The overall style of the jacket is great. However I wish the fit was better. I'm 5'2 &115lbs, got the PXS and am still kind of swimming in it...I've gotten other PXS jackets from LLBean before and had a little extra room but not as much as this. I feel like the fit of this jacket is more relaxed than "slightly fitted" as advertised. For me, there's definitely plenty of room for a warm fleece underneath if I wanted to wear in cold weather--but I got it to wear in the warmer months as a light jacket. Still contemplating whether to keep it or return.

This is a great lightweight jacket. If you want to wear something heavy under it, I would suggest sizing up as it has no stretch or lining so putting it over heavy clothes is difficult. I have had another LLBean anorak for over 20 years and I love it. I would have liked for this one to be lined like my old one. The old one has a thinsulate liner which is slippery and makes putting it on and off much easier. This jacket has no liner so the cotton is a bit difficult to maneuver on and off. However for a lightweight jacket its great. It looks great on and is very comfortable to wear. Now LLBean...lets bring the old version with the thinsulate back!!!! Oh...and other colors would be great. I don't mind the black, but would have liked some brighter choices since the jacket is lightweight and will be worn in warmer weather. The color block version isn't my favorite as it reminds me of an apron.

I am still frequently wearing my 26 year old anorak and I am thrilled to see it available again!! I am waiting to order my new one when more colors are available. Black is not my color!! THANKS for considering brighter colors or at least navy blue. Then the rating will be 5 star!!

I love this pullover, it has a cute fit and is super portable. The jacket easily packs into the zippered center pocket and makes a square small enough to throw into most backpacks, large purses, or glove boxes. It's great for travel and would be a perfect spring/summer/fall layer. I would recommend ordering a size up if you would like to wear anything bulky underneath it. The only thing I wish they would have done differently is to make the hip drawstring at the bottom elastic, it would make it easier to pull off and over your head. I'm 5'2 130lbs (very athletic build) and got the XS.

This anorak was ALMOST perfect. The quality and the fit was everything I hoped for. But then I pulled the hood up, and it flopped down to cover my eyes. There is no cord in the back the hood to adjust for this, so I had to return. An anorak without a functional hood is useless. This anorak deserves better.

Not very heavy material. I would have like a whole zipper. Since I haven't worn it yet I really don't know what to tell you. Sizing is right.

Nice style, but not very rugged material. See-through Kind of like the T-shirts to get these days. I have an anorak from L.L. Bean from several years ago that was much tougher material.

I wished it was a little warmer to wear on cold days. I didn't realize how thin it was going to be.

A little big but good for layering I guess. Good to have on some days.

Over the years I have purchased many of these Anoraks in different colors. After ordering black and olive within the past year, I can certainly see that the material is much lighter than the previous ones I have ordered. I like these anoraks because the pockets are perfectly placed and the zip pocket in the front is perfect to keep keys, id, etc without having to bring your purse. Great weight for walking the dog in the spring but, I use my older ones now in the Fall because they are heavier weight. I miss the weight from the older anoraks. .

Love it other than the arms being too short.

I have purchased this anorak over the past several years in various colors. I was thrilled to see it in black and the dusty Olive and bought both. Unfortunately, these are not the same weight or quality as the ones that I had previously bought in the past. I wear a large and I felt that they were a little snug around the hips. I have an electric blue, Navy and red that I bought in previous years that are much heavier weight and fall perfectly. For the price these anoraks , I would think that the weighted material is worth bringing back. I love this product and I hope you keep it in the selection however the heavier weight is much better

I was so excited to see this on LL Bean's website. I ordered it, and like others, had to exchange it a couple of times to figure out the right size. I could forgive that much, and would have still given it a five star review. However, after only two months of wear, the fabric is wearing away oddly on the back. I can't credit it to anything I may have done to it, and I'm disappointed at how poorly this has worn. This is my second LL Bean jacket purchased in recent months that has been a disappointment.

I bought this is black and it fit exactly how I wanted it to. It was a great length and not too boxy. Note in ran a little big (I got an XS and I'm 5'4 120 lbs and it was still pretty baggy) but I wear my clothes loose so it was fine for me. However over time around the seams/edges, the black fabric has started to fade pretty noticeably.

I owned three of these anoraks in years gone by. Can't say enough good things about them as a versatile outdoor garment. I'm so delighted to see them back on the LLBean website.......but bummed that it only comes in black? I look seriously awful in black. How about some blue or green? Or bright yellow? Please add more colors, and I'll end up buying a few of them. Seriously great jacket for my outdoor work!! LOVE the pockets, the weight, the breathability, the versatility. This anorak would easily get five stars if it came in other colors than black. Thank You!

The material of the rain jacket was thinner than I expected. The jacket looked like it wouldn't be much protection in the rain. In the picture, I thought the zipper was full length, but it's only half. I didn't want a jacket that I had to pull over my head, so I sent it back.

I purchased this after weight loss to replace a 4 year old black one that was too big. I ordered a navy blue. There is a noticeable difference in the quality. My older jacket is thicker and feels more waterproof. Not thrilled with the quality.

Unfortunately the inside
Of the material catches on my clothes when I take it off and my shirt comes off with it

The photo that shows the model's waist had to be pinned or held in the back. The drawstring is at the bottom, so your waist will look as big as the widest point, like a pumpkin on legs. I have sewing skills, but so far I can't figure out how to move the drawstring with this garment's construction. Otherwise, it's excellent, as you'd expect.

I ordered a plus size 1X and I am 5ft 6in. The jacket was super short almost like a crop top and the chest area was too tight. I have exchanged it for a 2X but it is delayed so we shall see if that fits better. It's cute just wish it fit.

I expected the quality of product to be much better. Quality and price does not match. It is too thin. Just not what I expected. Overpriced.

I loved the way this fit and looked, and it is a great light layer. It also folds up nicely for easy carrying. The pockets are fantastic. However, when I bought this at the store, I specifically asked for something to wear in the pouring rain, and this failed. It kept me dry in a light drizzle, but during a twenty minute walk in steady rain, my sleeves, shoulders and head were damper than I liked. (See photo.) In pouring rain, I was completely soaked. On the bright side, the jacket did dry very quickly. I'm tempted to keep this as a windbreaker, but will have to look for something else for a rain coat.

The material is fairly thin, flexible and breathable. However the wind goes right through. And I think any rain or moisture will too I tested by hand and water drops don't bead up enough for my liking to justify this anorak. The fit length wise for a Size Small for my 5foot 3inch 125 lb 39 yo fit frame was alright, but the sleeves were too long and ended in these really unattractive gathered elasticized cuff. Honestly, for the price I almost kept it, if not for hating the feel and look of those bunches sleeves and elastic cuffs.
