amazing! relaxed but flattering fit. Spacious pockets, sturdy zippers with useful elastics around the wrists and adjustable ties for the hood and bottom of the jacket. The colors are great too! I will update my review after taking it out on the trails a couple times.

I just got this coat today and I absolutely love it! It fits perfect (even over my larger chest). I thought about sizing up for that reason and am glad I didn't. I love the colors and comfort of it. I am going to be using it camping this weekend in Wisconsin so we will see how it fares through the weather.

I ordered this jacket when it was still warm here. Yesterday, it was cool and rainy so I grabbed my new jacket as I left the house. I love it. Lightweight, pretty and just the perfect thing on a cool, rainy day. The colors are gem-like. I look forward to wearing it again.

Lightweight. Used it in a sprinkle of a rain water beaded up. Attractive. Roomy enough to wear warm clothing underneath.

I usually try and select items on line or from the catalog, however, I was pleased to be in the store to purchase this item. I was able to try it on and realized that the Petite items fit me better.I am very satisfied with this purchase and I love going to the L.L. Bean store in Freeport, Maine when I am on a US road trip with family. Thank You.

Lightweight yet durable. A comfortable fit yet room for a sweater underneath. Love the colors! I am going to get a lot of wear out of this.

I am OBSESSED with the look of this windbreaker. I am in love with the colors, and it fits perfectly. I was toying between getting a regular and a petite, but decided on the petite because of my height. It fits PERFECTLY. It is absolutely what I needed because I travel a lot and never know what kind of weather I will be dealing with. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a good quality windbreaker.

I'm very happy with my purchase of this jacket. It fits really nicely and I appreciate that there are petite sizes available. If you are around my size, I would recommend getting the petite, as as it does tend to hang a little long and I would imagine that the regular fit wouldn't sit right. The torso is a looser fit, and there is enough room to fit a thermal jacket underneath. If you are looking for a good jacket for rainy summer weather, camping, or hiking, this is the one!

What a find! Comfortable & roomy. Very resistant to water and great for hiking. I initially bought it because I loved the different color combination of the fabric and that it was waterproof & had a hood. I wear a petite size M, which fit perfectly, with enough extra room to have another shirt on underneath. With the exceptional quality of LL Bean, I'm looking forward to years of hiking ahead in this versatile jacket.

Great quality, lightweight, and attractive. The zipper is higher at the neck (wonderful for chilly winds) and the hood, although some complained it was too big, seems fine to me. Best windbreaker ever.

I have purchased this item for an upcoming summer trip to Iceland. Other than trying the item on and wearing it around the house to insure comfort and size, the jacket has not really been put to the road test. However, it has a good fit with room to wear a few light layers underneath, if necessary. The colors are true to what is represented in the picture, and the decorative braid is much cuter than indicated in the picture. I was interested in something unique and colorful so that I could be identified from a distance... and I think this definitely will serve that purpose well!

Very comfortable, breathable material (not plastic). Neck opening plenty large enough to put on and off easily. Having hood is good if weather turns colder. Just what I was looking for!

Love the colors, love how it fits and feels and I especially love its timeless design. I owned one years ago, and am so glad I purchased again.

The color block styling of this jacket caught my attention. A little different from your run of the mill anorak. It actually looks better in real life than in pictures. I love it. Although it is not fully waterproof, it kept me dry through a rainy picnic. The pocket in front is handy but well concealed in the design. The style is generous to go over a sweater or sweatshirt but not bulky.
Perhaps one of my favorite clothing in purchases this decade.

This is one of the better pull over's I have. Keeps the wind out - been using for spring skiing - one thing that could make it that much better would be vents under the arms just so you can keep it on and cool off at the same time. I live in Utah and am looking forward to using for hiking. I like the fact it packs into its self and is really light. love the colors and fit.

It's been a really wet spring. I teach and walk the children evey day to their busses. This jacket keeps the wet and wind out. I love how it cinches so the rain stays out. So light weight and comfortable I find myself wearing it inside and out. Great style LLBean! Super fun color!

