I bought for getting use to for a cruise next spring but unfortunately had to return for a 2x cause I'd never be able to be comfortable with a sweatshirt in Iceland, etc. I loved the clover color will exchange for the burgundy (although delivery isn't til 2024). Hoping my jacket arrives early & I will upgrade to FIVE stars.

I love the blue color and it fits well. I am not thrilled with the fabric, but I may like it more when it is raining.

The jacket was exactly as described. Only problem was arms were snug so you couldn't wear heavy sweater underneath.

Nice fit, but not as breathable a material as described.

I am happy with the rain jacket. Only issuue is that the sleeves are about 3 inches too long. They have a Velcro closure that you can use but have to undo it again to get your hands out.

What are forgiven at five stars except that the zipper keeps getting stuck at the bottom. Otherwise, I love the jacket.

This jacket fits well, purchased my usual size. It is roomy enough for sweatshirt underneath. And seems to be water resistant. I was looking for something with a little more lining for the fall, this is a very thin shell.. but will keep and wear layers.

Nice jacket. Kept me dry in a very heavy fog on a ferry ride to/from Mackinac Island last week. Also acted as a good windbreaker for my entire Upper Peninsula trip, such was quite breezy/windy. Fits nicely over a tee and sweatshirt. Fabric on right side of zipper often gets caught in the teeth as I zip from the left-sided zipper, so I'm docking my rating by one star. If I continue to need another person to help me unzip the jacket, I will be returning it to Bean!

This coat kept the water off. The sleeves were easy to get off just by releasing the velcro. It was warm enough in the rain in about 60 degrees. Other reviews commented on sleeve tightness. They were fine for me, but not overly roomy. I could wear a light sweater under it and did feel any pulling. It folded into the pocket just fine for traveling. Watch the you tube video for instructions. I was unhappy that LLBean no longer had the gore tex stowaway jacket. I have one and it is superior to the material in the trail model jacket.

Lightweight good coverage to waist. Like the three pockets. Don't like the liner, wish it was mesh.

Light, cute, slim cut, a little short in the length and long in the sleeves, breathable. Not great for a steady rain because it's too thin.

Bought this at the LL Bean store in Maine on our drive to Acadia. It was the perfect rain jacket for our trip.

Beautiful color, comfortable, zip a bit tricky as it grabs the cloth at times. Great good; not found on most rain jackets.

Good rain jacket. It is very lightweight, so I sized up in order to wear warm layers underneath. Excellent waterproof capability. Finally watched a u-tube to get the "pocket packing" just right and it worked! Though it is lightweight and packable, it's hot and sticky. Complaint: zipper sticks and gets caught in placket.

The green color of this jacket is gorgeous!. It is super lightweight and it does keep you dry. The zipper works well and material is high quality. My only complaint is about sizing. I tried two sizes on at the store. Large fit well in shoulders and in chest and arms but a tad tight in hip. XL was a little too big in the arms and in the body of the jacket. It does have velcro adjusters on the cuffs which solves sleeve length. The looseness does make layering possible. The jacket does fold up to a very small size and it was not a mess when taking it our of a bag. Other than the sizing its a great jacket.

It is pretty much what I was looking for--lightweight, nylon, nice pockets, velcro closures to help keep sleeves tighter at wrist, good color. I wish the hood were detachable because I don't use the hood. I've looked everywhere for the wind breakers of former years and this is the closest one I've found.

I bought 3 to compare features. There are no armpit vents and I'm a warm hiker. Pockets all zip, good hood and adjustable velcro closures on wrist and for flap over zipper where I prefer snaps. Single layer, light weight good looking.

The fit is fine. My complaint is that I purchased this model because it says it "folds into it's own pocket." That was great. After receiving it I couldn't figure out how to fold it!! It did not come with any instructions. I took it too the L.L.Bean store and they really didn't know either. One sales person ended up just stuffing it into the pocket! I still would like an instruction page to do it correctly. Please help

Love the color and fit but wish the fabric didn't crinkle all the time. Provides good protection from rain. Feels better if you wear a long sleeve shirt or sweater under it.

The fit of this jacket is smaller than expected . I purchased same jacket a number of years ago, it was much too large after weight loss. I ordered this jacket one size smaller and it fits but without much extra room. I love the color, the pickets, and the Velcro as well as zipper closures. The green color is very pretty.
