Kept this jacket, but had to have a tailor shorten the sleeves. Too bad petite sizes aren't for petites.

The petite small size is just right even to wear a vest or heavy sweater underneath. The bright fuscia is gorgeous . It is definitely packable. I am rating it average because it is not as warm as advertised. I expected to layer it and layered at 50 degrees it performed great, at 37-42 with puffer vest or fleece pullover( plus turtleneck) underneath it was not warm enough. I will definitely use it for fall and early spring as it is beautiful and I support the use of recycled material.

Product is nice. I do object to having the ll bean logo on the jacket. Free advertising for your company and I can't even get the sale price on the product. I make it a point not to buy items that have brand logos visible on the product. Unfortunately this was the only item of its type available over many stores.

The new "slightly fitted" styling has me returning products like this jacket all the time now. Clothes from several years ago still fit great, so I know I have not changed, but the new fashion obsessed athletic styling now means that I feel painted into most of your clothing. Even trying a larger size does not work the shoulders are far too wide while the more fitted body is still unattractive. I lived in Bean clothing for years, rejoicing in well made good looking garments, but no more. The points I earn on my Bean credit card are rarely getting used. Please remember not everyone is a fitness model and make clothes for all of us.

Purchased in the store - usually wear a Large sized up to XL and regret it b/c the jacket doesn't fit correctly. Like the color (raspberry) and the lightness - but wish the sizing was more accurate

I bought this same jacket 5 years ago; I liked the fit and the weight of it- everything except the zipper- so when I needed a new jacket I bought this jacket again, assuming that LL Bean would have improved the zipper. I was wrong- the zipper is even worse- it takes me 10-15 tries each time I want to zip up the jacket

Flattering fit but short arm length. Great color with nice pockets.

Lovely on, but it is thin. It was windy the day the jacket arrived so I popped on and stood outside. It didn't perform as well as expected, so back it went. The color and fit was terrific, just not warm enough.

I'm disappointed with this jacket and still deciding whether to keep it. Bought it in black, and the material looks weirdly shiny and trash-baggy. The fit is boxier than I would like. The Petite L sleeves are waaaay to long, have to turn them up twice. It's flatter than any Primaloft I've ever owned and doesn't feel like it will be warm under 50 degrees. I don't know. I don't love it enough to order it in a Medium and see if it makes a difference in the sleeve length. I'm just "meh" on it.

Not as warm as expected. Comfortable and can get a sweater underneath.

I ordered the gray and oh my, I love the orange accents - it's gorgeous. Unfortunately the sleeves are too short and it's too tight across my back while being too loose around the hips. Oh, and they lowered the price by $20 in the last few weeks since I purchased and received it. I love the colors but the odd fit requires a return.

The cut is great. Good length. Great pockets 4 that zip. Nice color (blue). It seems strangely unwarm, though, compared to similar packable jackets.

This jacket is just ok. It feels like all of Bean's products are of less quality than they used to be. This is a replacement for a Bean's Primaloft Packaway that I purchased a few years ago. Without question, the original was of much higher quality. I recently bought a kayak and a pair of boots from Bean's. Both the same models that I've owned previously and both products were, again, of much lower quality. C'mon Bean's. Please return to predictably solid and outstanding levels of quality that we used to depend upon.

I thought it would be warmer. Very light and packable if that's what you are looking for.

This jacket is not that warm. The price does not match for this jacket. it is a light weight jacket. not warm I wear it with a warm vest. I was disappointed in this jacket because I expected it to keep me as warm as the one I got in 2018 for half this price.

I bought this jacket because of the description of its warmth and the lightweight and packable nature. I don't like a big heavy coat so this seemed perfect. If it is less than 50 degrees F, you need several layers underneath. It feels like the back has no insulation at all. This will be ok for spring and fall as a top layer but absolutely not warm enough for winter days.

Decided to try instead of the thermoball and it is cut way too wide at waste. I'm pretty average at 5'6 150. Had to pay shipping to return to exchange so lost any sale benefit. Had to make a call to return - just very clunky order process. Going back to other brand.

Love how it packs into its pocket and it's lightweight but honestly, this is not for cold weather. I was chilly wearing it at about 50 degrees. I had hoped to wear it in the cold winter.

I have ordered this jacket 2 other times and the difference between those and the one I just ordered is startling! I still love the style, colors and zip pockets. However sleeves are too narrow and it is not warm below 45. That wouldn't be a problem as I could wear layers but sleeves are too narrow!

Attractive jacket and lightweight with adequate warmth for Fall and Spring. I would have rated it higher but the material is not very durable. Brushed up against a branch and it now has a small hole in it where it snagged. More of a fashion type jacket than something for outdoor activities.

The jacket is beautifully made, but the cut is boxy and it made me seem rather matronly, so I returned it. I think that this jacket would be more attractive if the trim matched the deeper color of the jacket.

I returned for an exchange over 10 days ago and as yet have not heard anything. The jacket runs large.
