I love it! It is so warm yet doesn't feel heavy. I also love the double zipper so sitting in the car is easy.

I recently moved to Duluth, MN from West Virginia - and it has been an adjustment weather-wise. I previously had an LL Bean parka but gave it away because I didn't think I would need it anymore (so many regrets). Anyways, I've been browsing for a jacket that isn't going to make me look like a marshmallow puff but still keep me warm in negative degree weather. I got this jacket in the kelp green and settled on a medium - the overall physical fit is good and there's still plenty of room to layer. I have yet to actually wear it outside so I will update the review once I've put it through it's paces. But, initial thoughts on the jacket are positive!

I've worn Bean parkas for years, but it was time for a new one and I decided to give this a try. All I can say is what a great jacket for the cold. I literally do not feel the cold in this, even with just a t shirt on. I don't know what Bean did but this is a great cold weather jacket. I like it much better than the previous parkas I've had. I've only worn it down in the lower 20s so far but its kept me super warm. I'd recommend this coat to anyone.

Just can't say enough positive's regarding this jacket. They didn't have my original choice of black so I tried the navy. So glad it worked out that way. So warm, great hood that is easily detached, love the longer length to keep my upper legs warm.

She loves it. The recent "sub zero wind chill" weather was a great test too. The color and the coverage was also a hit. Seriously, she loves everything about it, and if she's he happy, I'm happy.

I'm a 5'6" 200lb woman. I recently purchased this jacket in a plus 1x in hopes I could find a longer coat to fit over my large butt and hip area with enough room to have a sweater and layers under. Boy did I choose correctly!! This coat is amazing! It's stylish, warm, and more than enough room for me to fit multiple layers. You can never go wrong with LL Bean!

I love this parka. Winter has been cold this year in the Pacific Northwest. This parka has been a God-send. Most of the time it is all I need to wear (above my clothes). Every now and then I need to add a heavy sweater underneath. I usually wear a hat and if it is super cold I'll put the hood on too. I wear it almost daily. I'm really enjoying it. I highly recommend it. I especially like the inside hidden pocket.

I absolutely LOVE this parka! I'm 5'2" and it's not too long. The snaps on the sleeve are great so they don't hang down on me. It's warm, soft and the zippers inside the pockets are a lovely detail. I bought the burgundy, color is exactly as shown.

Great warm jacket for my moms walks from the parking garage to work (hospital). Long and great hood. Probably great for walks as well as it's light.

I'm loving this coat! It's super warm and very comfortable. Temperatures have been in the teens recently and I don't even feel it with this coat on. I got an XS regular, I'm 5'2" and 120 pounds and it fits perfect. I also love that it has drawstrings on the inside to cinch the waist if needed. Would definitely buy again and would recommend to others.

The Classic Parka is wonderfully warm. It blocks the wind and keeps me toasty. I am always cold! I removed the hood as it was getting in the way when I did not really need it. It will be great if we get snow and it is windy. The zipper is very sturdy and works easily. I am older and have some trouble with the snaps. They work well they are just tight to snap. I've only used it for a week but I love it!!!

I love this coat. It makes me feel so cozy and warm. I wore it all weekend in the mountains in temperatues between 3 and 32 degrees and it was great.
