nice fit, great price, perfect weight for a extra layer for cold northeast winters

I absolutely LOVE my fleece vest. I have it on right now.

I've been wanting a fleece vest for a while but hadn't found one that fit what I had in my head. I was in store for a return and happened to see the Mountain Classic Fleece vest and it was perfect. The fleece feels so nice (most fleeces feel weird, if you know you know), the fit is great, the neck keeps the heat in without being too tight, the pockets are spacious and zip closed, and I love that it's made from 97% recycled materials. I put it through the wringer immediately after buying it on a hut trip over the next 3 daysand it was fantastic! It kept my core so toasty warm (in 10 degree weather with a wind chill down to probably -20, with just a merino sweater under and a hardshell on top) while also being legit breathable (confirmed by working hard, breaking trail while backcountry skiing). It is possibly the best clothing/layering purchase I've made in a while. The only thing I wish it had was a small chest pocketbut everything else is perfect and I LOVE it.

I have one of these in Black, Navy and Green and wear one to work every day!

The fleece vest I ordered is a replacement for one that I literally wore until I could no longer conceal the worn corners and the aging. I had bought this vest for my mother, who was so pleased by the color and quality of the fleece. Sizing was accurate.

I've owned many LL Bean's fleece jackets but this vest was a first. Wow! Now I feel how I can live without one. It's as warm as a jacket but without the bulk. Pockets, arm holes big enough for thick sweaters why layering, just right body length (I wear a Petite Small), everything is great. I think I will get another one in a different color.

I bought this vest for layering. I usually wear at least two long sleeves during the day, maybe one more if I'm going outside and then add vest on for added warmth. I prefer that over wearing a jacket. This vest truly is huge. This photo is of me wearing 1 layer with a lot of room inside. Luckily I bought this vest to be my winter vest, I'll be wearing multiple layers underneath. I may need to order a XXS P which is odd since I'm not a small individual by any means both in weight and height. I've also cinched at the waist for a "cropped" look but the vest has a lot of fabric so cinching it too much protrudes the belly. Again not a big deal since its for the winter months.

I have many fleece vest from LLBean, they all fit fine and wear well, this is a dark navy blue. It's one of many that I have.

Just that little extra layer for cooler days, can still get a flannel under and a fleece on top. Nice and long, no cold sneaking up the backside. Zipper works well.

GF fell in love with my vest, had to buy one for her. If I didn't, I would have had to give mine up and that wasn't happening. Nicely built, warm and very practical. Thank you.

I love the fit and style of this vest! Not too tight but fits just right at the hips. Fleece is just thick enough to be warm but not too fluffy and hot.

I have this vest in 3 colors. I love them. They wash well and last forever.

I volunteer at an animal shelter and a food pantry. The buildings are warehouse in design. I love having my arms free for mobility and the vest is warm without being hot. It washes and dries and still holds its shape. I love it

I got this fleece vest to replace another company's fleece vest that had turned out to be stiff and not very well-designed. Good replacement! I am a daily hiker, usually covering 6 to 10 miles in a variety of weather conditions. This vest fits well and is a good top layer, but also does well under a jacket or parka. It is soft, but substantial, and has pockets and zippers that are easy to use. The zipper pulls are especially helpful when I'm wearing gloves.
