This windbreaker is practical as well as attractive! I find myself wearing it quite often. It packs well...no ironing needed. And it can be worn all year round.

This jacket is exactly what I was looking for. Perfectly lightweight, very flattering! The fabric is so soft, and the bottom of the jacket has strings to tighten if you wish. Absolutely buy this, such a hot deal!

This is exactly what I was expecting. It runs a little big but other than that fits perfectly. Washes really nicely.

This was just what I've been looking for to layer over a light sweater, shirt in spring for a European trip. The fabric is soft yet durable, the fit is perfect. I am so pleased with this! The quality of this garment for the price is amazing.

Classic style with a great fit and comfort, just one thing I would like to request in the future is some goring to be added to the under arm for added ease when removing.

I just received my anorak today and I love it already! Why didn't I buy one sooner?! The anorak is a lighter weight than I imagined, but will be perfect for spring here in VA. I bought a size small (I am 5'7'' and 135 lbs) and it fits wonderfully. The sleeve length is perfect and the hood even fits properly. I would recommend this jacket 100%, and I can't wait to start wearing mine! As for the shipping, my order arrived in good condition, and even a day sooner than projected. I absolutely love this jacket. It's cute and has a great cut (I ordered XS, I am 5'2"). This style is timeless. I didn't have a black windbreaker, so I decided to order this immediately after I received the promotional email. This will definitely be hanging on a door hook instead of in the closet, because its such an easy jacket to grab and go. It even packs away-- perfect for tossing in my hiking pack or in my paddleboard bag!

I was thrilled to see this anorak back in stock as I wanted a new color to alternate with my red one that I've had for many years. This anorak fits just like my older one and I like having a black one as it keeps me warmer when I'm hiking on very chilly days ( black absorbs heat). I called ahead for measurements because it stated that it is slightly fitted which concerned me but after being given the measurements and having worn it, I must say that it's more relaxed just like my red one and will fit over a medium weight sweater like the cotton fisherman's sweater. The bust measurement on the Petite XL is 52 inches I believe and while that might sound super large, it doesn't look sloppy at all and one needs that much room to put on and take it off. My only 'gripe' is that I prefer clothing that doesn't display brand labels-especially on the front. I think it would be more tasteful without it. I wish there more colors available. I won't order the color block style because that isn't figure flattering on me at all. Is it on anyone?

YEARS ago I owned an LLBean women's mountain anorak jacket which I absolutely loved. It was a beautiful periwinkle color and I wore it constantly. It lasted forever and I could wear it in many weather conditions. I was near a bonfire one night and some sparks landed on me and burned holes in the coat in obvious areas and I could no longer wear it. When I went to order another one, LLBean was not making it anymore. Ugh! So disappointed! Fast forward to today (15 years later) and the jacket appears on the website again! No color options, but I don't care. I am hoping this one will be just as good as the first! Thanks for bringing it back!!

I was disappointed the color was not what was pictured on page. The full shots showed an aqua type color. The actual color was green.

The quality is good, but it is a little snug in my shoulders. If I bend forward, the shoulders are very tight. would try sizing up but then the mid-section might look like a trash bag..

Nice product but could be a little larger around the hips or zippers on the sides from the bottom would be great.

Love this jacket. Size and fit is good. Only neg comment is I wish it was a couple inches longer.

Lots of potential but prefer solid colors & selection in solid is limited. Wish Bean would bring in better color specialist as their product are excellent but colors (womens especially) miss the mark -especially with the color block options - options limit sales potential

Great lightweight jacket, just wish it was a little longer. The cut gives a bell-shape look. Still pretty nice though!

Very nice jacket , it runs a bit big and the sleeve cuffs are pretty big opening elastic isn't very tight .

The true size guide shows a 1x fitting exactly in the middle for perfect fit. Not to loose or tight. This just fits with a t-shirt underneath. This fits more like an XXL then a 1x. Plus size women will understand. There is a difference. Aside from the sizing the item is a perfect arm length, the weight and quality of the material is great and I LOVE the Kangaroo pocket. I have some outerwear in2x which is boxy and big so i am stickingwith the 1x. . I love that LL Bean is carrying more plus size options.

Definitely size up if you want to wear anything of substance under it. I had to return it. The quality was nice.

This is my new fave jacket. It is perfectly lightweight, great for hiking and wearing to indoor events. it fits like a gem. I will say that pet hair sticks SO easily but just...get a lint roller. 10/10

It is not 100% waterproof, more like water resistant. Light rain youre good, heavy rain not so good. Overall great quality!

I purchased this for a friend and she loves it. Excellent quality and fit is very roomy. Its a nice layer for chilly days and repels water nicely too

Got the black and love it. Fabric perfect for in between weather. Roomy enough to wear heavier shirts underneath. Only drawback would be it is pullover and not as easy to take off conveniently.
