I had one but it got punctured. This one is very thin and not very warm. I live in VT and even with layers it's not enough for the zero to30 degree winter days. Very disappointed. Fine for fall and early spring but not for winter. I do like the outer top front zipper which is large enough for an ultra cell phone. I would have been better off getting a windproof fleece jacket!

I bought this jacket to replace a similar one from several years back. While I like that this is longer than the previous one, I don't feel that overall it is as nice looking. A little disappointing!

I tried this jacket in XL, 1LX and 2XL and just couldn't find the right fit. I'm a classic hourglass shape and I found the fit on this jacket super weird. The 1XL fit well everywhere except the arms and chest where it was tight, but the 2XL was fine in the arms and chest, but was then super loose at the hips, letting air in. I opted to return all sizes and went with a different brand due to the strange fit. I also have the Primaloft vest and the fit is COMPLETELY different from that. Overall, the jacket would be perfect for activity outside, but definitely not warm enough for cold winters. I wanted this jacket for walking outside and it would have been perfect for that.

The jacket is fine but your sizing remains problematic. I have this jacket in large from a year ago. It is a bit small through the stomach. I wanted a bit more room to layer and so ordered the XL. The top is more roomy. The stomach is not. I am still wearing the old one because the color is better. May still return the new one. I have encountered inconsistent sizing before. I wanted another pair of fleece lined tights. Ordered the same size and they were way too small.

I have been a faithful member and purchaser of LL Bean products for two decades, spending thousands of dollars on their products. Disappointed at the quality of materials on this jacket - snags easily and the zipper split after only one year of use during two seasons. LLBean said they will not do a return because it's just over the one year but I'm sending it back anyway as it is unusable. Disappointing.

I was looking forward to this jacket. It's well made but too small in the shoulders for an XXL

I tried this jacket tonight for walking my dogs. It was 42 degrees outside. I had a heavy knit shirt underneath and I was freezing. In addition, the XL sizing for the bust is 44. Not even close! I couldn't have worn a sweater underneath this if I wanted to. I think the look is very stylish, and I had great expectations for primaloft (the jacket was very light), but unfortunately I am returning this.

I like the color and fit of the jacket (I bought camp green). However, the jacket is not as warm as expected. I understand that it is not for deep cold, but for me it is only appropriate for 45+ degree weather, even when I am active. I was hoping to use it down to 30 degrees.

I have this jacket in two smaller sizes from previous years. This jacket is so much thinner than those that I sent it back, although I like everything else about it. It's not suitable below 50 degrees unless you layer with a vest. So disappointed, but it's just too thin. I bought the 850 down hooded jacket instead.

I bought it and it is not that warm, but it does have a place. The cost of the coat is more than I would pay a two season jacket. This coat is great if you are out skating, snowshoeing or something like that.

We bought 2 of these (one for me, one for daughter) and while they are warm (still need sweater under it with colder temps) I am so disappointed that it really lets in alot of water from rain (and not even super heavy rain). The coat stays wet, takes a while to dry, and our shirts underneath get damp. Not what I was hoping for for this price range. It really is almost like wearing a heavy sweatshirt. This coat is too expensive to not be able to wear it on rainy/snowy days.

I bought this jacket several years ago and love it. I wanted another one, so I ordered this newer version. Unfortunately, it's not as long as the previous version, and the hood was too big. It came down too low and covered my eyes. I had to return it. I hope they bring back a style more similar to my old one.

Doesn't feel very warm. Expecting an upgrade on previous packaways I purchased several years ago.

The jacket folds as advertised. The sleeves were too tight on my biceps. I purchased this to layer while camping.

I normally wear a 1X, but the cutting in the arms of this jacket was too tight. I exchanged for a 2X. The arms on the 2X fit fine, but the body was too wide. Also, the material is thinner than other compatible brand.

I owned this jacket in green for 3 or 4 years, until last winter, when I noticed that the insulation was coming out through the fabric, and I sent it back to LL Bean. Then I tried looking for a similar jacket that I would like as much as I liked that one, with good fit, decent pockets and stuffable. After several months trying other manufacturers, I was unsuccessful. So when this came up in the Daily Markdown, I decided to give it another try, in a different color. The sizing has changed (the old one was XXL, but this time I needed XL), so hopefully the quality is better. Ask me again in two or three years.

Love the color and the packability. Runs small, in the chest and wide in the hips. I weigh 145 and the large was too small. Had to bring it back

I like the jacket, its warm and a pretty color but I hate the tiny hood with elastic around the face. I wish it was just a collar instead.

This jacket fits well, but the neckline is uncomfortable. It would probably be ok with a turtleneck or scarf but by itself it's scratchy. Sleeve and cut is nice. The weight is light, lighter than I thought and I'm not sure if it would be very warm or not. I decided to send it back because for the price I should love it and I just didn't like the sharp feel of the neckline.

This jacket showed up when I selected 'warmer' as the temp rating but it's not that warm. It's fine for 40s-50 but temps in the 30s, you have to wear a long sleeve shirt and another layer to be warm. Aside from that it's a great coat, not bulky.

The color is great. Love the pockets. The hood really comes down almost to my eyes. Not as warm as I thought it would be. Very good for 30F and above.

I have been a LLBean customer for 30+ years. Lots to like about this jacket. I love being able to zip shut pockets when active, Love the color and being able to packaway but just be aware and know that this is not a "warm" jacket. It's perfect if you are active and like to "layer" I use it for snowshoe outings with one fleece and one wickaway under it. If you are planning on wearing this for "winter' ...mmm..not so much. Great little jacket but the cheap llbean logo sticker in the unmatching color instead of stitching is a poor choice. Thank you LLBean for plus size wear for us gals.
