This is a lovely, quality fleece vest. The muted purple color is fabulous, and the longer length works. I think the sizing is off. I have four other LL Bean fleece vests all in size XL. The description of this vest says, "slightly fitted." The XL was huge. I exchanged for an L, and it is still not slightly fitted. The zipper pulls were not appealing to me; so I removed them. I think the vest is more attractive without them. I think it would be even more attractive without the LL Bean name/logo. I'm getting a little bit tired of being a walking LL Bean advertisement.

This vest is comfy and not too heavy. I normally wear a medium but I chose the large size, which makes it perfect for layering. Since I'm 5'1", it's also comes just below my derriere, which I like as well.

I have two of these fleece vests. I bought them years ago; one grey and one navy. I wear them every day, over one of the many LL Bean Women's Waffle-Knit Henley long-sleeve shirts. I have about 10 of those shirts and the waffle weave does wonders at keeping the heat in. The fleece vests are my workhorse wear. In the winter, in my little rural cottage, it gets quite cold, and I have to bundle up. The heating system is not a modern forced-air heat that runs though-out the house, so it gets pretty cold inside. A tee shirt, then an LL Bean Waffle Weave Henley, then one of these fleece vests. If it's super cold, I wear an LL Bean Cashmere Crew Sweater over the Waffle Weave shirt, under the fleece vest. They wash up just fine, don't shrink and still look great after all these years. I recently saw these fleece vests being sold in a gorgeous Loden Green, but unfortunately I didn't jump on it, and then it was gone in a day. Lesson learned. Anyway, these vests are a good layer for those colder days. I recently purchased, and am waiting for, one of those LL Bean Mountain Pile vests, as it is getting time to rotate out these old fleece vests with some other vests. If you're looking for a good winter layer, indoor or outside, you would do well to add a or a few of these fleece vests to your repertoire.

I purchased my normal size from LLBEAN and it fits perfectly. Probably the most comfy vest I own. I'm sure I'll be purchasing another in the future.

Wonderful, plush, warm & stylish. I love everything about this vest & wish I could have every color. I got the gorgeous muted purple in size large & the fit is perfect for this 5'3", 160 lb girl.

As usual Bean quality and fit. Just the right item to wear when it's just a wee bit chilly. The only thing that I might prefer is a richer black color.

Nothing like a classic vest for an outdoor girl's wardrobe. Great Bean quality and flattering fit; I expect to get a lot of wear out of this vest this fall.

This is a slightly fitted very soft and warm (great for layering) fleece vest. There are two roomy, zippered pockets nicely placed for hand warming as needed. I ordered forest green which is a lovely color of green. The only change I would suggest is a bottom zipper to zip up when sitting because vest bunches at the bottom

I have two of the fleece jackets in this same material, so I decided on a vest because I'm always having hot flashes :( This vest does not disappoint! Perfect fit and length, flattering but not snug, super soft with nice pockets. I wear this year round and sometimes in the house with just a tank top underneath when the AC is on or it's drafty. I only have one complaint: that it doesn't come in gray like my jacket lol. Highly recommend!
