I was so excited for this coat. I purchased a large because I had bought some stuff for Christmas in a medium and I had to return it for a large. So I got the large and it was huge so I debated on a medium or small to exchange it for. I decided on the medium. It fit pretty well, the sleeves were long but fit in the waist. On top of all this... I asked for advice from customer service from the beginning medium or large- I was told a large. I also had to return it and pay the return fee, even after asking.

I needed a jacket that was packable and wind resistant for a trip to the national parks in Utah. I dressed in layers for hikes in high elevations. Even with two layers under this jacket the wind tore right through my clothing. Had to buy a wind breaker to put over this jacket to break the wind. After reading reviews I bought a medium instead of my normal size, which is large. Fit me perfectly.
These statements are misleading:
Features NASA-developed Aerogel technology for even more warmth without weight.
Wind- and water-resistant construction keeps you protected from the elements.
I expected more from such an expensive jacket.
May I return it?

Wanted a new color, so I ordered the same size as my present pack away coat. Old one fit fine, but this one is too snug. There is no room for layering.

I was eager to get this in the mail, and very much in need of a lightweight jacket for spring...but so disappointed with this!
I'm 5'1", 110 lb, and I ordered P XS. The petite sizing was way off -- sleeves were too long, the waist was high and cut in too sharply from the armpits, the biggest part of the chest was too low (so it looked front-saggy), and the size overall was really big.
Would the size down fit? I wouldn't expect it to based on how big this was. And it's annoying enough to pay return shipping when you really wanted something to work, I can't see taking a chance and potentially paying return shipping twice. So frustrating.