I bought this jacket at the end of the fall, so haven't worn it yet. It's cool and still really rainy here so I'm not wearing it yet. I plan to wear it with another layer. The colours are gorgeous, and the styling is very nice. It's light, and the fabric has a nice feel. I did fold it up into my bag, and when I pulled it out - no wrinkles. I'm looking forward to getting lots of use out of this jacket as I think it will be perfect for the less rainy spring, summer, fall weather in the Pacfic Northwest.

I typically wear a PM in L.L. Bean; I bought this in a PL so I could wear layers or a heavy sweater under it, and I find it comfortably loose. The hood fits well, the drawstrings work well, and the pockets are perfect--plenty of room and well placed. I just tucked it up into its own pocket for packing for the first time, and it's big but nice and flat.
A few minor cons:
Like many manufacturers, Bean cuts their "petite" clothing for someone of average height, about 5'4", so the sleeves just about reach my fingertips, but they're not uncomfortable pushed up.
Also, while this is water resistant, it is not waterproof. Much like a tent or a tarp, if the wet area gets pressed to your skin, a touch of moisture seeps through. It's not bad, but it's noticeable.
Overall, I'm very pleased.

I would normally order a medium but since the reviews looked to be "runs large" I ordered down to a small. I'm glad I did. I love the retro look of the pattern/colors of this jacket. It seems to be of good quality. I'm not fond of partial zip jackets but this one seems to have a nice, wide opening to get it over your head easily. It provides nice wind protection. I don't think it's a good rain coat though. Any rain more than sprinkles will come through. Happy with the jacket!

I could not love this layer more. Perfect for over a light jacket to add extra warmth (and a hood) in cold weather or by itself on warmer days. Easy to just toss it in the wash as often as needed. Love the pockets! The fit and length are perfect. And it looks great-- love the colors. This is my second one, and I've lost track of how many years I've been wearing the first one.

Loved this Jacket! got a large only because I have bigger hips and bust and it is amazing! lots of room still but already got a few compliments on it! I can wear a hoodie underneath it and the colors are so nice. Would Recommend!

The Multi is a very special combination of 4 colors. I love it that the colors which look better on me are on the top. So, the Spruce Green of the hood and top surround my face. The hood can zip up high so it covers the bottom of my chin. It has cinches to tighten it, or you can tie them if you want. I have worn a knitted hat under the hood for warmth. Or you can wear a baseball cap instead. No, I did not find the hood too big, and I have a tiny head. The nearby Alpine Blue raglan sleeves offer a good range of motion. The bottom front of Olive is divided from the top by the band of braiding. And I confess I bought this Multi anorak just for that braided trim! Brick Red on the back bottom finishes it off. Plus there is a hem drawcord. I set off in chilly weather for my hike, dressed in my LLB finery: LLB mock, LLB flannel splitneck, LLB skinny knit jeans, and this anorak. I carried my LLB Chambray Blue sunhat in my LLB knapsack in case the sun came out. Once it did, I removed the anorak, taking out my camera and phone first, so they wouldn't clunk me in the head. I found it a little difficult, maybe because of the flannel shirt's nap. Next time, I'll wear something slinkier, an LLB Pima mock plus an LLB nylon or poly vest. The anorak should slip on or off easily with that combo. The front zip pocket holds a phone, camera, tissues, comb, lipstick, and at least 1 sandwich! Behind it is a huge kangaroo pocket for gloves, etc. This anorak is "wind and water resistant", but Not waterproof. It's also Not insulated. You can find insulated anoraks under Outerwear, but not in this pattern. And they don't have the braided trim. Though I dislike wearing advertising, I must say the colors of the logo reflect the colors of this anorak plus a small bit of white so it looks as if it was born that way! For those who want a roomier fit, this exact same Multi comes in Mens' UY505271. Yes it has the braiding and yes, it's the same price in Regular. Tall is more. Be sure to read the reviews and size chart because some people said the Mens' runs big. This is my first anorak ever. I usually avoid half-zip styles because I don't like putting things over my head don't want to ruin my foundation and lipstick my hair's already a wreck! But this unique color combination, reasonable price, and most of all that braided trim make this a happy exception. I would buy it again and again.
I bought Petite XXS.

Fits great, sleeves are nice length which is hard to find being tall with long arms. Thin material perfect for a top layer over a flannel or long sleeve for a hike
