It's beautiful. But it is not at all capable of providing the warmth of a thin sweater

Love everything about this jacket BUT the first time I wore it I sat in my car and the zipper separated at the bottom!
Sadly I will be returning this.

After buying the vest I was excited to purchase this coat. However, where the vest has room to spare, the size is unforgiving and come up small

Cute jacket, not warm. I wear it under a winter coat on colder days. It's too expensive for the lack of warmth.

Bought this 2 years ago and only find it useful on days that hover between 50-60 degrees. I find my heavy sweatshirts are actually warmer. It's just not as bulky. I did wash it, following instructions exactly. That seemed to diminish warmth.

I had to return the jacket. The sleeves were too deep. I couldn't zip up the jacket. I also thought going up to anXL from an L would be good=NOT.

This is not a very warm jacket . It is more like a sweatshirt that just looks nicer. Salesperson said it would be plenty warm for a hike in Utah in the November. Not sure where she hikes but it gets cold in the mountains at 4,000'+ elevation. I triple layered mine as we hiked and it was appropriate. Definitely not worth the $$.

I bought 1x and 2x after the 1x didn't fit properly. Both sizes 1x and 2x, its too tight in the upper arms . I couldn't flex my shoulders due to how tight it was in the upper arms

This jacket would be perfect if the zipper worked. Don't buy it! It's very frustrating when the zipper unzips as you walk. I only use it now when I want to pack a light jacket and don't intend on zipping it. LL Bean should consider a different style of zipper.

I love everything about this jacket but after a month it is falling apart. The zipper does not work, it has loose threads everywhere and there is a tear in the jacket. Not what I expect from LL Bean and at this price. I going to try to return it.

Couldn't zip it. It comes apart at the bottom when you attempt to zip it. I am very disappointed, I liked the weight of it and pack away features. I had planned to take this on an extensive overseas trip.

This is not a winter jacket!! I walked out on the porch to see what to expect and it was like wearing a paper jacket. It was about 30 degrees. I went back into the house and prepared the return. Very disappointed. I am still waiting for the return to be credited to my account.

I tried two different jackets in size small. They fit it the shoulders but there was way too much room in the body. First one was a different jacket in size small the arms were very long; then this one in small petite, still really big in the body. They were not flattering . I'm 5'5" 120 lbs.

I have always been a petite medium .
First, I was wrongly sent a regular medium. Then you sent a petite medium which was too small!!
Very disappointed.

Received coat for Christmas. Loved fit, style, and light weight. One month into wearing it, I am disappointed because outer fabric tears so easily. Customer service representative advised me to buy a down coat repair kit. A needle and thread would aggravate the tear.

As with all LL Beans jackets, zippers only last for a very short time. I have 2 of these jackets and both need zippers Only worn 1 Winter. They need double zippers , LL Bean puts in very cheap zippers.

Got this jacket as a Christmas gift last year. Shortly after getting it, the fabric started to rip. Went to go and exchange it where it has the 1 year warrantee and not a jacket defect and wouldn't exchange. For an almost $200 jacket you would expect much better quality ESPECIALLY from LL Bean. Doesn't provide much warmth unless you are bundled up in layers. Wouldn't recommend and will probably need a new jacket within a couple years if the rip keeps expanding. Will think twice before getting another jacket from LL bean with the price and lack of quality. Definitely a good looking jacket but do not recommend.

This jacket was nothing like what I expected to receive. It was flimsy, with a poor fit, and not what I thought it would present like. First time I've been disappointed in a product from LL Bean. I immediately returned it!

I purchased this jacket and returned it. It is not warm nor was mine water repellent nor does it block the wind. Was so disappointed, the new fabric is such a disappointment, it is very flimsy. I have had one of the original Primaloft jackets for about 7-8 years, I still have that and wear it for workouts and knock around stuff. It is warm and water repellent (after numerous washings), fabric is heavier. I traded it in for the Down 850 Sweater which is worth the little bit extra money.
