I got this rainjacket before 10-15 years ago in orange and I put rugged wear and tear on it and I liked it so much I got it again

I have a size M LLBean rain jacket that has served me well for many years. This fall the lining began to disintegrate, leaving small white flakes on my clothing. I ordered the green Trail Model Rain Jacket as a replacement. I was disappointed when it arrived. Though it's also marked a size M, it doesn't fit nearly as well. It's tight across the shoulders and the back hangs oddly. I wanted to love this jacket but I had to return it.

Made incredibly well. Really nice and light, but totally does the job keeping you dry. Really fair price - super jacket!

This jacket is a perfect light rain jacket. The color is really fun too!

Finally, when I returned (after 3 attempts) and many emails. Ross park mall store in Pittsburgh exchanged my defective jacket. This new one is doing great I hope it does not fall apart after one wash and line dry .

This is a great jacket I just wish it were a little longer.

I needed to order a second jacket in a size up because I felt the first one was too short and sleeves felt too tight to wear a sweater under it. Other than that, I absolutely love the jacket! It has a place for everything. The sleeves have velcro around the wrist. The size I have now is longer. It looks well made. Hope to enjoy it for years to come. ( I do find that a lot of L.L. Bean's tops are shorter than I prefer.)

It seems to be a beautiful, wind proof rainjacket. I haven't worn it much yet this fall, but am looking forward to wearing it for many years to come.
